Applying for my Master's in gender studies kind of feels like shooting myself in the foot, but then again, it's not a useless discipline if it's being systematically censored and erased.

I'm making this presentation for my psych class on hormone therapy for trans teenagers. I was wondering if you knew of any scholarly articles that talk about the benefits of teenagers going through hormonal therapy. I'm having a hard time finding information, and was wondering if you knew anything on it. Thank you!!
Encircle House has several good presentations about research at their site in a very easy to consume format. I recommend checking out the one called “What About Gender?”
Springer Link is a good place to begin. Put in some key words and it will bring up scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols, reference works and proceedings.
You could search the NIH, they fund a massive amount of health-related research. They have a search engine called PubMed that accesses a database of research on life sciences and biomedical topics.
UC San Francisco has a site about Transgender Care. I’ve not gone through it all but it looks like it may have some promising info for you.
You could also try going to PFLAG or other LGBT organizations and check out their resources for trans people or what statistics & studies they cite in their publications.
I think Dr. Michelle Forcier is especially effective at putting research into layman’s terms. Do a search for her giving interviews or speaking.
Hope that helps and puts you on a path towards finding what you need.
