Cozy Inspirations: Hawks [Keigo Takami] x Reader: Selfish
Tumblr media
Based on the information I found this photo is said to be on a train in Slovenia taken by Nikola Janusic, however upon research apparently this is photoshopped and the background is of Düsseldorf. And then once this was pointed out the person who posted the picture said the background was changed to Düsseldorf and the picture is actually in Slovenia (but ended it with a “;)” face.) I just don’t know. (The comments were pretty funny, though, in a rude way.)
Anyway, to preface this, I’m writing while tipsy, and what I have in mind to write is more hurt than comfort if anything.
Also, manga spoilers.
It hurt him completely to have to do this, but honestly, he felt as if feeling that way was entirely selfish. It wasn’t right for him to complain or feel sad or angry or just utterly defeated, because at the end of everything it was his choices that led him down this path.
He wanted to become a hero. He wanted to save people just like the hero that saved him, and as he grew older the road to becoming the beloved and famous hero he was today was paved on what one might call a broken train track in a beautiful scenery. He was adored by all, acquired skills and techniques that were enviable. He had fame, fortune, and adoring fans, but he knew. He knew what this all could lead to. He knew that there was a chance he would end up having to sacrifice himself for the greater good. He knew that he had a target on his back as red as his fierce wings. He knew he’d have to bloody his hands beyond recognition. And he knew that anyone who became involved with him would be dragged down into his abyss.
So why? Why did he allow himself to fall for you?
Keigo Takami, or rather known to the whole world, as Hawks: The Man Who’s too Fast, knew the second that he saw you, you’d be trouble. So, he kept his distance. He was polite to you every time the both of you were to cross paths, but he wanted more. He was weak to your sweet demeanor, beautiful face, and caring heart. The day he met you, you had nearly ran into him, looking for a hero to help some people that a tree had fallen over. And right after you directed him to the scene of the crime, despite him, a hero, being there, you tried your hardest to help those people, saying things to calm them down, and even attempting to move the tree yourself.
Ever since that day, it was as if you were being guided together, because Hawks kept seeing you around town. He couldn’t get away from you no matter how hard he tried, and because it was starting to become unbearable, he decided to ask you out, assuming that just having a completely casual relationship with you would quench his thirst. But the more he got to know you, the more he wanted of you.
Before Hawks knew it, he was taking you out on romantic dates, spending nights with you, and even inviting you to all of the events he had to attend as a hero. Hawks also went as far as disclosing his real name to you. He knew that you’d have no idea about the significance behind that, but it just felt so nice to hear the word ‘Keigo...’ leaving your lips, especially in time of ecstasy. You became a large part of him, and he enjoyed every minute of it.
All of it was selfish, though. And not only that but a huge danger to you. Hawks hated it, he really did, but there was always this fact looming in the back of his head. ‘I’ll end up taking her with me.’ He didn’t want that for you. You didn’t deserve it, and once Hawks ended up investigating the league, he knew that the end was in sight. You were both going to fall off if he didn’t stop. If he didn’t end this.
So, no, it wasn’t right for him to be feeling this way, especially as he watched you cave in on yourself once he said ‘I’m sorry, but I don’t think this is going to work out anymore...’ He could tell that you were fighting off tears, and you asked him,
‘Why? Did I do something?...Why? Please...tell me...’ It hurt so bad, but Hawks kept a straight face. He tried to comfort you, tried to let you know that it wasn’t your fault, but deep down he knew that it wouldn’t make you feel better. It wouldn’t take away the pain he caused you.
Hawks knew what would happen if you were to get into a relationship. He knew that something like this wasn’t possible, and yet...He just let this all happen. He hurt you, and now he had the audacity to be feeling the way he was now. Truly, it was selfish of him, and it wasn’t right to you that he was feeling this way.
“...Hawks! Hawks!” Being snapped from his thoughts, Hawks rubbed at his eyes before putting on a relaxed face, turning to look at the man in front of him.
“Sorry about that, Twice!” he chuckled, managing to make it reach his eyes in order to look completely authentic, “Now, where were we...Oh, about Redestro!”
“No, no! Forget that right now. I just remembered something,” Twice said before adding, “Keep going.”
“If we keep pausing to talk, then you really aren’t going to learn anything,” Hawks pointed out, motioning to the white board. The two had been meeting regularly so that Hawks could teach Twice about the Liberation army.
“But this is important! I heard from skeptic that there was this girl who came here looking for you!” he explained, “No idea how one of your fans found this place. They’re crazy. She seemed mean. She seemed sweet!”
“That’s strange,” Hawks said with a shrug before turning back to the bored, “Anyway-”
“Oh, yeah! I was told that she said her name was [Name].” Dead silence had followed once Twice said that, the mood of the room completely shifting. It was so quiet that the soft thud of the marker that was once in Hawks’s hand hitting the ground could be heard before,
“What?!”
To be continued...Maybe, IDK.

“Be Mine” Negan x Reader
Words: 2,749
Negan x Reader
Request: Ooo can you do a Negan x Reader where they always flirt but it doesn't go further. But one night they finally end up sleeping together. The reader realises she's pregnant and is terrified Negan will be angry and might reject or hurt her/the baby. So she runs away one night and when Negan realises she's gone he is very panicked and goes after her. He confronts her and she explains everything. Happy ending please!
Warnings: Negan. Language, implied smut, some angst and sadness, fluff
Tumblr media
“Well, aren’t you looking hot as hell today?” Negan approaches you, winking as he holds Lucille in his hand. “Not surprised, though. Every time I come ‘round here, you’re looking fine as ever.”
There a dance that you and Negan were currently doing with each other. He would come to Alexandria every few days, taking people’s belongings and what not. At first, you hated him. You didn’t know the men that he killed very well (you weren’t originally part of Rick’s group- you were already in Alexandria when they arrived there) but it made it hard for you to like Negan at first, especially when he came afterwards and stole your weapons and possessions.
But now, something has changed. You don’t know how it happened, but one day you just starting flirting. He made it clear from the beginning that he was interested in you (he would always say how sexy you were, and that he liked your attitude) but one day you just started flirting back. He is an attractive man, after all.
You don’t know what you consider Negan. He’s technically in charge around here and your leader, and he still killed your friends. But, somehow, you’re growing to like him. You two flirt endlessly and he is actually nice to you, although you’re not sure if that’s just because he wants to get into your pants or not.
“Thank you,” you smile at him. “You look pretty good as well.”
“I don’t know why you’re still here, you know.” Negan points around, referring to Alexandria. “Come back to the Sanctuary with me. There’s always an opening for being my wife, only for you.”
“I’ll think about it.” You tease. Truth be told, you had no interest in joining him at the Sanctuary. Sure, you were harboring your crush on the man and would love nothing more than to be with him. But you know that he has multiple wives, and “love” isn’t a real thing with him.
This may be the apocalypse, but you don’t do relationships like that. You try and stay away from the player types, which is why you’ve denied his advances. Negan and you haven’t even kissed.
Flirting never hurt anybody, though.
“You’re breakin’ my heart, baby girl. You keep saying that but never come.” Negan frowns, walking closer and sitting down on your front porch beside you. He sets Lucille down on the ground, giving you his full attention.
“My life is here.” You say simply.
“Your life could be better there.” He makes a good point, but you don’t give in. “Well, shit, fine. If I can’t have you there, can I at least get some quality time with my favorite girl tonight?”
“Mhm, that I won’t say no to.” You say flirtily.
“I’ll even make you spaghetti, that’s how much I like you.”
“You like me now, huh?” You raise your eyebrow at him, and he rolls his eyes.
“Who wouldn’t like that pretty ass of yours?” Negan winks, gripping your butt lightly.
You can see people walking by your house, watching the two of you intently. You know they are all judging you harshly for your decision, but you don’t care. In your opinion, it was nobody’s business what you did (or who you did it with) but your own. If you want to get cozy with him, they have no right to say anything.
You go to get up from your front porch, earning a frown in response from Negan, who was still sitting beside you holding your ass in his hand.
“Let’s go inside.” You suggested. “It’s getting cold out here, anyways.”
“This because of the people walkin’ by and giving you dirty as shit looks? Because baby girl, trust me, I can take care of that real fucking quick.”
“No,” You smile at him. “I don’t care what they think.”
You walk inside your house with Negan, and he takes a seat on your brown couch. Despite his group taking most everyone else’s furniture, he left you with some of yours. You still had your couch, television, bed, and your kitchen table. You didn’t understand why he was being so nice you, even when all of his men were threatening to take everything from you, Negan didn’t let them.
You take a seat in the middle of the couch, only inches away from Negan. You look over at him, admiring the way he looks. His shaved beard was beginning to grow back, now creating a stubble, which was your favorite look on him. He was wearing his signature black leather jacket, along with his grey colored pants that were held up by a belt. His face is so handsome, you could look at him all day.
“If you wanna take a picture, I aint complaining.” He breaks your from your thoughts, raising his eyebrows at you.
“Uh,” You blush, embarrassed he caught you staring at him.
“Don’t be embarrassed, sweetheart. I don’t mind.” He licks his lips and glances down at yours.
“No?” You question, your heart racing. You want to kiss Negan, you can’t deny that. Your body and your heart are craving it, you feel like you need to kiss him, maybe more. But your mind is telling you differently- your mind is telling you to not do it, don’t go there. It’ll change everything, and you’ll have just become another woman to him. You don’t want to just be a friends with benefits situation with Negan, you want feelings.
Negan suddenly grabs your hips and lays you down onto the couch underneath him, his body pressing into you and his lips only inches away from your face.
“This is the only time I’m going to ask if you want this.” He whispers, eyes glued to your lips. “If you don’t, I’ll get up and we can act like this didn’t happen.”
You hesitate, biting your lip. You’re feeling very torn, not sure what to do. You really want him, but you’re afraid of the consequences.
“I want this.” You breathe out, letting your lust prevail.
-
It’s been about two months since you slept with Negan for the first time, and you were thoroughly enjoying yourself with him. You were worried at first that it might have only been a one night stand type of situation, but Negan once again proved himself different. He wasn’t exactly romantic and you knew that it was most likely purely sexual between you two, but you don’t mind anymore. He was good to you.
The sex was that good.
Everything was going well between you and Negan. He would come to Alexandria frequently just to see you, and everyone stopped bitching that you two were fucking. People were definitely still distant with you, but they stopped giving you dirty looks and sly comments about it. Negan was still trying to get you to move into the Sanctuary with him, becoming his wife, but you’re still denying his offer. That, for you, was getting in too deep. Besides, your feelings about being one wife of many haven’t changed.
A week ago, you began to feel sick for the first time since the outbreak. You had a pretty strong immune system, so getting sick was a once in a blue moon for you.
It came quickly, and out of nowhere. You were speaking to Rick one moment, discussing plans about Maggie’s pregnancy, and the next moment you were running into the house to throw up. This hasn’t stopped for the past week, and you began to question the cause of your sickness.
Which is how you’re in the situation you are currently in- locked up in your bathroom, your heart racing as you wait for the results of your pregnancy tests. If you are pregnant, you’re not sure what you’re going to do. You love children and you’ve always wanted a baby, but not in this circumstance. You’re almost positive that Negan wouldn’t want a child, especially not with you. You’re not even one of his wives, and you think that if he wanted a baby, he would have gotten one of them pregnant.
You’re almost sure of the result, but you needed to take the test anyways. You needed a confirmation. The wait feels like a lifetime, and you feel like you may pass out from anticipation.
“Shit.” You whisper, looking down at the results. All three of them say positive very prominently- no faint lines. You begin to cry softly, tears rolling down your cheeks.
“Y/N, where you at? I’ve missed you.” You can hear Negan bellow from downstairs.
Shit, you forgot he was coming over tonight. Attempting to pull yourself together, you wipe the tears off your face and look into the mirror. Your face is red and your eyes are still watery, but after some deep breaths, you manage to look like maybe you just sneezed or something.
You grab the tests and their boxes and shove them into the deep into the trashcan where Negan won’t be able to find them, not unless he was really looking.
You exit the bathroom, trying to think of what to say to Negan. Should you tell him about your pregnancy? A part of you wants to tell him, the part of you that thinks that he may actually want the kid. But another part of you wants to not tell him, the fear of him rejecting the baby prevailing.
“Hey baby- oh, fuck, what’s wrong? Did someone fucking touch you? I will beat the ever living fuck out of anyone who touched-“
“I’m fine, don’t worry.” You fake smile. “I get allergies, been sneezing a lot.”
“Mm, alright. If I find out you’re lying…”
“I’m not. Do you want to come upstairs?” You offer, turning your shoulders to head back upstairs.
“You bet your ass I do, baby girl. I’ve been waiting for that tight pussy of yours all day.”
You decide at that very moment not to tell him. You’re nothing to Negan but a fuck buddy, you mean nothing to him. He’s going to reject this child. As you walk into your room with him, you start to come up with a plan and figure out how to go through with it.
The rest of the night goes as it usually does- you and Negan have sex, he lays in bed with you afterwards, sweet talking you and making you feel like the most special woman in the world. Negan falls asleep at some point, and you make your first step in your plan.
You slowly move Negan’s arm off of you, which was wrapped around your waist and holding you tightly. You are careful not to wake him up as you roll off the bed, tip toeing out the door as quietly as you can.
You take a deep breath once you shut the door closed behind you, leaning against the stained wood. Are you really going to go through with this?
Yes. Yes you are. It’s the only way you and your baby are going to be okay.
You walk into the hall closet and grab a bag out of there, shoving anything and everything you’ll need to get. You plan on going to Hilltop and into hiding with Maggie, hoping that they’ll accept you there. You’re not exactly everyone’s favorite person at the moment.
You exit through the back door of the house and set off on the journey to the Hilltop, which will probably take you all night if you don’t stop for rest.
People pass you on the street as you walk, but no one says anything to you. You hope that they’re just assuming you’re going to speak to Rick- anything but what you’re actually doing. Once you reach the place where you know Enid used to sneak over the gate, you make sure that no one is around when you climb over.
You look back at Alexandria one last time before you set off. You feel like you’re leaving an entire chapter of your life behind- the comfort of your home, feeling safe, not living in fear all the time. And the one main one- Negan.
A single tear falls down your face as you shake your head, turning around and leaving for good, not daring to look back.
You walk for a few hours before tiredness overcomes your body and forces you to stop. You walk off the side of the road and into the ditch beside it, keeping your gun and your knife right beside you just in case a walker decides to show up.
It doesn’t take long for you drift off into sleep, the exhaustion taking over.
-
You wake up to the sound of a truck driving down the road, making you jump up in fear. You recognize the truck as it nears- it’s Negan’s.
You grab your things and run into the woods, praying that he didn’t see you before you made it. You run a few feet, hoping that you’re hidden by the trees. You glance back into the road and see that the truck stopped.
“No no no,” You mumble to yourself. Negan saw you.
You dodge behind a tree once you hear someone running towards where you were. The tree was large enough to hide your body, but your breathing was loud, so you clamped your hand over your mouth to hopefully silence it.
“Y/N, I know you are out here.” Negan says, a tone in his voice that you’ve never heard before. You can’t exactly pinpoint what it is.
“Please. Please. I woke up and you were fucking gone. I saw the tests in the trash, Y/N. Is that why you left?” His voice cracks, and you gasp. He saw them?
Taking a deep breath, you move into view. Negan is standing there, a straight look on his face, but there is something different about his eyes.
“Are you pregnant?”
“It doesn’t matter.” You say shakily, tears threatening to fall again.
“What the fuck do you mean, it doesn’t matter? That’s my damn kid in there, and believe it or not, I actually fuckin’ care about you. It does matter.” Negan walks closer to you, but you take a step back.
“No, you’re just saying that because you know it’s what I want to hear. You’re good at manipulating people, Negan. You don’t care about me, and I know you certainly don’t care about this baby. You don’t care about anyone but yourself.”
“Damn, you really think that low of me?” He stares you in the eyes, and all the sudden it clicks. He’s hurt. You hurt him.
Maybe you were wrong about him, after all.
“I don’t know what I think.” You shake your head.
“What I know is that you make me feel things none of my wives ever have. What I know is that you’re carrying my fucking child, and of course I want it. Wasn’t exactly in my plans, but gotta roll with it, right?” He smiles at you. “When I woke up and you weren’t there, I was fucking panicked. I almost beat the shit out of everyone there trying to find you.”
“How did you?”
“That don’t matter. What matters is, that I want you and I want this baby. Shit, I’ll send all my wives home, and you can come live in the Sanctuary with me. I know how you feel ‘bout that, but you’d be the only one. I promise, baby girl. Be my wife, my only wife.”
You hesitate to answer. He’s offering you everything you ever wanted, and yesterday, you would have jumped at this opportunity. You’d be his only wife, and he’s even saying that he has feelings for you, which is unheard of with Negan. But you’re just afraid.
Negan looks at you dead in your eyes. It’s obvious that he wants this.
“Yes, Negan.” You finally say. “I’ll be your wife.”

Cozy Inpirations: Hawks [Keigo Takami] x Reader: Selfish Part II
Tumblr media
LINK TO PART ONE
Nothing worked. Nothing that he did or said seemed to reach you, as you stared right in front of yourself, mind going to all of the different possible answers. Was there someone else? Were you beginning to bore him? Why did he no longer love you?
When you came to know Keigo, otherwise known as Japan’s number two hero, Hawks, you found him to be rather amusing. This man had to have been one who sought pleasure, loved the limelight, and had ten different girlfriends at any given time, but, oh, how you were so wrong. He was passionate, sweet, caring, incredibly intelligent, and just a wonderful person all around. He introduced you to new things, took you all over to many different places, and the way he looked at you could truly melt your heart.
You had fallen head over heels, and quiet honestly, you never wanted to get up from this. Keigo was amazing, and the day he revealed to you his real name, you felt as if you were going to spend the rest of your life with him. You’d do anything to stay by his side and always be his, however...Well... ‘I’m sorry, but I don’t think this is going to work out anymore…’ He didn’t see it that way.
You spent the next week in utter confusion. You could feel nothing at all, and you found yourself often huddled up on your sofa, with a blanket wrapped around yourself and the black screen of your TV in front of you, just trying to figure out what you did wrong. Honestly, you couldn’t believe that someone could make you feel this way. Feel as if you couldn’t come back from this. Feel as if you were worthless. And feel as if you couldn’t go on. Why did you love him so much?
Weakly, you had reached next to yourself to try to grab the TV remote, hoping to drown out the numbness that way, but due to your current state, your hand ended up bumping into a pile of books that was on the small end table next to you. With a weak sigh, you looked down at the mess, debating whether or not it were worth it to clean it up. And before you could decide to just flop over on the sofa and pull the blanket over your head, you noticed it. It was a book that you found in the inner coat pocket of Hawks’s hero costume, about two weeks ago when you were doing laundry during an overnight visit of his. You had just put it somewhere, intent on giving it back, but you had forgotten about it completely.
‘The Meta Liberation Army...’ You read the name to yourself as you bent down and picked it up. As you opened up the book, you noticed that some parts were highlighted. Was this why he left you?
...
After hearing your name leave Twice’s mouth, Hawks had to try his hardest not to freak out over this. Was it really you? And if it was, what were you thinking?! How did you even find him?! Letting out a breath of air to calm himself, Hawks walked closer to where Twice was sitting, “Do you know what happened to her?” he asked.
“Oh, is it someone you know?” Twice asked, putting a hand on his chin as he started to think aloud, “Well...from what I understand Slid n’ Go brought her over to Skeptic to check her out-” Hawks couldn’t help it as he quickly left the room. He couldn’t handle not knowing anymore. You couldn’t be there. You just couldn’t. There was no way you were in this life-threatening situation.
As Hawks hurried along through the halls, looking for you or Skeptic, trying to use his wings to sense the vibrations of your voices, he grew more and more anxious. It wasn’t like him to lose his cool like this, and so easily, too, but hearing that you might be here was really too much for the hero. He went out of his way, after all, to make sure that you were protected, and he sadly had to break your heart to do so.
You shouldn’t be searching for him. You should be hating him, wanting to get as far away from him as humanly possible. And while those things hurt for Hawks to think about, he knew that it was for your own good. “You look a bit frazzled~.” ‘Shit.’ Hawks knew that he had gotten carried away. He had gotten so ahead of himself, that he nearly forgot that he, too, wasn’t in a safe situation either. Stopping in his tracks, Hawks listened to the approaching footsteps.
“Do you need something, Dabi?” he asked, trying to keep his voice as leveled and calm as possible. On the inside, however, was a completely different story.
“Me? No. But you?” Dabi chuckled darkly, and as he did so, Hawks turned around to look at him. “You couldn’t be alarmed at that girl who Skeptic is interviewing right now? Could you?” Hawks wanted to bite his lip, but he had to keep his cool. To think, Dabi, of all people, would know what was going on. “She looked rather cute.” Hawks wanted to narrow his eyes. “I’d actually like to have a few words with her myself.” You were too good to have someone like Dabi talking to you. “Maybe incinerate her if she’s a spy or something.” This was too much.
“Where is she?” Hawks asked. He had to think quick, and figure out a way to have Dabi lead him to you without getting suspicious, “I heard from Twice that it’s someone who knows me.” Dabi shrugged, smirk coming onto his face.
“Can you be so sure?” he asked. He was obviously toying with the pro hero.
“That’s what I’m trying to find out.”
“Good answer.” With a slight move of his head, Dabi motioned for Hawks to follow him, taking him to a higher level in the mansion. “She seemed rather interested in our cause, you know? So, Skeptic is testing her knowledge, and if she’s found to be the real deal, she can join us, and if she’s lying...” Dabi stopped, there, letting out a chuckle, “Then for your sake, I hope its just some crazy fan.”
And, part III soon.

Cozy Inspirations: Hawks [Keigo Takami] x Reader: Selfish Part III
Tumblr media
Part I Part II
I only half know where I’m going with this (especially since I was tipsy when this all started), buuut if I had to guess, I’d say they’ll possibly be one or two more parts after this one!
Hawks paced back and forth in front of a door which was emitting a soft yellow light. He tried his hardest to sense the vibrations of the voices coming from within, but he couldn’t make out a single one. The door was completely sound proof, which being as what that room was used for, that only made the most sense. “Nervous?” Hawks looked to his right, to see Dabi leaning up against the wall, smirking in amusement. “I’m sure it’ll be okay, that is if she’s well versed in the liberation army’s teachings.”
“Oh, I’m not worried about that,” Hawks said, trying his hardest to not lose his cool. He still wasn’t exactly sure if you were behind that door or not. He also had no idea why or how you were here. Hawks just knew that he had to tread carefully and not do or say anything that might make you look guilty. “I just want to know who’s behind that door.”
“She said her name was [Name],” Dabi spoke, “Who is she to you?” Of course Dabi would want to get information, but for his own reasons, probably. The problem with that, however, was the blindness that Hawks was dealing with. Who did you introduce yourself as? From all that he knew, Hawks just had to work with the fact that you used your real name and that you said you knew him.
“That’s a conversation for when you’re older, Dabi,” Hawks said.
“What?”
A heavy sound was heard, the door showing its weight as it scraped against the floor underneath it, light now flooding the otherwise dim hallway. This was surely one area of the mansion that would be receiving a renovation. But Hawks didn’t care about that, nor did he feel relieved at the fact that he was able to get out of Dabi’s question. He turned all of his attention on who was in front of him. “Yeah, I should have warned you about the door.”
“It’s fine, Skeptic.” Your voice was like honey at that moment. It sounded so relaxed, so sweet, and so happy. What ever had happened to lead you here didn’t matter, because there you were, safe and sound. Turning your head, you looked in front of yourself. “Hawks!” you said, before rushing to meet the man who hadn’t realized he was clutching where his heart was in relief. “It’s so good to see you!”
There was huge wave of emotions going through the number two hero at the moment, but hearing how happy you sounded to hear him, it all began to grow a big clearer. You knew. You knew why he had left you, which was easy to tell by the way you so lovingly wrapped your arms around him in a hug. But how and why? You were throwing yourself into danger. Unless, you truly were on the liberation’s side... “What are you doing here, [Name?]” Hawks asked, eyes quickly looking towards Dabi and Skeptic to see that they were paying attention to this little reunion.
“I came to be here with you,” you smiled, right before your eyes took on a very serious look, “I mean...I know, Hawks.” So, you did know the truth...But why put yourself in harm’s way? It was true that he loved seeing you, especially seeming so happy towards him, but...he couldn’t have you here like this. Your life took priority. It was why he did what he did in the first place. “I know that Destero had all of the right ideas about our society. I always felt bad not being able to use my quirk how I wanted.” Hawks knew you were going talking this way to prove that you were a part of the cause, but how did you know all of this? “I wish you would have told me sooner! I had to read about it in that book you left me.” And once he heard that, Hawks froze.
‘So, this is my fault...I’m the reason why you’re in such a dangerous situation...’
“It’s so good to see you, but you know, [Name], why don’t we go properly catch up,” Hawks smiled as he looked at you, arms holding you close to him. He had to set this all straight and talk to you alone. He needed to get you out of there. There was just no way, he’d continue to be selfish, even if seeing you again was like a blessing. He wasn’t going to bring you down with him. “Though...It might be rather hard with these cameras on my wings.” Hawks looked up and towards Skeptic, who raise an eyebrow before shaking his head.
“Fine. You have one hour, though. Get it done in that time,” he said. Dabi started to chuckle as he watched the two of you.
“She definitely has an interesting taste in men.”

Cozy Inspirations: Hawks [Keigo Takami] x Reader: Selfish Part IV
Tumblr media
Part I Part II Part III
It had taken a bit of time for Skeptic to remove all of the cameras, but once he did, Keigo was able to head to a nice bedroom with you to talk. Dabi, ever being the detective he was, decided to walk with you guys saying ‘I’ll just wait outside the door.’ And while under regular circumstances, Hawks would most definitely protest that, claiming how weird it was for Dabi to just wait outside while the two of you were in bed together, he knew that this was just something he had to deal with. It was no secret that Keigo still wasn’t completely trusted, yet.
Now, you both found yourself in a dim bedroom all alone, and once the door behind Hawks closed, he rushed over to you, pulling you into an embrace once again. He was worried for you, yes, but he was also so happy to see you. He wanted to tell you how much he missed you, how much he wished that he could always be together with you, but that wouldn’t be fair. He didn’t want to break your heart or cause you any sadness, but he would do whatever it took to make sure you were safe.
This would be incredibly difficult, especially since you seemed to figure out what he was up to. And it was truly all of his fault. You were in danger because of him, and here he was thinking of any way possible to remove you from this situation, even if it meant breaking your heart again. And he had the nerve to feel bad about seeing you walk away. He was a horrible person to feel like this, but he needed you safe. If anything were to happen to you then...
“Why are you here?” he asked, once he finally pulled away from the hug “And how did you even manage to get here?” He watched as you bit your lip, eyes looking away.
“You’re upset...,” you said. Hawks didn’t want you to feel bad, he really didn’t, but, yes, he was upset. Though not at you.
“[Name]...This place is dangerous,” Hawks let out a sigh, “And it will only get worse. Look, I can make up an excuse to get you out of here. Just please, leave.”
“But I can’t!” you said, eyes widening a bit before you placed a hand on your mouth. You probably hadn’t meant to say that so loud, “I mean...you’ve thrown yourself into this situation...for everyone’s sake. It’s really amazing, you know...” Hawks raised an eyebrow, unsure of what you were getting at, and while he wanted to ask, he just let you continue, “You’re a hero. I get that, and I always have, it’s just that...just that...When I think about you being here all alone in such a place...I...I don’t know, I just can’t handle it. I know it’s selfish of me, even after you took precautions to keep me safe, but...but I can’t help it. I’m in love with you.”
Hearing you say all of that, made Keigo’s heart began to thump rapidly. You put yourself into this position because of him? You reached out and grabbed onto one of his hands, holding it gently, “I want to be here for you. You have no one right now to rely on...no one to take the edge of, so I know it must leave you feeling so dejected at times. I want to support you...” And here you were knowing that he’d want you safe, and calling your decision to head into danger, just so that he wouldn’t be alone in this, selfish. ‘I’m the selfish one, [Name], not you...’ “I don’t care about what happens to me.”
Hawks could feel his emotions start to well up and mix together. He was so touched by you, feeling even more in love, but he was also worried and scared about what this might lead to. You knew that you were in such a risky situation, going as far as to ignore what might happen, but what was Hawks to do? Should he break up with you again? You were sure to know his heart wasn’t in that, however. Also, there was something else...Something that Hawks was afraid of happening. He was actually starting to want you here with him.
Your feelings had amplified his own, but truly, he wouldn’t be much of a hero if he allowed you to stay here just because he missed seeing your face. This was growing harder and harder for him, and the more he heard of what you had to say, and the more he was exposed to you, the more he was going to end up jeopardizing your life. “You can’t stay here...,” he said, admittedly having to force the words out.
“And you can’t tell me what to do,” was your reply, “You’re not getting rid of me, Keigo. I can take care of myself, besides, do you think I want you in danger either? Knowing you were here alone, ate me up so horribly.” And seeing you there was digging into Hawks as well. You weren’t going to budge, and while a part of Keigo was happy, another part knew that this all would possibly not end well for you. “I don’t plan on either of us dying.” You seemed resolved, so much more than Hawks had been, and much more than he was supposed to be.
He wasn’t going to let you die either, and if he had to, he’d fight his way out of this mansion with you before he breathed his last breath. “I’m sure you’re passed the point of me changing your mind, but will you at least consider it?” Hawks watched as your gaze looked away for a second before you let out a sigh and shrugged.
“If thinking about it will make this easier on you, then sure,” you agreed with a nod. Smiling softly, Hawks pulled you into another hug, rubbing at your back. Why did you have to remind him again and again and again why he fell for you? Even now in this situation, Keigo knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you. But it was so bittersweet because this wasn’t the time to be thinking about that. Honestly the rest of your lives could be just that day and the next...He couldn’t let that happen. He’d get you out of there at all cost.
“I love you,” he breathed out and into your hair.
“I love you, too,” you told him, pulling out of his embrace. Keigo could see that you were looking into his eyes. It was as if you wanted him to know how genuine, how honest your words were, but the thing is that he didn’t doubt them ever, especially not after you’ve just thrown yourself into these dark depths for him.
“How did even get here?” Keigo asked. He took both of your hands, giving them two tight and loving squeezes, “It’s hard to find.”
“I didn’t find it too difficult,” you shrugged, “I did some online research, and then just took a train.”
