Lexus Suspension Specialists: Keeping Your Drive Balanced
Tumblr media
When you slip into the driver's seat of a Lexus, you're not just embarking on a journey; you're entering a realm where engineering meets artistry. Every component, from the engine to the suspension, is meticulously crafted to deliver an unparalleled driving experience. Among these, the suspension system stands out as a silent conductor, orchestrating a symphony of comfort, stability, and performance.
Understanding the Lexus Suspension System
At the heart of every Lexus lies a sophisticated suspension system designed to glide over imperfections while maintaining impeccable stability. This system comprises various components, including shock absorbers, springs, control arms, and sway bars, all working in harmony to cushion the ride and provide responsive handling.
The Importance of Suspension Maintenance
Like any finely tuned instrument, the Lexus suspension system requires regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Over time, wear and tear can take a toll on its components, leading to diminished ride quality, increased road noise, and compromised safety. By staying proactive with suspension maintenance, Lexus owners can preserve the integrity of their vehicle's ride and handling characteristics.
Signs Your Suspension Needs Attention
Recognizing when your Lexus suspension requires attention is crucial for preserving its performance and safety. Here are some common signs that indicate potential issues:
Uneven Tire Wear: Excessive wear on the inner or outer edges of your tires can signal misalignment or suspension problems.
Bumpy Ride: If you notice an increase in vibrations or bumps while driving, it could indicate worn-out shocks or struts.
Swerving or Drifting: Difficulty maintaining control or a sensation of drifting while cornering suggests issues with suspension components.
Nose Diving or Rear Squatting: When braking or accelerating, if your Lexus noticeably dips forward or squats in the rear, it's a sign of suspension trouble.
Fluid Leaks: Any visible leaks around shock absorbers or struts indicate a need for immediate attention.
The Role of Lexus Suspension Specialists
When it comes to maintaining the intricate balance of your Lexus suspension, entrusting the care to specialists is paramount. Lexus suspension specialists possess the expertise, training, and access to genuine parts necessary to ensure your vehicle receives the highest standard of service.
Diagnostic Expertise: Pinpointing the Problem
One of the primary advantages of consulting a Lexus suspension specialist is their diagnostic proficiency. Through advanced techniques and equipment, they can accurately pinpoint the root cause of any suspension issues, saving you time and money in unnecessary repairs.
Precision Repairs: Restoring Performance
Whether it's replacing worn-out shocks, realigning control arms, or addressing fluid leaks, Lexus suspension specialists perform repairs with precision and attention to detail. By using genuine Lexus parts, they ensure compatibility and longevity, restoring your vehicle's performance to its original glory.
Customized Upgrades: Enhancing Performance
For Lexus enthusiasts seeking to elevate their driving experience further, suspension specialists offer customized upgrades tailored to individual preferences. From sport-tuned suspensions for enhanced cornering to adjustable coilovers for personalized ride comfort, these upgrades unlock new levels of performance and handling.
Routine Maintenance: Preserving Performance
In addition to repairs and upgrades, Lexus suspension specialists emphasize the importance of routine maintenance. Through scheduled inspections and preventative measures, they help Lexus owners prolong the lifespan of their suspension system, ensuring a smooth and balanced drive for years to come.
Conclusion: Elevating Your Lexus Experience
In the intricate dance between comfort and performance, the Lexus suspension system serves as a silent guardian, maintaining balance and harmony on every journey. By entrusting the care of your Lexus suspension to specialists dedicated to excellence, you can ensure that your drive remains as smooth and exhilarating as the day you first set foot behind the wheel. Let the Lexus suspension specialists keep your drive balanced, so you can focus on enjoying the road ahead.

Although the Pizza Hut brand still occupies parts of this world, it no longer stands for what it once did. You'll be hard-pressed to locate a sundae bar, glittery sticker dispenser, or red cups made of translucent acrylic – of which I can assure you were once "bottomless." The only thing left are the disaffected, stoned teenagers taking the orders. That, and the Personal Pan Pizza: more than any other, a symbol of North American culture.
In Italy, where hard-working chefs stole the idea for the pizza from visiting space aliens, they decided that a pizza should be shared. Sure, they are often capable of being eaten solo, and the owner of the restaurant would be extremely pleased if each member of your party slammed their own pizza down before ordering a flotilla of liquor, but the way they are enjoyed best is to give a couple slices to your friend. This means you have to compromise on toppings, of course, which is a concept alien to those of us raised on lifted Powerstrokes and fuzzy VHS tapes of air show disasters.
Not so with the Personal Pan Pizza – you get what you want, and to Hell with everyone else in the dining establishment. As well, Pizza Hut gets to charge a little extra margin on each pizza, their shareholders laughing all the way to the bank. You're happy, they're happy. Maybe the guy (your stepdad?) paying the bill at the end of the night isn't happy, but he can get a Personal of his very own.
Nowadays, this humble concept of individuality is becoming abandoned in favour of collectivism. No, don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those radical psychopaths who films TikTok videos about overthrowing the government from the front seat of his pickup truck. Pretty sure all those dudes got blown up by drones a couple weeks ago, and replaced by exact body duplicates grown in a lab. What I care about is being able to get a good paint colour on a new car.
Nowadays, everyone worries about resale value. Back then, nobody freaked out about choosing the optimal toppings to keep their lease payments low on their pizza; that would have been an insane thing to say. The pizza was for their enjoyment, and it was meant to be used up. Maybe the crusts got left behind and stolen by a rat. That rat is me. What I'm trying to say is: please order your new hybrid Lexus in bright green, so that I can drive it in thirty years. Don't be so selfish.

Go for a drive?
Tim Drake X Gn. Reader
Extra: Fluff, Fairly Suggestive. Established relationship, A meandering conversation with your bf as he takes you on a drive. Don’t be a Tim & Please drive safely!
WC: 2.1K
You were clutching at the shades Tim had chucked at you earlier; Desperately trying to keep them from flying off your face from the high-speed winds. The grey pavement was never-ending as the car Oh, excuse you as the ‘It’s a Lexus LFA 4.8liters v10 god this car’s a beast! Shame, that they only made so many before production ended’ roared down the Jersey countryside. The meter read 160mph, and climbing. With your death grip on the lens and arms of the shades, you turned to Timothy. “Do we really need the windows down?”
“Nope.” He rolled them up, while his right hand reached out in a grabby motion. Releasing your grip on the shades you linked your fingers with his cold ones. When Tim asked you to go on a drive with him you weren't expecting him to keep to the speed limit however, you did expect him to stay near Gotham. You should’ve expected the longer drive once he pulled up to your street with ‘his baby’.
“Sounds nice.” You commented after a couple of minutes of silent hand-holding.
“Doesn’t it!” He grinned, “It’s designed this way so that you can hear the v10 tone inside the car.” His obvious enthusiasm for the car was infectious! “Right now we’re listening to nine-thousand rpm! Uh that’s how fast the engine’s spinning it’s why the” He pauses suddenly face flushed, pretty blue eyes averted. “Sorry, I’m rambling.”
“No, it’s cute!” You insist. “I like hearing you talk about your interests even if some of this car stuff is kinda going over my head.” You squeeze his fingers, urging him to continue. His responding okay is small but he clears his throat to continue. His eyes shift to you briefly before crinkling at the corners when he faces the road.
“Right, I think that my favorite part about this car is how I got it.”
“Spill, what’d you do?” you tilt your legs, leaning your torso towards him like a sunflower.
“Nothing devious.” he rolls his eyes.
“That’s surprising knowing you.” You tease. “Didn’t win it by finding the key to the fifth dimension or something?”
“No, nothing that exciting.” He bit back a smile, happy that you're poking fun at his frankly ridiculous escapades. “Um, I was maybe fifteen when Bruce brought her home.” He ignored your giddy ‘her?’ with a huff. “Yes her, It was one of the last ones made and I wasn’t supposed to drive it, but you’ve seen her!? I just had to!”
“I took her out a couple of weeks later.” You felt the car slow, Tim’s hand briefly leaving yours to mess with the GPS.
        “With permission?”
His pink flush was enough of an answer. He clears his throat again, a little habit you’d begun to associate with him doing when he was feeling sheepish. “Well, Bruce did say I could use any car I wanted if an emergency presented itself.” You were dying to ask.
“What emergency?” You interrupted yet again. To be fair to you, you knew Tim would skim out details he thought were unimportant if you didn’t practically interrogate him.
“BatBurger’s limited addition Gotham Knights’ Nightwing toy…”
    “A battymeal!?” You laughed.
“Yeah, yeah laugh it up. The resale is about thirty thousand.” You choked on your laugh, eyes wide.
    “For a five-dollar meal toy?!”
“Mhmm. And mine still works. It was one of those toys that say phrases.” Out of your peripheral, you see a car pull out into the road in front of you. Tim slows. “So he still says “Let’s go Knights!” and “Strike out!” it doesn’t sound like Dick at all!” He chuckles. “The Knights were in the playoffs that year!.. And that year alone.”
You snort, eyes fixed on the road, still trying to glean where you're going. “I knew it was bound to be a novelty item one day. So, I just had to snatch it up, and if my car just so happened to be the only one with gas to get me there~”
     “Two birds one stone?”
“Two birds one stone.” He affirmed. “Alfred was picking up groceries that morning, Bruce was in a meeting and Dick was working at the BPD at the time.” Your eyes met once more before he continued. “And since it was early, that meant everyone else was occupied so I drove the sickest! car through the drive-thru that day. Unfortunately, I did get caught.”
     “Seriously?”
“Yup, Kevin’s dad was picking up some coffee right across the street, ‘said he recognized my hair when he blabbed to Bruce.”
    “Kevin?”
“Hudman, we used to play Wizards and Warriors together.” He rolled his eyes when you called him a nerd. “I’m pretty sure you said you loved me the other day so what does that say about you that you love a nerd?”
“That I have good taste” You saw his smile pull at his cheeks and decided to add. “So roleplay huh?”
“Get your head out of the gutter.”
“Oh, so you only like the tabletop role-play?” He groaned, cheeks pink as he narrowed his eyes at you.
   “You're lucky I’m driving.”
   “Kinky.”
“Are you gonna let me finish?” he sighed. You bit your lip at the wording, omitting words to nod while raising your eyebrows suggestively. He cleared his throat, brain catching up to his words “As I was saying, He called Bruce and I got in trouble. He didn’t let me knowingly touch the car for months. Then one day it was gone.” You felt the car turn down a new path, scattered farms and homes on either side of the road.
“Thought for sure he used it for a cover story but I looked through articles and no Lexy-” You cut him off once again.
“I’m sorry?! You did not name the car Lexy.”
“Don’t listen to her Lexy it’s a good name.” “Oh my god” “I checked the lower levels of the cave, nothing. I even asked Bruce and he said that he could’ve sworn Jason took it. So obviously I hunted him down”
He paused his tale to check the map. “We're almost there. So, I found him in Ibiza. He said he didn’t take it, but that Dick had mentioned something about "hot new wheels". I called him right there! On the beach and got the worst sunburn of my life. The third worst sunburn of my life. Regardless. I wanted to make sure. Dick didn’t have it. I was this close to losing it but that’s when B decided to take a spontaneous leave of absence. And I had to go back. Oh, here we are.”
He pulled into a semi-filled lot, at the center was an old building a decent line leading up to it. “Ice-cream? This far out?” You were skeptical.
“Wait till you try it~” His car drew more stares than the Tim Drake-Wayne. Said ‘Wayne’ taking your hand in his as he walked you to queue the line. You eyed the menu from your spot, nudging Tim with your elbow. “What happened next? You said you had to go back to Gotham?”
“Mm.” He replied. “He was gone for a while.”
“You missed him?” He squeezed your hand.
     “A bit.”
Tim’s arm settled across your shoulder as you waited, the sunlight glowing gold-orange as each person in the line received their icy treat. “Hey Joe, my usual, and what are you ordering honey?” You told ‘Joe’ your order, cuddling into Tim’s side as the cooling wind nipped at your nose. Tim chatted with the man, introduced you, and promised the man a ride during the time it took for him to make and hand over your ice cream,
You waved at Joe before hopping back into your seat. Peeking into his waffle bowl to see Nepoliation ice cream topped with a gooey-looking brownie. “You seem to know everyone.” He shrugged, his blank expression morphing into a concerned pout. You smirked watching as he struggled to figure out where best to place his bowl. “Just give it.”
“You sure?” You opened and closed your palm, and he handed it over with a quick thanks. Once the engine roared to life you were off again. Where? Tim had said both places were a surprise. You hummed while you lapped at your ice cream, Tim fiddling with the buttons on the wheel. He shot you an apologetic look as he pulled out his phone to drive one-handed.
“If we die I’m going to kill you.”
“We’re not gonna die, and your hands are full.” He protested. “I have a playlist.”
“Great so my death will have a soundtrack.” You paused. “Oh my god did we drive all that with no music!?” Were you that into him? Oh. You felt your cheeks warm glad for the music notes that left the speaker. Only that- “Wait? So where was the car in all of this?”
“Well, apparently he had Clark move it.” “Huh?” “Yeah! Caught me off guard too, When he came back I told you how he adopted me. And then not long after, Damian turned up and everything got hectic.” His knuckles were white against the steering wheel. “The cave blew up and I wasn’t even thinking of the car. I think it was years later when I thought of it again, saw one at a show. I figured that it was still down there in pieces.”
    “But Clark had it?”
“Getting there baby, It was my twenty-first birthday. Legal to drink and I know that’s why he gave it to me on that day.” Tim was smiling glancing off to the side mirror before making another turn. “It was Dick’s idea to wrap the car in car shape. I was really excited! At first, I thought it was a different car. But the air freshener was still the same. My name on the little tree!” Your cheeks hurt from your smile. “Bruce told Clark to hide it. Still can’t believe it!
“That’s so sweet.” Tim ducked his head a bit, ears rosy. “So your favorite part is that it was a surprise or a gift?”
     “Both,” He hummed.
“Hm.” You looked down to your ice cream and then eyed his bowl. “Your ice cream is melting.”
“Shoot! Uh, Feed me?” You sputtered, floundering for a bit before sighing, face hot as you mumbled a strained sure. You still haven’t figured out how he distinguishes what he considers embarrassing. You lifted the plastic spoon to his lips watching with amusement as he twisted his mouth to eat. Tame Impala played in the background when he turned down what looked like an abandoned road.
“I’ve got it from here,” He said around the spoon as he drove up to the precipice. You let him turn off the engine before handing him his bowl, turning back to finish yours.
      “So where are we?”
“We are currently sitting at the best place to watch the meteor shower in all of Jersey.”
      “That’s today?”
“Yes. At least I’m pretty sure it’s today. I made sure to double-check to see if anything was gonna throw them off their planned orbit.” He turned to his watch. “Yup should be good, in about an hour or two.” He tipped the bowl up to his lips to drink the remains of the ice cream.
      “An hour or two?”
“Maybe two..” He began to chew at the sides of his bowl.
      “Tim.” You pressed.
“We’re a bit early.” You rolled your eyes. “I timed it right, we were only supposed to wait about thirty minutes?!”
“Tim, Darling” He frowned at your tone. “Did you account for your speeding?” His wide-eyed stare was as cute as it was frustrating. “So what we just sit here?”
Tim looked out the driver's side window, the overgrown grass giving him pause in asking you to take a stroll. He mulled over his options as you finished up your ice cream, pink tongue peaking out to catch all traces of the sticky treat from your lips. You perceived his stare, his heavy lids narrowed down towards your lips. “We could do something else.”
      “Like what?”
“Maybe..." He pulled his seat as far back as it went, dark eyes locked onto your form. "You can come over here and find out~”
“In the Lexus LFA 4.8liters v10?! Timothy!" You gasped, mock scandalization dripping from your tone, your hands quickly undoing your seatbelt. Your body practically materializes onto the driver's seat, your weight settling against Tim. You feel more than you hear Tim’s 'harumph' and you can’t stop your grin against his lips as you ask just for kicks “In Lexy?!”

Birds of a feather, we should stick together
Tumblr media
Jessie Fleming x reader
-A part of the future prodigy series
A/N: Another Jessie fic. No big triggers. Fluff.
The bliss of a particularly hot summer morning in London was lingering in the warm air. You watched your daughter in the rear view mirror of your Lexus. Watching her was like watching your sister as a child, the resemblance was chilling. Your thoughts had been as chaotic as the first day of a snowstorm in New York. Would your sister approve of this? You had done everything in your power to take care of Clara. You knew that Clara loved Jessie. Your parents loved Jessie. But how could you know if your late sister would’ve loved her?
Today you were heading over to Jessie’s new house that she had purchased a few months ago. Or, rather your new familyhome. It had happened quite fast; one night you and Jessie had gotten wine drunk on a bottle of rosé and Jessie ended up suggesting moving in together. You thought she was crazy; how would a young woman that was on a high if her career want a single mother and her daughter? But Jessie had convinced you and she had decided that you both had too small apartments to raise your daughter in, and Jessie wanted Clara to have her own room with a big garden to play in. For most people, Clara was a shy 4 year old. For you and Jessie, Clara was a chirpy little 4 year old with the biggest fomo. She loved observing, thinking and wondering about the mysteries of life. You had talked to Clara about moving in with Jessie and that she was allowed to say no, but Clara had always been happy about it. Jessie had been quite the sport about the process, wanting to have everything ready before you moved in so that Clara felt safe and that there wouldn’t be any immediate changes after moving in. After all, Clara had a lot of trauma and her anxiety that needed to be accounted for. That lead you to today, the day where you were bringing your daughter over to your new family home.
“Mommy, are we there yet?” Clara asked curiously while her little eyes were scanning in the houses around the street you were driving in. Her hair moving with the wind coming from the half opened window. “Soon baby, how do you feel?” You asked while you took a left turn on the road. “Happy, but mommy, do you think Clara wants to play football with me?” The question made you smile even though Clara practically whispered the last part. When she brushed off her feelings, you knew that she felt safe and good. “I know that Jessie would love to play football with you” you said as you spotted the beautiful driveway with greenery and trees. Clara smiled in the back as she held a steady grip on her teddy. You pulled up to the double garage and parked next to Jessie’s car. It made you smile as it reminded you of when Jessie had insisted on getting a car seat for Clara just weeks after she had met her. You had told her that you could purchase one for Jessie’s car, but Jessie had been adamant about being in this for the long haul. “Ma, it’s Jessie” Clara squealed as she saw Jessie standing by the double doors. Jessie waved to Clara and Clara and waved enthusiastically right back. “Mommy, mommy! It’s Jessie!” Clara squealed again as you turned around to face your daughter. “Yes princess, it is Jessie” you smiled when you noticed the huge smile on Clara’s little face.
You hopped out to get your daughter from her seat, but Jessie beat you to it. Clara was wearing her Canada jersey picked out by nobody but herself with a pink skirt. “Jessie!” Clara chirped as she was playfully tossed in the air. “Is it my favourite girl in the whole wide world? Coming to see her new house, yeah?” Jessie asked and Clara nodded in response. “Yes, my biggestest special house!” The interaction melted your heart in only a way a child could. Clara really loved Jessie with all her little heart. Clara was excited to see her room. You hadn’t really had a garden or a house before considering life as a single mother in London with a 4 year old was expensive. But Jessie didn’t care, she had taken you to tons of viewings until she found the house that she wanted the three of you to live in. She had settled on this gorgeous white house with a big beautiful garden and she had made sure to have professionals install a playground for Clara. Clara was slowly becoming the centre of her world, and you loved it. «Lets go see your new house, Princess!» Jessie said as she put Clara down. Clara immediately sprinted towards the front door while she laughed. Jessie looked towards you, grabbed your hand, pulled you close and whispered “Welcome home baby” before kissing your hand.
When you walked in, the house was finished like you had planned on. Everything from the placing of the couch to the pictures that had been put up. Jessie had made sure that everything you both had written down was perfect, and when Clara was away with her Grandparents for the weekend; you had gotten together and done the last work on the house. “Are you ready Claramell?” Jessie asked as her hand rested on the door handle in the hallway. “Yes, Jessie! I am, I promise I am” Clara giggled as she tucked herself into Jessie’s side. “Let’s go see your new house princess” and with that the exploring of this new home begun.
“This is the kitchen” Jessie said as you followed Clara who had practically run into the room. Clara’s eyes scanned around the room while analysing all the little details. “Come here, let me show you something” you said to Clara as you walked to the big island. You pressed on a drawer and a microwave came out of it. It was a little microwave drawer created so that kids could reach it. Clara studied it as her tiny hands fiddled with the drawer pushing it in and out a couple of times before she nodded. “Can we use it to make pizza bites?” Clara said as she looked into the drawer. “Yes, you can have all the pizza bites you want pretty girl” you said as Clara giggled. She looked around the room before she headed over to the dining table. “Are we gonna have dinner here mommy?” She asked as she climbed up to the chair and onto the table so she could look out the window. “Yes, we are gonna have dinner her as a family here every night” you confirmed. She frowned «oh» she mumbled clearly disappointed. “What’s on your mind Clarabear?” Jessie said as she picked Clara up from the table and held her. “I thought maybe we could sometimes eat in the garden like at grandma’s” You looked at Jessie with a huge grin, this little girl of yours was so well spoken. “Yes, we can eat outside! And I promise, we can even eat in front of the tv sometimes, but don’t tell mommy” Jessie whispered the last part as she winked to Clara who lit up light a Christmas tree.
Clara had found the toy kitchen in the living room and was busy making tea and biscuits for Jessie. It made you giggle, especially when Clara told Jessie that her card had declined. Clara suddenly stopped in her tracks like a deer in headlights when she saw the grand staircase. It was like she had never seen a staircase before, except she had. “What’s up doll?” You asked as you reached for your daughter’s hand. Her big brown eyes were glancing up at the staircase. “What’s that?” Clara whispered as she pulled herself close into you. Jessie scooted closer to the pair of you and tucked Clara’s brown hair behind her ear. “That’s a staircase, it leads to the second floor where your bedroom is and mommy’s bedroom is. Do you want to come check it out?” Jessie asked as Clara’s eyes still hadn’t left the staircase. Her nervousness breaking through in form of biting her pointer. She gently nodded as she grabbed Jessie’s hand tight, still feeling a bit insecure about the thought of living in a two story house.
“Big bed” Clara said her eyes widened at the sight of your and Jessie’s bed. Jessie nodded as she put the tiny girl down on the bed while holding her hands, Clara immediately started jumping like a little money while squealing. Jessie laughed with her and after 4 bounces she jumped straight into Jessie’s arms. The laughter calmed down with Clara laying her head on Jessie’s shoulder.
The moment was interrupted as Clara was looking around when her face formed a confused grin. “Jessie, where’s my bed?” Clara questioned. “You get your very own big girl room with your own big girl bed and your own big girl covers” Jessie announced excitedly. “Jessie has spent a lot of time on making your big girl room Clare” you said as you leaned into the doorframe. Jessie walked with Clara in her arms across the hallway and put Clara down infront of her room. On her door, there a beautifully painted sign was hung up with “Clara” on it in pink. “This is your room, Clarabear” Jessie said as she tapped the door. Clara’s hand touched the doorhandle to open it, and she pushed the door open. Her tiny eyes looked like they were about to fall out of her head. She stepped inside completely speechless while you and Jessie followed close behind. The room was big and had a natural calmness to it. The windows were rather big, and you could see the beautifully fenced garden behind the house. The curtains were hung from the top of the wall all the way down to the floor. The walls were painted in a soft beige color expect from one wall who was painted in a muted pink tone. There was a pink bed in the corner with a pink bed canopy over it to create a safe space for Clara. In one of the corners of her room were all her toys in a set up of playboxes. There was a brand new dollhouse next to the boxes with ponies and little people in it. All her favourite Barbies were lined up next to each other and there was a small ball pit.
Clara walked around the room and touched things. Jessie looked concerned. “Give her a second” you whispered. She saw her dinosaurs. She touched her carpet as she walked across the room, the same carpet from home that she got from her parents before the accident. She walked around with stars in her eyes. There were pictures on the wall of herself, her family, her grandparents, her parents, and the three of you on the pitch after Clara’s first game watching Jessie. She walked towards the bed where she looked at the bedding. It was her favourite princess; Aurora. She sat down on her bed just looking at the room. Jessie looked over to her and smiled. “How do you feel about it? We can paint it or buy new toys or maybe new furniture?” Jessie suggested. Clara shook her head before tearing up. Jessie looked panicked for a second, but you recognised the happy tears from a mile away. Clara stood up and launched herself at Jessie. “I love my big girl room, thank you Jessie” she sniffled. Jessie picked her up and hugged her tight feeling as grateful as ever.
Something about the small one bedroom apartment that you had shared her whole life was comforting and intimate. This new house was big, and it felt empty. But the emptiness was about to be filled with memories of bliss, football in the garden, late dinners, laughter, friends coming over, early breakfasts and first day’s of school. The bliss of a childhood was like a seed that had been planted within the walls of this house. This didn’t just mark the start of something new; it marked the start of the rest of your lives.

what cars i believe the batfamily drives. my only qualifications are that i work in an auto parts retailer. this is purely based off vibes realistically they probably all drive teslas.
dick drives an early 2000s toyota corolla that he loves to death. he refuses to get a new car until this one dies. (which will be never because it’s a toyota)
jason in my head doesn’t have a car license but if he did drive a car it would be a toyota hilux or ford raptor ranger.
tim drives a newish hyundai i30 or a mazda2. idk why but in my head he drives a cute little hatchback.
cass definitely drives a slick black sedan. maybe a lexus or a mazda6.
steph drives a sedan honda civic because i’ve never met a civic owner that wasn’t girly pop or a upper class asian man.
duke either drives a kia rio OR a mitsubishi lancer OR an older model RAV4.
damian when he gets his first car it’s gonna be a mercedes or a bmw. probably a hatchback or sedan. i’m not sure of model tho.
bruce drives a either a audi, lexus or mercedes. maybe he has one of each. they’re probably all sedans and then he owns like one SUV.

“please leave a comment if you want a second part!”
AS IF WE’D EVER SAY NO. PLS BLESS W A PART TWO🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Tumblr media
pairing: lewis hamilton x femalereader
summary: lewis gives you secretly his number. you're hesitant to call him at first, but when you do, things get a little much more interesting.
warnings: cursing words, sexual thoughts
(a/n): here's the previous part 1! Here's the next and last one, part 3!
Tumblr media
BLINDING FLASHING lights appeared, and glancing out of the window, you very discreet (not at all) black car parking just at the entrance of your apartment. A few moments later, horn sounds reached your ear, making your stomach swirl nervously around.
Were you really doing this?
"Live some adventure," the voice of your best friend mumbled into your mind, reminding you that sometimes you get to have some fun in order to forget work and responsibilities.
You chose to wear a pink, sliky dress that felt perfect on your curves and skin.
You grabbed your white purse and rushed out, locking the door behind you.
You weren't brave enough to look directly at the car once you were out, but when you turned around to walk towards it, a figure had already stepped out of it.
Lewis' dark eyes rised and then he took a double look at you. Then smiled.
"Hey, love," Lewis mumbled as he came in front of you, and you could swear that his lips had landed to your glossy lips for a brief moment, which by the way seemed like an eternity to you.
"Hey," you smiled widely. (Brushing your teeth almost 10 times before the date was surely tiring, so you had to show off your perfectly white smile, right?)
"You look..." Lewis scanned you from head to toes momentarily. "Ravishing."
A small laughter escaped from your lips. "I love your vocabulary."
"Oh, thank you, love," he gently grabbed your hand and helped you down the stairs. He was swearing a total white outfit, complimenting his tanned skin and making his multiple tattoos stand out more.
Your best friend was totally right. You didn't know if Greek Gods were actually real, but if they were, one of them had to had his name.
Lewis Hamilton.
He opened the door for you, and when you entered, murmuring a small 'thank you', he shut it gently and moved around the car to reach the other door.
The car was fabulously luxurious and looked ridiculously like its owner. Pretty, deluxe and fancy, and surely fast as hell.
The other door closed, and Lewis' masculine aroma filled your nostrils brutally. You couldn't exactly place the brand of the perfume, but it was something like a masculine mixture of heaven and perfection.
"Do you like fast cars?" Lewis asked, fastening his belt.
"Um, I own a grumpy Lexus that even my 11-year-old nephew could beat in a race." You joked, and he immediately burst into laughter. It was rather inevitable to smile back. "It's not that I don't like speed... it's just that... I'm kind of scared."
"Scared?" Lewis asked, raising his dark eyebrows in curiosity.
"Not for me, of course." You said. "I'm too young to rot into prison because of driving over a dozen of people."
Lewis smiled. "Well, I think you're just with the right person." He spoke, and the engine growled furiously as it came to life.
"Hey, this car is truly awesome, you know," you scratched the bare skin of your exposed thigh, and oh, holy shit, Lewis peered at it for a moment that stretched for what seemed like, FOREVER.
"Yeah, I know," He caressed the steering wheel. "I should name her. Any good ideas?"
You bit your bottom lip, fighting the urge to suggest your name.
"I need something that sounds elegant and pretty." He clarified and turned to face you.
His eyes burned on your skin as you gazed out of the window, hoping that his stare would cease being that intense and fuckable.
"What about Bella or Alice?" You suggested, bringing into mind your sister's twins.
Lewis seemed to think about it for a second. "Nah, too basic." He spoke a few moments later. "I'm sure you'll have a better suggestion until the end of the night."
Tumblr media
The car stopped moving, and you got rid of your seat belt.
The ride was full of side intense glances, awfully hot compliments of his that drove you to insanity, and lots, lots of flirting.
"Is this your only car apart from the F1 one?" You asked as he opened the door for you to step out.
A true gentleman.
"No," he said. "Just one of 'em."
You turned around, and a massive building fulled your vision. It was a huge mansion that screamed mafia-boss-on-wattpad, and made your knees feel weak.
You waited for him in order to start strolling towards the house, but when he stepped next to you, his hand gently found yours and wrapped tightly around it.
You looked at your intertwined fingers, and he smiled. "My house has a ridiculously big amount of stairs. I don't want you falling from date one, do I?" He joked. If the tension of the eye contact was palpable, then physical touch was going to be the very end of you.
"So... I suppose you don't like holding my hand, right? It's all about safety." You fake rolled your eyes at the last sentence and hoped he noticed.
"Don't expose me like that, love." Lewis said, his British accent bold and alive.
When you got inside, you almost fainted and permanently lost your vision. Everything was cleaned to perfection. You could practically utilize the floor as a mirror to see if your pink dress was well-ironed.
"Do you like it?" Lewis asked, abandoning his car keys on a counter.
"Nah, too shiny and pretty." You joked.
"Yeah, just like you." He responded from behind, and your cheeks changed a pallette of five different shades of red.
You turned to face him directly. "I love it."
He smiled and walked towards a miny bar next to a massive kitchen. You noticed that his intoxicating cologne had been replaced by the smell of freshly cooked food. Looking a few feet away, mouth-watering food was placed on a dinner table.
He cooked?
"Red or white wine?" Lewis asked, interrupting your thoughts.
"Red." You replied. "But I swear, I'm a Mercedes fan."
He laughed and grabbed a bottle, reading something oj it at first. Then, he opened it and walked towards the dinner table, placing it on it.
He dragged one chair and let you sit.
When he did too, you chose to ask, "Where's Roscoe?"
"To a friend's," he replied. "I left him there because I didn't know if you liked dogs."
"You sent him away because of me?" You laughed. "Everyone loves dogs!"
He let out a breath before stating, "I didn't want you to be uncomfortable."
You shrugged. "It's fine. I just... I wanted to meet him. I think he's cute."
Lewis filled your empty glass with tasteful red liquid. "Good for me. Seems like I'm inviting you to dinner till you meet him." He said, innocently looking away.
Fuck.
This man was going to be the end of you.

HELP ME ESCAPE CALIFORNIA!!!
So I've been hesitant to talk about this on the socials, but I'm getting desperate. My parents are conservative Christians and my dad is starting to get more extreme and delusional in his beliefs and I'm genuinely afraid of what he'd do if he found out I was bisexual and have secretly had a girlfriend for two years. I feel so much more relaxed and mentally stable when I don't have to hide such a big part of who I am and how I feel about the most important person in my life.
The transmission in my car picked the worst time to break down on me and I need to get it fixed as soon as possible. It's a 2001 Lexus so as well as needing already hard to find parts, those parts are also fucking expensive. I'm hoping to get by just rebuilding the transmission, which while still pricey, is far less expensive than fully replacing it.
I also need to get my cats fixed as soon as possible. Link needs to be neutered, and Lucy needs to be spayed. Of course she had to wait until right after I made the appointment to get their initial physicals to get pregnant, so it's gonna take a while longer to get her fixed.
I'm willing to offer commissions in exchange for certain donation amounts. You can get multiple commission pieces for larger donations, details can be discussed in the DMs.
My goal is to move out before the end of August. Any and all help is appreciated.

I watched my first episode of Top Gear with my buddy Ken Copelin at his apartment near Fort Carson. He was our platoons designated driver and a solid guy. As I went to sleep cuddling his dog on her bed, drunk as fuck on a Friday, we watched the Lexus LFA episode.
I didn’t realize how big a part of my life that show would become, and how it would help me recover from the Afghanistan deployment. While deployed I drove 55k miles in my Land Cruiser and rode 55k miles in an MATV. I had loved driving my entire life but when I got back it just enraged and terrified me. To add insult to PTS symptoms, the Army denied my Driver’s Badge because we were on a ‘somewhat secretive’ mission and my vehicle was rented from the locals.
I didn’t lose an arm or a leg, but something that I had previously loved was now horrific to me. I got some therapy, recovered slightly, and tried to move on. I couldn’t enjoy a road trip and any trip in the car made me furious. After I separated from the Army I told myself I would conquer this fear and fall back in love with driving. I started driving for Uber, and tbh it was not comfortable.
I could suppress my PTS symptoms on the road for a few hours at a time, and it still felt like torture. The Texans in Colorado Springs must have all attended Muhammad’s VBIED academy in Texas before moving to my town. It was horrible. And then I started watching Top Gear.
I started fixating on vehicle makes and models, and the sensations I felt in my body as I drove, like they taught me in Army Therapy. I engaged in sensory perception therapy. I felt the road beneath my tires and learned every tiny detail about my Jeep WK. I started chasing the coveted 4.9 driver rating, and cherry picking long, calm, profitable rides.
But every night I’d go home and blaze down a few joints and watch the boys on the BBC, telling myself that I could be a professional driver. I still don’t enjoy a long road trip, but I made it through that phase of my life. Through my 8 months of civilian professional driving I proved to myself that I could reclaim something I had lost in the war. And I could not have done it without the help of Top Gear.

The dull hum of fluorescent lights filled the cramped room, casting a clinical glow over the surroundings.
Xander was slouched against the cool metal of his chair. His gaze was fixed on the lone clock hung on the wall; his fingers drummed against the table in time with the seconds ticking by. It was nearing 6 AM. Soon his phone would buzz with text after text from Gemma inquiring over his whereabouts.
Not that he would be able to read them.
He’d been sitting there for the better part of an hour – waiting. His personal belongings had been taken before he was unceremoniously thrust into the interrogation room with a gruff A detective will be in shortly sent his way.
If he were a sane man, he would feel nervous. He’d been caught unaware. Found in a stolen car at a drop-off location with his backpack filled with incriminating evidence.
But he was relaxed. His head lolled back, and his eyes closed – yielding to the exhaustion he felt.
Tired eyes peaked open as the door swung to reveal a detective on the other side. He walked in and sat himself across the table in the only available chair. Xander slowly lifted his head and straightened in the seat; the metal of his chair scraped loudly against the linoleum floor as he shifted forward.
The detective sighed and popped open the folder in front of him before clearing his throat. “Let’s start from the beginning, Alex,” Detective Bishop began, his voice low and authoritative. “Tell me what happened.”
Xander’s gaze flickered between Detective Bishop and the two-way mirror behind him, his reflection cloaked in indifference. “Like I already told the officers,” Xander muttered and raised his shoulders in a shrug. “This is just a misunderstanding. Classic case of wrong place, wrong time.”
The detective leaned forward; gaze fixed on Xander and his expression unyielding. “You were found inside of a silver Lexus. Officer Danes made contact with the registered owner who verified it was stolen sometime after they returned home – around 1 AM.”
“I was walking by and I saw it parked there. The door was wide open, and no one was around so I got in to see what was up,” Xander explained slowly, his tone measured. “I didn’t know curiosity was a crime.”
“So, you were just a concerned citizen,” Detective Bishop offered in faux understanding. Xander nodded his head in agreement, muttering a quick “Yeah, yeah – exactly.”
“Tell me, do you normally carry around a bunch of key fobs?” The detective's voice trailed off as his eyes skimmed over the details outlined on the sheet. “And it says here you had various tools on you?”
“I’m a mechanic,” Xander countered. “I always have tools on me.”
“You had what appears to be a signal manipulator,” Detective Bishop interrupted, his tone rising in volume to drown out Xander’s explanation. “Is that a normal tool for a mechanic to use?”
Xander’s mouth opened to answer, but the detective quickly cut him off. “If you ask me, none of this looks good for you, Alex.”
Silence filled the room.
Xander hesitated. His eyes narrowed slightly for a beat before he finally grinned and leaned forward. Detective Bishop raised an eyebrow, prompting Xander to speak. “I think it’s time I talked to a lawyer,” Xander uttered with a laugh. He leveled the detective with a stare – questioning. “I get a phone call, right?”
The detective gave him a second look before standing. With a brief nod of his head, he headed out of the interrogation room leaving Xander in the quiet once more.
+
“Hello?”
Xander sighed.
“Hey, uhhh… it’s Xander. I don’t have a lot of time, but can you be a good brother-in-law and break it to Bea that I need her to call up that lawyer we know? And uhhh… you think you can get to a bank? I might need some bail money.”
