Okay, this is an idea that Iā€™ve toyed around with for so long with different fandoms, but Stranger Things seems to be the best candidate for a cross over like this. Especially set in season 4.
But basically, a Zoeyā€™s Extraordinary Playlist AU of Stranger Things, with Eddie being in Zoeyā€™s place. Specifically Vampire/Kas Eddie!
We know know Music is a defense against Vecna. It brings the person back from his affect. But what if that wasnā€™t the case anymore? What if Vecna gains someone who has an intimate view of music? Eddie has similar powers to Vecna, with one special diversion. He can hear the music in peopleā€™s minds. In their souls. Instead of them getting a vision, itā€™s him. Itā€™s like a live wire right into their currant emotional state.
I would LOVE to add this idea into my current Vampire Eddie fic, but I donā€™t want it to be too bloated, so for now Iā€™ll just talk about it here. But yeah, he basically hallucinates song/dance numbers involving the people around him when their emotional state heightens. Itā€™s basically a literal interpretation of the Musical Theater saying of ā€˜If the emotion is too much to say, you sing, and if itā€™s too much to sing, you dance.ā€™
Every song is a known one, so itā€™s like the ultimate Juke Box musical spanning multiple genres. He even gets a vision of Vecna. I have no idea what song he would sing, but the sheer amazing idea of a Vecna villain song brings me joy.
Now, knowing me, I just gotta add a lil Steddie x Reader to this, so hear me out. At some point Eddie realizes that itā€™s not just him who hears/sees these things. Steve does too. In fact, heā€™s seen Eddie do a few numbers and vice versa. What if if they both sang love songs to Reader that the other hears? So thereā€™s weird tension because they both like the same person, but they donā€™t know that the other knows that. Then things get even MORE complicated when they catch feelings, and sing love songs TO EACH OTHER. Reader is obviously torn between them, but unaware of the whole music thing.
Random addition, but this idea was sparked by the idea of Steve singing Kenny Logginsā€™ ā€˜Iā€™m Alright.ā€™ Like, I imagine it happens after someone asks Steve if heā€™s okay. Then Eddie has to witness Steveā€™s insistence that heā€™s fine, all the while getting more and more stressed. (While also privately admitting to himself that Steve has a damn good set of pipes on him, even if that song isnā€™t his style.)
Anyway, yeah, I just desperately want all my fave things to have musical episodes.

Get to know me tag game
I was tagged by @pearlypairings and @justhere4thevibez (and yā€™all shoulda seen my face; I was like ā€œomg TWO PEOPLE want to get to know me? šŸ˜šŸ˜‚)
Your name: Iā€™m old enough to remember being told not to give out my name on the internet šŸ˜œ call me lostsoul. Or brochacho. Whatever you feel like, I donā€™t mind.
Sun sign: um. I have Crohnā€™s disease. The only signs Iā€™m interested in are the ones that direct me to the bathroom.
Last thing you listened to: Iā€™ve got my soft rock playlist on right now and itā€™s Against All Odds by Phil Collins
What are you wearing: blue sweatpants and a pink shirt with polka dots
How tall are you: 5ā€™5ā€ (and yes, my 6ā€™0ā€ husband makes fun of me for being short)
Piercings: ears double pierced but never wear earrings since I never leave my house anymore
Tattoos: none, because Iā€™m too chicken, but if I ever got one it would be the Rush Clockwork Angels clock, with tiny script along the hands that read ā€œtime is still the infinite jestā€.
Glasses or contacts: glasses, although half the time I donā€™t wear them because Iā€™m still in denial about being nearsighted
Last drink: ginger ale
Last thing you ate: Iā€™m having spicy tuna sushi right now and itā€™s sooooo good!
Any pets: one dearly beloved cat who died in November but is still the kitty of my heart; and one half-sweet and half-psycho cat who likes to push his little furry face against mine and purr in my ear and then BITE MY NOSE. Heā€™s a bastard but I adore him.
Do you have a crush on someone: I should say ā€œmy husbandā€ but honestly weā€™re way past the cute stage and well into the comfortable and neither one cares that the other gained a few pounds stage of married life. I do, however, have a teeny crush on nearly every single fictional character Iā€™ve ever written about
Favorite fictional characters: my current faves are Eddie Munson, Chrissy Cunningham, El Hopper, Gareth Emerson, and Max Mayfield. This changes often. Favorites of all time include: Westley and Buttercup, Mulder and Scully, and Hamilton Burger from Perry Mason. Heā€™s so dang whiny and it cracks me up every time I hear him go ā€œyour HONNNor!!!ā€
A movie you think everyone should watch: absolutely agree with Princess Bride, and I would like to add The Wedding Singer because itā€™s my all time favorite, and Arrival because itā€™ll really make you think, but not in a brain-hurty Inception kinda way.
A book you think everyone should read: Maniac Magee. Yes, itā€™s a kids book. No, I do not care, read it anyway. Itā€™s SO stinkin good and also Jerry Spinelli has such a gorgeous way with words. I wish I could write like him.
The last place you traveled: also Lancaster, oddly enough, back in December
Tagging: anyone who sees this and wants to play!

Getting To Know You Meme!
Tagged by @fractal-baby and because this is a non-reblog one, I'm inclined to do it and thank you!
Rules: tag a few people you want to know better; make a new post, don't reblog!
Favorite Color:
Yellow! I like a lot of colors, usually in combination, but yellow is sunshine and mustard and lichen, so I like it best.
Currently Reading:
Swordheart by T. Kingfisher aka Ursula Vernon. Thank you for my bisexual rights, Miz Vernon. She writes men good, my brain go brr.
Last Song:
Uhh, lofi hiphop playlist on youtube XD Listening right now because I'm supposed to be drawing a comic. Alternatively: The Barrel by Aldous Harding.
Last Movie:
Also Turning Red! I just read K'diwa, the fanfic, and as a piece of writing it really got me thinking about how the emotions and experience of a writer can be so close to the surface when you're reading something. I've long been aware to pay attention to a writer's values, but emotions, not so much. Turning Red felt really personal in some respects, and I loved it for that. Also I really vibed with it, having grown up in Seattle.
Last Series:
Making my way through Our Flag Means Death : )
Sweet, Savory, or Spicy:
Combos, every time. Maybe all three at once, as a treat, but usually I like two of the three together.
Coffee or Tea:
I enjoy the taste of coffee, but am in the habit of tea. Generally herbal or green though because I am also sensitive to caffeine.
Three Ships:
1. Kirk/Spock, natch
2. Zoro/Sanji, double natch
3. Trying to think of literally anything more interesting, but Buck/Eddie from 911 don't @ me
First Ever Ship:
I think Sango/Miroku was the first one I got chest pains for, but Sarah/Jareth (YES, I KNOW) from Labyrinth was the first I really got into fanfic for. There's a prolific writer who I can't remember the name of. She is why I use yellow hearts, as a reflection of yellow roses, which mean platonic affection and respect.
Currently Working On:
A comic about Spock's stallion line from Star Trek 2009.
Favorite Piece of Clothing:
Hard to choose because I have become very particular about what I end up buying these days, but probably this red knit sweater with embroidered sheep all over it, and little sheep heads with tiny bells as the button covers.
Comfort Food:
Soupy mac and cheese with peas.
Favorite Time Of Year:
Spring! Getting warmer, but before the bugs come out in force.
Fave Fanfic:
Hhhhhhh how could I choose???
Okay you know what. A Beginner's Guide to Communing with the Dead
It introduced me to something I've wanted from urban fantasy and never knew was out there. Namely, magic in a modern world without the smoke and mirrors to keep it hidden. Dean has to fill out paperwork to summon a familiar. There's a giant wall of magic that has to be maintained, and it's newbie work. It was at one point going to be an Abhorsen fusion fic, and you can see elements in there, and I love that because I also love Garth Nix's trilogy.
It does feature the S5 main Supernatural characters primarily as cops though, so if that's not your deal, totally respectable.
Folks! @ruskaina @jaspertheshark @anyone who wants to : )

850.
1. What kinds of genres of music do you listen to? >> Itā€™d be easier to name the genres I donā€™t listen to...
2. Are there any types of music that you donā€™t listen to at all? >> ...which would be bluegrass, polka, uh... noise... K-pop... yeah, thatā€™s all I got right now. Honestly, K-pop is probably only here because I just havenā€™t gone to check out any songs, not because I actively donā€™t like the genre.
3. Do you own any band tees? >> Yeah, most of my t-shirts are band shirts.
4. Name some of your favorite male solo artists. >> Eddie Vedder, David Bowie, Steve Vai, Orville Peck, Sam Cooke.
5. Name some of your favorite female solo artists. >> Elle King, Sia, BeyoncƩ, Anita Baker, CƩline Dion.
6. Name some of your favorite boy-bands. >> Okay, so are we talking boy bands, like Backstreet Boys and One Direction, or just bands with dudes in them? Because I donā€™t really listen to boy bands anymore (aside from songs that I remember from childhood), so.
7. Name some of your favorite all-girl bands. >> Hmm... Iā€™m not sure I listen to any all-female bands. Thereā€™s some female-fronted bands in my library, but the rest of the members are dudes.
8. Name some of your favorite bands/groups in general. >> Oof. Hereā€™s five: Zeal & Ardor, Coheed & Cambria, Pearl Jam, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Volbeat.
9. Do you sing in the shower? >> Sometimes, if a song I know the lyrics to is playing. I listen to music every time I shower, it helps distract my hell brain.
10. Do you sing along with the radio in the car? >> I donā€™t sing along in the car because Sparrow has a thing about people singing.
11. Do you listen to music while you are cooking, filling out surveys, or cleaning the house? >> Sometimes I listen to music while taking surveys, but I donā€™t do it often because I find it too distracting. I do listen to music while cleaning, or taking walks, or doing any other task that mostly involves my body more than my brain.
12. Whatā€™s the name of the song that youā€™re listening to right now, if any? Whatā€™s the name of the band/singer? >> Iā€™m not listening to music.
13. What kinds of music do your parents listen to? Do you think that their music taste differs greatly? Whose music taste is better, in your opinion? >> I grew up listening to soul, R&B, gospel, that sort of thing. I still listen to that stuff because I enjoy it.
14. Do you ever listen to music without any words? >> Sure.
15. Are there any famous musicians that youā€™ve met? Are there any that you would like to meet? >> Yeah, Iā€™ve met uhh... Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed & Cambria, and Sevendust multiple times, as well as Halestorm, Steve Vai, three-quarters of Volbeat (lead singer wasnā€™t feeling great so he left the venue early)... yeah, I think thatā€™s it. I used to be really into that kind of thing, but Iā€™m largely over it now; I actually think it would be cool to see Sparrow meet Hozier, because sheā€™s not had that experience.
16. What was the first concert youā€™ve been to, if any? How about the last/most recent? Which, out of all of the concerts youā€™ve attended, was the best? >> First concert was Avenged Sevenfold and Coheed & Cambria (co-headliner tour), in Asbury Park, New Jersey, in April 2006. The last concert I went to was Hozier here in Grand Rapids, last year sometime. I think it was last year. :x My time sense is all fucked up. Anyway, Iā€™ve been to way too many concerts to start naming one as the best one ever, thatā€™s crazy. Most of the shows Iā€™ve been to were awesome as fuck (there were a couple ehhhh... ones, and then there was one I was way too high to enjoy lmao, but usually I have a great time).
17. Do you have a favorite movie soundtrack? What is it? >> I have a favourite movie soundtrack composer, actually, and thatā€™s Clint Mansell. Everything he does is just... AAAAAAAAA for me. I can always tell when heā€™s done a score because I can just feel the music in my bones, and then I look at the credits and Iā€™m like ā€œOH OF COURSE IT WAS YOU.ā€
18. Would you want to be a band groupie? Why or why not? >> I had a phase way back when where I was obsessed with groupie culture (from like the late sixties through the eighties) and if youā€™d asked me then, Iā€™d have said yes. Iā€™ve wised up by now and I definitely would not want that.
19. What is a band/singer you would like to see but havenā€™t gotten a chance to yet? >> Yeah, thereā€™s a lot of bands and singers like that. But Iā€™d have to be really picky nowadays about who I went to see, because I just canā€™t deal with most concert environments as well as I used to anymore.
20. Do you care more about the beat of the music you listen to, or the lyrics? >> I mean, when it comes to the first listen, itā€™s going to be the melody that catches me. If that doesnā€™t happen, then Iā€™m not even going to bother looking at the lyrics, so...
21. Does anyone in one of your favorite bands play an unusual instrument? >> I listen to some prog bands, so thereā€™s definitely some unusual instruments happening in at least some songs.
22. What are some of the songs that you listen to the most frequently? >> I donā€™t know, probably Master Boot Record and Zeal & Ardor tracks. Iā€™m a bit obsessed right now.
23. Could you make a playlist of songs that describes your life? What kinds of playlists do you have made? >> I donā€™t think so. Iā€™ve definitely tried in the past, but when you really start thinking about the vast array of experiences and feelings that make up a life, it becomes fuckin impossible.
24. Do you remember listening to music on CDs and cassettes, not just on the internet? >> Yeah. Definitely donā€™t miss it, gotta say.
25. What kind of music device do you use in order to listen to music? (iPod, MP3 Player, etc.) >> I use my phone or computer, with Spotify.
26. Is there anyone in your family who is a musician? >> ---
27. Would you ever consider a career in music? >> No. I love music, but as a consumer.
28. What is a song that would describe your current mood? Who is it by? >> Iā€™m not really in any kind of mood. If you know a song about being vaguely tired, then thatā€™s it.
29. Are there any musicians of the past that you really admire? >> Well, sure...
30. Do you listen to Top 40 type music? >> I donā€™t even know whatā€™s on the Top 40, so... maybe? Probably not, though, I havenā€™t really gotten into any mainstream-popular artists recently that I can think of.
31. What musical instrument would you like to learn how to play? Have you ever played an instrument before/taken lessons? What was it? >> I donā€™t really care to learn any instruments. Itā€™s not something I feel passionate about, not like how I feel about listening to music. Iā€™ve taken bass guitar lessons before, in like... 2008 or so? IDK. Years are fake.
32. Do you enjoy watching musicals on DVD or sitting through them as plays? Which method do you prefer, and which is your favorite? >> I would love to watch musicals live, but I definitely cannot afford it. Iā€™m fine watching recordings of them (or movie adaptations, in some cases). My favourite stage musical is Phantom of the Opera (I say ā€œstage musicalā€ because I also have a favourite movie musical, and thatā€™s Repo! the Genetic Opera).
33. What was the worst concert youā€™ve ever attended before, and what made it the worst? >> Taste of Chaos at Nassau Coliseum. It was the worst because arena shows are just the worst, period. I was right up in front (my friends and I camped out overnight) and I just got repeatedly slammed against the barricade and crowd-surfers landed on my head multiple times, et cetera. Iā€™m surprised I didnā€™t leave with actual injuries (was wondering if I was gonna need a neck brace by the end), but I did feel pretty damn shitty the next day.
34. Have you ever crowd-surfed during a show or been a part of a mosh pit? >> Nope.
35. Have you ever gotten into an altercation with a drunken concert fan before? What happened? >> Nah, everyone Iā€™ve met at shows have been pretty cool, if not downright awesome. Thatā€™s one thing I always loved about going to concerts, I seemed to make new friends every time.
36. Have you ever dated someone who was a musician? >> No, but Iā€™ve fucked a few.
37. What are some of your favorite music videos to watch? >> Oh, man, itā€™s getting late and while I could go ham on this question, I donā€™t have the time right now lol. Iā€™ll just say that I love nineties-era music videos, and some from the aughts as well. I feel like those were the best years for music videos, but that might just be nostalgia (and the fact that I havenā€™t really seen as many videos from the 2010s). As far as recent artists are concerned, I think Orville Peck makes really evocative and moody (not necessarily moody like pensive or depressive. mood-y. mood-evoking) videos that I appreciate.
38. Have you ever made a lyric video on YouTube? >> No.
39. Have you ever recorded a cover song and posted it? What kind of feedback did you receive? >> No.
40. Is there an album cover design that you really admire? >> Iā€™ve seen so many excellent album covers, I couldnā€™t even begin to address this.
41. What are some of the most overplayed songs right now, in your opinion? >> I wouldnā€™t know, I donā€™t listen to radio or anything.
42. Do you watch music awards shows on television? >> No.
43. Have you ever competed in any sort of singing contest before? >> No.
44. Have you ever tried to start your own band before? >> No.
45. Whatā€™s the name of a band/singer that you recently have discovered? >> Dreamcar (yet another Davey Havok side project, because he just canā€™t be tamed, apparently).
46. What are some annoying/weird/funny songs that have gotten stuck in your head before? >> Barbara Ann gets stuck in my head all the time, but thatā€™s okay because itā€™s fun and I love it.
47. Are there any songs that actually make you cry? What are they, and who are they by? >> There are many songs that make me cry. We ainā€™t got time for a list like that.
48. Do you listen to any music in another language? >> Sure. Off the top of my head, I can think of fave songs in German, Swedish, Japanese, Indian, and Italian. [a-zebra-is-a-striped-horse]

Get to Know the Writer - Tag Game
Rules: Answer the questions below, then tag nine people.
Hello, I got tagged by @Amyowl470, i don't consider myself a writer but this seemed fun to answer so, here i go!
Relationship status: Single! And not really looking for anything at the moment, i feel like i could talk a lot about this, but iā€™ll just leave it as: It isn't a priority of mine atm. I just don't feel like i have the time for that ^^
Favorite Color:.Black and pink all the way, I love this color combo in clothes, in websites, in decorationsā€¦ Idk these two colors are very appealing to me *shrug*
Top Three Favorite Ships: I gotta start with Rorschach and Nite owl, DanRor OTP Ā life bby xD I also really like Eddie brock and the Venom symbiote, or Symbrock I think it's being called, I used to be a lot into the Venom comics, so I ship this for a long time, i'm glad with the movie more people got into it <3 I'm sure I have more ships I like, but I can't really remember right now, maybe Spiderman/Venom? I used to be into it, I haven't read anything of them in a long time thoā€¦ I kinda want to mention self ships here, but iā€™ll leave those secret for now, youā€™ll have to get to know me to learn them ;)
Lipstick or ChapStick: Can I say none? I don't like wearing makeup, and I never liked the feel of chapstick, idk it makes me uncomfortable :V
Last Song: The Decemberist, Isn't it a lovely night? It's a song I sort of discovered when I let my youtube playlist autoplay for a while, it's a pretty song, makes me kinda sad tho? Gives me a weird feeling of nostalgia.
Last Movie: Aquaman, Its was pretty good, tho I wish it had more focus on the characters, everything seemed to happen so fastā€¦ But hey, Arthur and Orm where pretty hot, so I enjoyed that too xD
Last Book: This is a hard one, i haven't read much in a long while, I mean, iā€™ve read a lot in uni, but I wouldn't count those texts as something enjoyableā€¦ Iā€™ll mention ā€œThings fall Apartā€, by Chinua Achebe, had to read it in school, and iā€™ve wanted to re read it because it was so interesting. If my memory is right, its about pre colonial life in the south-eastern part of Nigeria and the arrival of the Europeans during the late nineteenth century, all told from the perspective of the locals, really interesting!
Currently Reading: The disaster Artist, I freaking love Tommy Wiseau movie, The Room, and iā€™m enjoying way too much reading about its making. I haven't been able to read much because of uni, but i cant way till break to continue reading it <3 Ā
Fanfiction: Oh man, iā€™ve read too many, and the current ones im reading are al reader inserts so i'm not mentioning them xD But i guess i could mention a few DanRor onesā€¦ Tiny Grains of Earth by etherati, its one of my faves, i have read it many times, i remember the first time not being able to stop because i was so into it, iā€™ll just paste the author's summary: ā€œRorschach is acting funny, not remembering things how he should, and is just inexplicably different. Dan gets paranoid, and seeks his real partner.ā€Ā Another one I really like is Letters from Prison by theunknownfate, very sweet, i think iā€™ve read this one multiple times too, again iā€™ll just leave the authors summary: ā€œWalter gets arrested, but manages to hide enough of his costume that no one knows he's Rorschach. He's just one of many nobodies in jail and has no choice but to serve out his sentence. With nothing to do and no way to get information, he starts writing his retired partner.ā€
Tagging: Oh man, the only person i know here already tagged me, so i dont have anyone to tag xD But hey, if anybody reads this and wants to join the fun, please do!
