but yes to Ray being Godot's lawyer!!!! I've had that headcanon WELLLLL before coming into this game just knowing vaguely Ray's whole deal

(I also headcanon Ray as the one who gave Phoenix Miles's information when he left. Like Phoenix just looks up the name Edgeworth, finds the law offices, and goes to ask about Miles and where he went and how he can get in contact with him--and Ray agrees cause heh this will be good for the kid probably to have some friend from the states bombard him with letters. I mean, how else would that boy find that information esp if he was trying to contact Miles before he came back to Japanifornia???)
