#this is so nice and sweet but i can't help but think id still just be a weird unhappy shut-in#don't even know which pokémon id have. because realistically. id worry about taking care of it

hey, that’s valid! i’m with you honestly, if i was being as realistic as possible, i’d be the npc that never leaves the house. maybe a bipedal pokemon to help with housework and that’s able to take care of itself as necessary? i think there’s a lot of pokemon out there that can be really independent in a human society

#replies #i think pokemon have a lot more self-preservation than real life pets tbh #like i'd probably be pretty bad at caring for my furret all the time #but maybe just having a little pet door leading outside would help :)#then it can go out and forage for food and get its exercise #but still get to come home and cuddle with me and have a nice safe shelter #there's probably more high-maintenance pokemon out there but just as many that can take care of themselves!#idk how you feel about lucario but maybe if it was raised as a service pokemon it would be a great help!
