me when people act like the prequel order was completely perfect and innocent and never did anything wrong, ever: *twitches with barely concealed rage*
like.
- the clones
- leaving Anakin's mum in slavery
- how they handled anakin
- letting Palpatine have unrestricted access to a child
- their moral absolutism
like. the prequels and original trilogy explicitly portray the Jedi order as flawed like I'm concerned for people's media literacy.

The clones were ordered by Palpatine, paid for by Dooku and taken by the Republic, not the Jedi. Further more do the movies present them as a moral issue?
That's specifically Qui-Gon. Unless you think the Jedi who make up under 1% of the population of the republic should personally invade a planet they have no power over.
There is little info about him growing up in the Jedi in canon. All we're shown is him getting info that all Jedi get. He knows what's right and can quote it, but refuses to follow through because he's selfish.
There's 0 canon info on this, some comics written 30 years later can't influence what the movies say
They were right. The dark side is a cancer, it's poison, it is written to be poison, and using it is 100% bad. That's how it was written on purpose.
You claim that media literacy is poor when the fact that the Jedi are the Jedi are
"They are the most moral of anybody in the galaxy."
is canon from George Lucas' mouth.
You are mired in trying to ignore the tragedy of the movies is that the Jedi are good, the Jedi are right, the Jedi are doing everything they can, but are betrayed by a man who is a mass murdering wife beater.
