everyone talking about how 22 episode shows with lots of non-plot episodes are better tv............ no 😭 there are some shows that formula works for, and there are some shows much better suited for episodes that have a much tighter pace and storytelling and plot. the formula shouldn't be universal. not every show needs filler episodes. i genuinely think a lot of the nostalgia people have for filler episodes comes from people wanting more slice of life tv shows, and not filler itself.
