while I don’t condone the harassment of A S and R I also have a hard time being super empathetic. For over a year now they have been playing games with fans and provoking and engaging with them. No one can convince me Kagehina aren't friends. They're SO silly together and they love teasing each other and they're always near each other. Whenever one of them is troubled by something, the other can always pick up on it, and always knows how to make things better. They haven't known each other all that long, but they just get each other on such a deep level.

"...Not just a friend, but also..." I take the wording here to mean Hinata does consider Kageyama his friend, although their relationship goes a level deeper. Because Hinata has lots of friends already - he's very good at befriending people wherever he goes - but Kageyama was his first partner.
