As if she didn't direct a short film, several music videos, and is going to direct a feature-length film. Why are people so elitist?

#yes she has privilege but so do a ton of people in hollywood#hot take: privilege isn't bad—we should all strive to get it—it’s only bad if you exhibit spoiled behavior#ts doesn't#she’s directed things—that's the only requirement to being called a director#she should be able to talk about her experiences with directing no matter how privileged she is because she's a director#privilege doesn't mean she doesn't have the experience#maybe i’d get it if she were winning an award or being put on a list with others who had to fight harder to get to where she is#but this is literally just talking about experiences—how is she not allowed to do that when she has it???#do these people saying this not realize they're just being exclusionary because of “privilege”#it seems like whenever ts tries to branch out into more things people call her money hunger#*hungry#but whenever a guy does it he's a genius renaissance man#let's just paise all multi-talented people no matter of gender#people really tire me out#taylor swift#directors on directors#directing#film direction
