You know... I only have vague osmotic knowledge of the Onceler, I've never actually seen the Lorax movie

Obviously I've read the book, but obviously that doesn't really have much to do with the Onceler that gets passed around on tumblr. Pretty sure he's basically just hands poking out of a window in the book

Anyway, my point is I'm more or less immune. Like I was there for at least part of it, or maybe the tail end, so I get the context, it just... it never had much to do with me, so people can Onceler away as far as I'm concerned

(Was thinking of that post where someone was saying they wished Bad Guy was out in 2014 or whenever it was, and when asked why they posted a pic of the Onceler, which made them say they wished they didn't have context and you get that "you put those glasses back on" Grinch panel... which is all very funny to me, but the context just will never bother me cause I'm immune to it)

#see the thing about 'making up words' is like... you just go with what feels right and then it's proper #and all I did was check if anyone else used osmotic already and then cause they had I defaulted to their spelling #but I was gonna use osmotic either way; it was just a question of if it was establish or if I was using it first #but doesn't matter either way; every word's a word so long as your grammar lets you use it #like in just groping for words to make up; not sure if imperialite is a word or not but I could totally make it a thing if it wasn't #something like a socialite in an imperial society; but it's obviously a workable word if I had a use for it #grobloginack isn't a word cause we don't have words like that in english #but we have words like imperialite so it's allowed #'is that a word?' it's a word if you want it to be; just start using it
