Sometimes I see people suggest bikes as an alternative to cars and I'm like "ah, another person who lives somewhere without hills or mountains"
#there's a reason that bike culture has taken off in places like Denmark and the Netherlands#but not in more mountainous countries like Norway#just saying#this is my biggest problem with east coaster trying to make policy for the whole country#like I'm so sorry Appalachia is the closest you've ever come to seeing mountains#but you can not reasonably expect west coasters to just bike rather than drive#stop fucking giving us infrastructure money and being like 'its for bikes!'#girl we are out here needing trolly money#I am too asthmatic to ride a bike up hill every morning to work#but these god damn east coast policy makers love to move here and put bike's on every corner rather than just pay for actual public transit
