my expectations weren’t super high. they were at most at a mild incline. and yet this episode took them down a steeeeep decline.

i don’t think i was expecting much, maybe just seeing something of the characters we’ve been watching for the past 10 episodes, maybe seeing something more of Tess and Tun, maybe seeing how they adjust to life back in their universe.

My highest, most unreasonable expectation was for Tess to have been forced to grow up and in a show with universe hopping that doesn’t feel like asking for too much

My most shitposty expectation that I was excited about but didn’t really expect too much for was a Drake cameo stemming from portkey logistics that they’ve established before.

jokes on me for expecting them to stick to the existing universe rules i guess? because, what? they’re too special for the rules (or anybody else we have grown attached to) to matter???

#i never do this but i watched this ep at 1.5 speed starting halfway through 2/4 #i even watched star in my mind at normal speed #and even that didn't disappoint me this much #obv because i had much higher expectations here than that shitshow but COME ON #i'm genuinely so disappointed #and the next episode seems like it's just extra angst for the sake of it?#i've really really tried to stick with them on what they've been doing #but none of it was worth it #vice versa #vice versa series #lesson learnt - don't expect bad buddy #i miss bad buddy :(
