throwback to when i was like 12 and superrrr proud of myself for making my first male mc in order to be "more relatable" to more people bc like. that was the beginning of the end (me having trouble creating female ocs for actual years)

#luckily now. ~half a decade later. i've finally reverted to back to my pre-rodger self and it's like touhou in here #like excluding characters who boil down to being 'mara's shitty dad' or 'one of ereshkigal's servants' or 'a resurrection man edgar knows'#there are. 4 male characters in the ressurectionists. which makes 5 total non-women w dysmas.#and even if i do count all the minor recurring characters. that's 13. which makes 14 recurring non-women w dysmas. compared to 12 major #female characters (and by major i mean like. morana shi mara nine edgar dysmas level of major)#and i'm not even going to try and count characters like 'mara's coworker number 420' or 'abberline's secretary number 69'#like. that's a 4:1:12 ratio of guys:neither:girls #'but does it pass the bechdel test' well valdis tells shi to kill herself a few times so. probably #that's a joke if i had a dollar for everytime i wrote 'edgar listens as _ and _ discuss _' i'd be rich. usually _ number 1 is morana and #usually she's discussing necromancy #romeo.txt
