everyone do you use the phrase 'shovel talk' in real life because I have never heard it before in my life until after college and then only within like fan spaces but idk maybe it's just not a thing I dealt with in my life and it's a really common thing to say irl

#like I know what it's referring to obvs but I've never heard that phrase used #I was actually just thinking of that scene where lxc goes to talk to wwx and it really does seem like he's just a concerned #prospective brother in law who wanted to help wwx and remind him he had people who loved him #it wasn't threatening in the slightest which is something I gather is kind of important to shovel talks?#he clearly has less patience in the novel for wwx bc of. a lot of reasons but in the drama they really do seem to get along really well #and I never got the sense lxc was frustrated with him or angry that he was leading lwj on #he just let them be and respected them for going at their own pace #I loved their little friendship #cor.txt
