i really did used to download whatever from wherever and just like antivirus - CCleaner - registry edit - system restore my way out of conundrums. i did not care.
#like once a month as a kid i'd be getting that adware like popup virus that would yell at you and lock your browser#and i'd just spend a few hours killing it#instead of developing some kind of caution around what i was doing
