#sleeper agent benny #lich-ter-ally there's just monsters there and some levianthan and benny was *supposed* to be a neutral agent but idk man #this feeds into a writer-friend of mine's *chuck's NPC theory tbh*#also fanon has poisoned me every time i read a benny transcript i'm astonished how cutting his dialogue is as opposed to syrupy saccharine #fanon benny dialogue reads almost like a crowley but meaning the pet names and it's so funny to me?#this guy was even kind of a dick in his cleverly hatched diversion with andrea (in a good way at first)#not that's i'm complaining fanfic is the place to do amazing shit like that!#i'm just saying it's always a bit of a surprise like who tf is this when i go back and see the canon guy like whiplash #also the fatalism in this guy is next-level *fascinating*#you my monster gf are a burning crater not a person anymore i destroyed you if you get mad at me for saying so it only proves your violence #in retrospect his later words to andrea makes the diversionary tactic a bit suss... like it subconsciously a little bit how he *felt*#about the whole sitch with andrea sleeping w/the top vamp #shit's beautifully complicated!
