Hi there! May I request a headcanon for LL gang's reaction to seeing gn! Mc who's really flexible and good at street fightings or martial arts?

sage was ready to protect mc. he's a big guy,, a strong mercenary. but then mc is keeping up beside him in a bar fight and he ???? he's shocked but ? excited ? interested ?

asks to fight them in a friendly "loser buys the drinks" kind of way

won't complain if/when he loses because being pinned down or knocked on his ass by them is still a win (he'd ask them to teach a few moves as tricks up his sleeve though)

sage tries to flirt by moving to fix their stance with No Knowledge of what he's doing.

sage, reaching around them to be close, "i think your arms should be like this" mc quirking their brow, realizing what he's trying to do, "no, they are not. but very cute, sage."

so sorry to every flexible mc for the amount of times he raises and eyebrow and sends his Signature Smirk their way (as long as they're comfortable of course)

would genuinely be super impressed, even if it was just the splits—sage doesn't seem like an especially flexible guy.

mc asks "do you wanna try some stretches?" and sage, watching them easily do a leg hold, says "love you, don't think starting my journey in flexibility at 32 is a great idea."

honestly relieved when she finds them sparring with sage and keeping up

(also very happy to see them knock him down a few notches,, literally. probably laughs a little before clearing her throat and saying "good job, mc!")

there's a lot out there, especially when you're with the starsworn, so if they have experience with fighting that's some stress off her shoulders

would still like if they gained some practice with wielding a weapon, but at least if sage gets into a bar fight she knows they wouldn't be in complete danger by being around

something she'd enjoy is watching them do super cool tricks. like when people kick boards one after another, higher than the last kind of thing, and you're like Woah . or she asks them to show their most impressive pose/combo . that feels like anisa

i think she's at least a little flexible, touching the floor without bending your knees sort of flexible,, so she'd be glad to stretch with them. a little company never hurts and she can help make sure they don't hurt themself with the more advanced stuff

what are the chances the person he brings in from another world already has experience? (more than him??) he asks where they learned how to fight, especially after watching them knock out someone much larger than them

physical fighting has never been his forte, so if mc ever offered to teach him some moves after he helped them with magic ?? i call this symbiosis. mutualism, if you will

the day usually ends up with both of them a little exhausted but happy to have tried something new

he might not say it at first but he finds them In Action very attractive. eventually when he's more comfortable he'd learn to relax and smirk, complimenting them on their Work TM

if they're especially flexible,, turn your body into a pretzel kind of flexible,, felix seems like the kind of person who'd grimace/panic a little like "oh. Oh No what are you doing" but is ultimately in awe

might take up their offer to stretch as long as they let him do easier versions of Whatever they're doing. he stares in disbelief at anything that has to do with legs by their head or handstands

mc notices and asks "what?" but all he does is shake his head, "nothing. you just continue to amaze and terrify me."

listen. he didn't expect a lot from mc when he first saw them. "he doesn't like your character is because he feels like they can never live up to him" ok

so when he watches them fight tooth and nail when he expected them to trip over their own shoe? he's Intrigued to say the least

would be very shocked/entertained if they fought a little dirty because they definitely didn't learn that from felix or anisa, at least. real world street fighting experience am i right

definitely challenges them to a fight and doesn't go easy on them

if he wins he gloats, "looks like you still need more practice, hm?"

if he loses. (a bit of) a sore loser,, angry pouting and looking away while they help him off the ground but admits defeat

he looks like somebody who'd be pretty flexible so he takes a little more to be impressed, but as soon as they're bending backwards while in a splits he's done. like oh, you're that flexible.

when they're stretching he comes over and helps push them down a little further to really stretch . he'd also do partner stretches if they asked (tbh would bring it up to tease them but if they say yes then who's he to decline?)

I'm crying my eyes out, but let's think about Bakugou's side here for a moment ( who has now canonically never really thought about romance thanks to the new light novel )

So, imagine this takes place in their thurd year, when the stuff with Shigaraki, AFO and the LOV has already gone down. They survive and the kids learn to experience their young lives a bit more freely, allocating time to stuff beyond hero work.

And if Bakugou does something, attempting to be the best at everything, including slice of life. He gets a boyfriend and it's pretty nice. He gets along with the dude more than with the average person around him, they cook together, share secrets...

( And if Bakugou thinks about determined green eyes and freckles whenever the BF talks about wishing to be a hero before discovering he was quirkless, it's no one's business )

All's fine and good until Mina drags Bakugou into presenting them the BF. From there, things start developing for the worse. Nothing seems amiss initially. The class and the BF are friendly dorks together and they schedule some movie meetings.

Then Izuku stands him up for a training meeting.

Bakugou can't explain it, but this small action alone sends a red flag in his vision.

He doesn't notice how the BF insists on spending a bit more time together than before meeting the class or on joining him doing stuff with the class when he can.

But he sees Izuku. The dimmed brightness of his eyes, the way he avoids the crowd, how his individual training increases. It's subtle enough for only Bakugou to notice first and later unsubtle enough for the whole 3-A to sense this raging inferno.

Safe to say, Bakugou is pissed.

They meet up on Ground Beta, because of course they do. They may communicate better than ever ( Bakugou thought so at least ), but there's something in anticipating each other's moves and pondering their motives that only a good spar can give them.

They clash, Izuku wins and pins Katsuki to the ground like the latter did in their second fight and that's when Bakugou feels tears falling on his face from above.

The two beging to talk, or, better said, Bakugou demands an answer and straight up implores him: "For the love of All Might, be selfing for f*cking once, nerd", even if Izuku repeats on and on that he's a bad friend and getting in the way of Bakugou's happiness-

Bakugou pushes Izuku off him, extends a hand and they go to his room fast enough for Aizawa not to catch them again. He locks the door and says it plainly that they aren't leaving until ( metaphorical ) guts are spilled.

Izuku still has tears in his eyes and his voice tremors when he starts talking, however, his shaken up state doesn't compare with Bakugou's. He hears about the BF, about Izuku's attempt to 'let Kacchan breathe' as the boyfriend urged him to, and the message between the lines in Izuku's words.

Bakugou might have been confused for a long tims regarding Izuku's...being and beat himself up for falling for a boy who deserves better and would never look in his direction like that, but he isn't an idiot. On top of that, he understands Izuku like nobody else. He sees the reason, the emotion stirring underneath for both apparently.

It sends shock waves down his spine.

A few days later the BF is confronted. Hell breaks loose. Bakugou is pissed at him and is pissed the most about how he can see where he was coming from to an extent. Imagine your new boyfriend spending that much mental and emotional energy on his childhood friend who'd do the same for him, leaving him in the shadow. Safe to say, it'd suck...

They break it off on better terms than expected, although they keep in touch rarely. Bkdk, through this, reach a silent vow of waiting a bit to jump into this new territory they could explore together. They return with a previous routine with a much lighter, one might say flirtier, air and 2-3 months after Bakugou's break up, class 3-A find the Wonder Duo holding hands during a training exercise.

imagine bakugou getting a boyfriend and midoriya, who’s been in love with bakugou, is like “that’s fine. i’m fine. we’re fine ahahah” then he learns bakugou’s boyfriend is quirkless

and an overwhelming feeling of unfairness eats at him because

“why him, kacchan? why not me?”
