Been watching raocow play Banjo-Tooie and a bunch of BK/BT speedruns and it's making me yearn for Banjo-Threeie to be an actual thing.
#why didn't this happen#why do companies always wait 20+ years to continue a dormant IP#and play the HEY KIDS GUESS WHAT WE'RE BRINGING BACK AND HOPES MAKES US MONEY SO WE CAN KEEP THE IP ALIVE cards#good fucking lord why do they always DO THAT#i remember looking forward to banjo-threeie as a girl only to get nuts and bolts#which. i don't have an opinion on b/c i've never watched a playthrough of it#b/c one: ye gods what ARE THOSE DESIGNS#and two: it's a BK game but. it just doesn't feel like a BK game#and three: the whole nintendo-rare-xbox deal is a Huge Mess#so of course they had to figure out a way to reflect this in the BK world#and IIRC nuts and bolts made BK the most washed up versions of themselves#like i'm sorry but grunty's disembodied flesh-less skull has been floating around for TWO DECADES#when are we going to see her try to get back at the main duo and rhyme again w/o her sisters dunking on her for it?
