Sinner still had the ability to pull his leg back when i pinch his toes, but he won't get up and he's not interested in water. I'll hole him up in a carrier for a night or two so that he can reach what he needs, monitor his ability to poop, and put him out of his misery if he doesn't show signs of getting better.

I had FOUR does bred to him, but I'm really not sure three of them took. I doubt my ability to palate anymore, though, because i get litters so infrequently.

#it's a really good thing I brought home three new bucks this month #even though two are babies and I'm not sure they'll be herd buck material #thing is ... people don't get animals break their backs to the frequency I do #at least that's the way it feels #and since he HAS feeling in his foot I'm not sure that's the case #let's see an ARA criticize me for not taking my rabbit to the vet when I absolutely know more than a general vet does about rabbits #and I sure a fuck ain't paying hundreds of dollars for a rabbit #even an expensive show rabbit #I still have a sister a brother a mother and a father #even though his sire IS six this year and I wanted him to retire #but in Sinner's case? if he doesn't regain the ability to move #putting him out of his misery is way way way more humane than anything an ARA would suggest
