I'm a bit confused by what the end goal of the "blockout" actually is given that I've seen many say that they're never going to unblock the celebs on these lists regardless of whether they start to talk about Palestine. Is the idea just to punish these celebs? I just don't see what the point of blocking them actually *is*

"He don't even remember the last time he had a crush let alone a relationship"
Anon either didn’t watch the interview but only saw bits of it on socmed, has comprehension issues or I watched a different interview.
He only said he doesn’t remember the last time he had a crush, the other half of anon’s claim is literally made up, he didn’t say that "let alone a relationship" part.
(+ The fact that he turned to the youngest guy in the SGMB to ask about what it’s like having a crush could even imply that he - like the rest of the band - were all the kinda stereotypical in-their-30s/almost-30-guys-already-in-a-long-term-relationship-type, hence why they had to ask the only young and single guy in the room. But don’t take this seriously it’s just how I personally understood it.)
He said (unless the subtitles are not accurate, my Korean is still not a sufficient level for me to understand without the subs) while the two albums were made around the same time, Face was about his emotions at the time, when Muse was more "vague". With Muse he was trying to reconnected with past emotions ("when’s the last time I felt this emotion?", "I really felt that way before?").
About WHO, he does relate it to feelings he and his friends all experience but it’s not even clear he’s talking about the search for love as the comment right after the subtitle mentions "emptiness". Logically, yes he could be referring to the first option but it’s not clear as they brushed it off quite quickly, and right after he and Namjoon seems to be talking about the style of singing he opted for more than the lyrics itself.
I loved that video concept with Namjoon but at the same time I found it frustrating because of all the the cuts and the editing. We’re losing many parts of the discussion, it’s not flowing very naturally so sometimes I didn’t even know what exactly they were referring to, if they’ve moved to a different topic. And it tells the absolute minimum about each song. I’d like to know more…
At the same time, Jimin was being Jimin. As he usually is when it comes to that kind of intimate/personal discussions. He never says much. He always stays pretty vague so it’s up to us to read between the lines and make our own interpretation.
Honestly maybe it’s just me but I after watching it twice I don’t see how anyone can draw any clear conclusion about Jimin’s love life from this interview and the Muse album. We can always speculate, for sure, in my opinion he doesn’t give any clue 🤷🏻‍♀️
i see your points for sure. it was very confusing when they talked about face and muse at the same time tbh. i had to go back several times and i'm still not sure i got everything about it. and not knowing korean annoys me especially in these cases😂i almost feel like muse is confusing to me as a whole because there's two parts to it, the 'crush' songs and then it goes onto who but maybe there could have been a song inbetween that talks about those crushes not being what he was really looking for, maybe to set the tone a bit more before we get into who? and how does closer than this fit into this picture as the last song/the song that comes after who?? like fine. it's a fan song. if we are looking at a story tho, it would go (fake) crushes -> looking for the one -> finding someone he lives (closer than this). so either jimin hasn't finished the story in his explanation or we are just meant to disregard closer than this 'just cause' it's a fan song? then why put it at the end? you could easily be delulu af and go with him finding the one at the end of the album if you wanna take closer than this into account. and even then some lyrics of closer than this are very very specific to the group so if he's really singing about one person and not fans, that person has to be in the group right sooooo is this another letter situation?😂see i'm really good at being delulu which wasn't the point of your ask so i'm sorry.
i do agree that jimin likes to be vague. but in are you sure and the minimonimusic video he kept asking 'is it okay to say this' so i'm thinking he wants to be more open with us now than he was in the past and he's a bit unsure but he's trying.
i guess i see you could argue the meaning of the album/songs either way and tbh it'd be helpful if we got a bit more about it maybe in another interview.

Hi, I’m not the original person who sent you that ask about the ‘ulzzang’ pictures, but I wanted to say something since I get what they’re saying. I’ve been reading your au and I liked it so far, but after reading what op said, I also understand what they mean. I don’t think op was trying to tell you not to use pictures at all, but there are definitely some aus that don’t use pictures that have the reader insert in them at all, so it’s not impossible. I don’t mean to sound mean, but you sounded sort of dismissive in your response, and not everyone can just ~imagine~ themselves when they see a picture that they can’t relate to in the slightest. I checked out the account op mentioned and that person has guides & examples as to how to be inclusive with socmed aus, plus I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a few aus on here from other people (the first example I can think of at the moment being loved. by wooyukh, I believe, though I’m not exactly sure so cmiiw) that are don’t use any photos of the reader directly. I understand a lot of people use those faceless pictures, but that’s exactly the issue if you think about it. So many people use photos like that, it’s to the point where people hear y/n and imagine someone else rather than themselves. Plus, it’s also partially the reason people request for appearance specific things (like black!readers, tall!readers, etc.). Anyways, I’m not trying to be rude, but I’m basically saying op has a point. Since Fiesta is already 23 chapters along, I wouldn’t ask you to redo the whole au either, but limiting the usage of those kinds of pictures and maybe taking note of this for future aus wouldn’t be so bad?
ok i get what ur trying to say and everything and im sorry i sounded dismissive? but i really dont think its a big deal 🙁 like ok i get not everyone looks like those ulzzangs/douyin girls and cant imagine themselves or something? well if i put a black screen saying imagine urself would it make a difference? i dont think so cuz its hard to imagine apparently? 💀 bye im sorry if i sound rude but i dont really get the point of this ask and the other one 90% of the smaus here use photos for y/n whether you look like them or not it doesnt really matter cuz at the end of the day its just a fanfic and its only for fun? ill try to be more inclusive ig but honestly i never mentioned the specific race, features or anything on y/n because it is a readers insert and im just using those ulzzang photos for reference? like that photo of “wonyoung and jungwon” at the cafe, it wasnt really them was it? i just put it there for reference, i just dont get the point, you dont have to look like the photos i put in to read the smau i only put them in there for reference to the pose the type of photos they took or like outfit or something and also im pretty sure everyone sees y/n as a different person atp like im pretty sure all “y/n” dont have the same personality as you 🤓 i just dont get why you would say stuff about the photos and finding it hard to imagine urself when im pretty sure all of these y/n/reader inserts have diff personalities to you, ill try to reduce the amount of photos i use for y/n tho if it bothers u sm
