This is how I KNOW that the writers did not give a fuck about Robin in the second half of season 4, okay

4x07 in the upside down, she makes the suggestion to get weapons, guns and grenades, from the police station. First of all, cracking suggestion, a suggestion they actually FOLLOWED, but of course it's framed entirely as "wow isn't Robin stupid for thinking the police station would have grenades". Another instance of her intelligence being ignored, but that can be for another time.

Then, the next day, the next episode (4x08), she says this:

Girlie is now SURPRISED that a place called "warzone" would have grenades. 12 hours ago she thought the police would have grenades, fully prepared to use them, but now she's shocked by the possibility of using them and them being sold at a literal military supply shop?

It's literally such a tiny thing but it pisses me off SO BAD. It's barely even anything really, but to me it just says that the writers paid so little attention to her in that second half, they didn't even consider this. Like lad you already used the grenade line, you can't use it again with the same character.

Now, I don't want to say that the neglect of Robin was due to their obsessive focus on pushing a certain ship agenda, but... actually I totally do
