like even if lestat saved louis, even if he loved claudia, even if he was coerced to be a part of the trial and absolutely none of his contributions were given of his free will, you get that he should have killed himself. right? like he should have killed himself before allowing himself to be used to murder his daughter. like the fact that he broke script proves he had at least a modicum of free will and he should have used that time to do something productive, like killing himself
