I'm a really big fan of how much of Blitzø's design plays into the fact that he's kind of wearing a mask and how not very subtle this fact is. It's not a full mask, but it's enough to obscure and distort the "real" him.
Tumblr media
Something that's often really overlooked is that a core reason Blitzø often acts the way he does, the bravado he presents, is to hide and protect his feelings. It isn't anything uber-deep, but I think it's very obvious that underneath how he presents himself, all of that attitude, is just a sad kid that wants nothing more than to be loved and accepted, but doesn't believe who he truly is at his core is lovable, hence the mess.
And when you feel like you're so unlovable and so unworthy of affection, sometimes it's easier to be something else. If it's not really the most real and authentic version of you they end up hurting, but a version of yourself you present to cope, it doesn't make it painless, but it does stings less.

imagine Blitz thinks he's messing with his therapist and thinks he's "winning" but he didn't bargain on getting... her.
Tumblr media
he thinks he'll wear her down for sure, but she's like "oh no bitch, this is not my first infernal rodeo..."
"whoa whoa whoa, hold on lady, i thought therapists weren't supposed to come on to their clients??"
"that wouldn't be my first infernal rodeo either."
"...wait what?"
I'm fully convinced now that this is the reason Blitz referenced his therapist calling him gross:
Tumblr media
Someone (probably Millie) set him up with a therapy appointment, or multiple- because of his everything- and he agreed to go to humor his friend but spent the whole time messing with the poor therapist instead of . . . you know, talking through his issues. I'm talking false stories, sex jokes, murder jokes, the works.
Tumblr media
The rest of the quote here is "If we keep being obnoxious, they'll eventually slip up, and we'll get a chance to get out. Let's just keep fucking with them until they get so frustrated they stop thinking clearly-it usually works."
So what if this is the approach he took to therapy?
