I wish I could just tell if someone genuinely wanted to be friends or if some elder told them to make friends w me to stop me from 'drifting away'
#bc that has happened to me in the past and after a while it becomes clear that they never wanted to be around you and they think youre#a bad person they ahouldnt be around#like ik at this point i shouldn't be friends w jw but ppl are v nice#and our convos sound like they could be just nice but it also goes pointedly into things that other jw complain to me about#so its like girl did you actually want to he around me or were you sent to 'fix' me?#bc i cant do friends like that again#exjw#ex jw#💬
