While it's a popular headcanon, or seems to be at least, I do not think that Joker can be canonically considered to be albino, since his skin would be much paler than it is, otherwise. (To say nothing of the question of whether or not he has any visual impairments, which is a personal pet headcanon of mine, but is also not clearly confirmed either way.)

However, I do still think that it is an interesting idea to play with for an AU. It adds a tiny bit of an extra dimension to his nocturnal tendencies/lifestyle.

#Kaitou Joker #Mysterious Joker #((realistically speaking tho it'd still probably suck for him; the lack of melanin apparently causes a lot more problems-#than one might initially realize.#also imagine; albinism or not; if he naturally had a diurnal sleep schedule; I feel like canonically he always had a bit of a nocturnal ben #*bent. it lets me type the T but then cuts it off every time I try to save it. annoying.#so adjusting to that was probably fine; if his chipper attitude half the time is any indication #but if he was meant to be awake in the daytime and thus could not properly adjust; he'd always be having a Really bad time #doubly so if you throw the poor eyesight headcanon and albinism AU on top of it #Joker the frail sickly victorian child; who would very much rather be anything else #augh just remembered I tend to give him a weak immune system too; sometimes paired with disguised vitiligo #can't really have both in the albinism AU but I CAN still nerf his general health.#man I sure love to bully this particular orphan for some reason huh. what the actual fuck is wrong with me.#not much worse than reading between the lines of canon anyways; but Still))

I havent really been into the current state of the JJK manga for a while, im at the point where its ending might hold some value for me as someone who was already invested in the characters but largely aside from seeing how a few things pan out I just really really couldn't care less.

that being said I have to thank gege for every new chapter giving us more and more good looking Gojos. the more feral and covered in blood the better, and hoo boy am I getting that.

I've always thought Drink Link was meant to evoke Social Link? Because in Japan it was called #DRAMA. I was never the biggest fan because it's one of many "translations" in Y7 that are just changing something that was already in English and doesn't require cultural context to understand. Like IMO whether it's seen as an improvement or not, it's just not the localizers' job to "improve on" the original; let them be cringe and let them be free...
