Me, having finally reading the ending of Noragami, one of my favorite manga that I've been reading since I was fifteen, trying to process the resolution of the story and to find the right words to explain what I'm feeling: Wait they never explained the smell thing

#like early in the series it was pretty much assumed that hiyori could smell yato from miles away because she's half ayakashi #but by the end of the series she's not half ayakashi anymore. so how can she smell him from the tree jgjgkk #don't get mad at me i'm not trying to cinemasins the ending lol i know the ~real~ reason she can do that #is to show she likes LIKES yato and that's kinda the whole point of her having that ability in the series #i just genuinely wonder if in-universe by the end hiyori still has some of her abilities from when she was half ayakashi left in her?#although it would be really funny if the smell thing had nothing to do with her powers and she could always Just Do That #also. I finished noragami????? what the hELL. It's been almost ten years since I started it. insane time isn't real #noragami manga
