Do you know the feeling where a teenager and some little girl have an instant friendship and go to an old man's OTHER BIN to take his lucky dime.

Do you KNOW the feeling where a teenager is the niece of an evil magical sorcerer who is forcing her own niece to steal an old man's dime she can come back to life.

And DO YOU KNOW THE FEELING Where a little girl feels betrayed by her teenager best friend because SHE is a spy for an evil sorceress.

(i promise this is the last one), AND DO YOU KNOW THE FEELING Where a teenager gets shot by her OWN aunt with some staff thingy and her best friend witnesses this and is horrified at what she just saw.

Yes. I know the feeling because that's what lena and webby felt.

Honestly, I could imagine lena dodging one of magica's bolts and going to webby, making lena lunge at her, sending them both to the Shadow Realm.

I could also imagine this song playing in the background. The kind of Japanese song that is really depressing and making you not let go of your best friend because you'll be alone forever.

And the song for Webby and Lena seems very fitting for them because the english lyrics sing: Still remember the day we met. I had the pleasure of meeting you.

The song's called Kotoba ni Dekinai [言葉にでき���い] by Off Course.

How I Think Certain Atypical Characters Would Interact With Certain DuckTales (2017) Characters

Ok. Here I’ll be going over how I think certain characters from the Atypical TV series would interact with certain characters from the DuckTales (2017) TV series. Also, Spoiler Alert for the Atypical TV series and the DuckTales (2017) TV series. With that out of the way, let’s dive right in.

I think that Casey would get along just fine with Lena and Webby. After all, as shown in the episode ‘Antarctica’, Casey can be pretty snarky and aggressive and, as shown in the episode ‘The Beagle Boy Breakout!’, Lena is also pretty snarky and aggressive. Also, I think that Casey and Lena might see each other as kindred spirits since they both had controlling parental figures who interferes with their relationships. As shown in the episode ‘Julia Says’, Casey’s mother Elsa was overprotective of her and her brother Sam to an extreme fault and, as shown in the episode ‘Player’s Ball’, her father Doug interfered with her relationship with Izzie and, as shown in the episode ‘The Other Bin Of Scrooge McDuck!’, Lena’s aunt Magica De Spell took control of her body and, as shown in the episode ‘Nightmare On Killmotor Hill!’, Magica tried to make Lena lose faith in her bond with Webby. On that note, I think that Casey would really want to break Magica’s beak if possible after she finds out about all the pain and grief she put her niece Lena through, especially since, unlike Doug who, as shown in the episode ‘Dessert At Olive Garden’, grew to genuinely felt remorse for interfering in Casey’s relationship and learned that he should never have done it, Magica, as also shown in the episode ‘Nightmare On Killmotor Hill!’, didn’t feel remorse for what she did to Lena. Plus, both Casey and Lena have a sibling-like bond with and serve as a stark contrast to someone who is quite nerdy. As shown in the episode ‘Sam Takes A Walk’, Casey has a sibling-like bond with and served as a stark contrast to her brother Sam who can be quite nerdy and, as shown in the episode ‘Challenge Of The Senior Junior Woodchucks!’, Lena has a sibling-like with and served as a stark contrast to Violet who can also be quite nerdy. As for why I think Casey would get along with Webby, I think it would come down to their shared passion for being athletic. After all, as shown in the episode ‘Are You In Fair Health?’, Casey has a passion for running and, as shown in the episode ‘From The Confidential Casefiles Of Agent 22!’, Webby is passionate about her spy training which would surely include athletic training. Also, on that note, I think that Casey and Webby would like to give Lena some athletic training to further prepare her for whatever threats she would have to face.

I think that Sam would get along just fine with Huey and Della. As shown in the episode ‘Antarctica’, Sam is pretty smart and hyperfocused and, as shown in the episode ‘Quack Pack!’, Huey is also pretty smart and hyperfocused. Sam and Della might get into a few heated arguments at first since, as shown in the episode ‘Magical Bird #1’, Sam prefers staying organized whereas, as shown in the episode ‘Nothing Can Stop Della Duck!’, Della doesn’t care about organizing. But since, as also shown in the episode ‘Nothing Can Stop Dells Duck!’, Della does apply math to some of her stunts, I think that Della and Sam would learn to get along. Also, as shown in the episode ‘Antarctica’, Sam is autistic and often tends to get quite hyperfocused on certain specific things and, as @minatist pointed out in their Kinda Funny How I Headcanon Them Both As Autistic…..Lets Go Autistic Genes! post and, as @boingodigitalart illustrated in his Happy Autism Awareness Day And Autism Acceptance Month 2024!!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ post, both Huey as well as his mother Della are autistic which would make sense since, as shown in the episode ‘The Most Dangerous Game…Night!’, Huey often tends to get quite hyperfocused on certain specific things which is one thing that could mean a person is autistic and, as @freakzofnurture pointed out in their …And So Much More! post and as shown in the episode ‘Nothing Can Stop Della Duck!’, Della often has trouble with social cues which is another thing that could mean a person is autistic. This all would probably mean that all 3 of them are autistic. So, Sam and Huey might see each other as kindred spirits since they’re both pretty smart, hyperfocused and autistic and Sam and Della might also see each other as kindred spirits since, as shown in the episode ‘Antarctica’, Sam is autistic and has trouble with social cues and, as already pointed out, Della is also autistic and has trouble with social cues. Also, Sam, Huey and Della all have at least a slight sense of adventure. After all, as shown in the episode ‘Dessert At Olive Garden’, Sam wanted to go to Antarctica and, as shown in the episode ‘Challenge Of The Senior Junior Woodchucks!’, Huey loves being and is a member of the Junior Woodchucks, a group of people who go through a series of insanely difficult obstacles to earn badges and, as shown in the episode ‘The First Adventure!’, Della loved adventuring since she was a kid. So, with that in mind, I think that both Huey and Della would be ecstatic to join Sam on a trip to Antarctica and would like to see if it can earn him more Junior Woodchuck badges.

I think that Donald and Doug would have a rocky start before they learn to get along. After all, I think that Donald would get mad at Doug for, as I pointed out earlier, interfering with his daughter Casey’s relationship with Izzie given that, as shown in the episode ‘What Ever Happened To Donald Duck?!’, Donald is very loyal to his own family and that, as shown in the episode ‘The Last Crash Of The Sunchaser!’, he was very mad at his uncle Scrooge for the loss of his sister Della. But I think that Donald might start to empathize with Doug for, as I also pointed out earlier, learning that he shouldn’t have interfered with his daughter’s relationship with her girlfriend and also because, as shown in the episode ‘Ernest Shackleton’s Rules For Survival’, Doug also felt a lot of anger when it came to misfortune he had with his family to the point that he confronted and punched Nick since he was the one who his wife cheated on him with. Speaking of Donald and Doug’s families…

I think that it would be interesting if the McDuck family and the Gardner family had a dinner together since those 2 families have quite a few surprising similarities. Both families almost got torn apart by a family secret. After all, as shown in the episode ‘The Last Crash Of The Sunchaser!’, the secret Scrooge kept about Huey, Dewey and Louie’s mother Della’s disappearance created a rift between them and almost tore their family apart and, as shown in the episode ‘The Silencing Properties Of Snow’, Elsa secretly cheating on her husband Doug with Nick created a rift between her and her family. Also, both families had a parent who was quite strict with their child which caused them to have a strained relationship. In the case of the McDuck family, there was Fergus McDuck and his son Scrooge McDuck who, as shown in the episode ‘The Secret(s) Of Castle McDuck!’, had a strained relationship due to how strict Fergus was with Scrooge. And in the case of the Gardner family, there was Casey Gardner and her mother Elsa Gardner who, as shown in the episode ‘Julia Says’, had a strained relationship partly because Elsa was being overprotective and strict with her. So, Scrooge and Casey might bond a little bit because of this. And both families went through quite a bit of conflict and strife before ultimately persevering through it all. As shown in the episode ‘The Shadow War Part 2: The Day Of The Ducks!’, the McDuck family went through quite a bit of conflict before ultimately persevering through and, as shown in the episode ‘Dessert At Olive Garden’, the Gardner family also went through quite a bit of conflict before ultimately persevering through.

@daisy-duck-rp I didn't know you were with me too? Admittedly, I'm not a fan of walking on the moon, but I know that my sister and my boys will bring me back to Earth. If not, Scrooge will get his.

Although I'm finally in space as I've always wanted.

Ducktales Crew in spacesuits in space on the Moon - Ducktales kids, teenagers and adults on the Moon - Happy Moon Landing and Happy Independence Day of the USA - Gift for my friend - Ducktales in Space (Ducktales AU) - Tribute to Ducktales 2017

Although I already drew Ducktales characters in spacesuits on the moon last year, still because of Landing Moon Day which is held on July 20th every year and this year is the 55th anniversary of human walking on the moon, I drew somehow a similar drawing, in my own way, in my own style where the Ducktales characters are on the moon in spacesuits.

Astronauts eil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins who led the Apollo 11 crew in the Saturn V rocket from July 16 to July 24, 1969, with July 20 and 21 being Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon and were the first people to walk on the moon and brought great pride to the USA and to all mankind. July 20 and 21, 1969 were the significant dates when people were on the moon for the first time. And those are the days of Moon Landing. After the crew of Apollo 11, the crew members of Apollo 12-17 will go and walk on the moon, until 1972, except for Apollo 13. Unfortunately, after more than 50 years, people reportedly did not go to the moon due to numerous problems with the construction of further rockets, but lately there is a race to the moon again, so maybe in the near future people will go to the moon again, unless they are faking it. Space travel is back in fashion. And 55 years have passed since the first walk on the moon.

I didn't manage to draw Ducktales characters from head to toe in spacesuits, but certainly the special way I imagine Ducktales 2017 is that they wear spacesuits like Sandy Cheeks from Sponge Bob, I just reshaped it in my own way and these suits can be used and for traveling under water, in volcanic regions and protection against pandemics. Yes, they wear bubble helmets, which are actually glass-proof. Della Duck is driving a lunar rover, like the first astronauts who walked on the moon, and Dewey is holding a banner of the USA flag from where he came from (although it has passed, I certainly dedicate this drawing to Independence Day for my American friends, which is celebrated every 4th July), Huey and Gosalyn hold a banner that reads: "We are the first ducklings on The Moon. One small step for ducklings, one big step for ducks!" If you understand this sentence. ;) And Louie Duck is filming this momentous event with his friends and family on his cell phone. Yes, these boys are wearing backwards baseball caps, since that's kind of how I prefer it in my version of Ducktales 2017 and the Quack Pack Reboot. And Donald and Daisy are here together as they love each other.

Here’s chapter two from my DuckTales fic.

CHAPTER 2: “Nightmare”

“Whatever it is, take care of it yourself. I’m done.”

“Come now, is that any way to speak to your family? To your caring and devoted aunt, no less?”, Magica mocked. Her sardonic tone rang quite clear as it echoed in her niece’s ears.

Lena rolled her eyes as she glared upwards into the never ending darkness that was the void; the cold, isolating, imprisonment she currently resided in until Magica needed her for her own bidding.

“We’re anything but family”, said Lena through gritted teeth. “Leave me alone”, she spat as she proceeded to blindly tread her way in no particular direction. Every step she took felt like she was stepping into a puddle of shallow water.

“Don’t you want to see your perky, little playmate again? Or did she finally tire of you?”

Lena froze.

She knew Webby. Webby cared for her, more than anyone else. Even when she found out the truth about why Lena was seeking the dime…

Webby never gave up on her.

“I said leave me alone!”

Suddenly, a dim orb shot past Lena, circling above her, just enough for her to see it take the silhouette of some type of bird.

It opened its beak. “Evermore…”

It was a voice Lena had never heard before.

“What?”, she asked, straining her eyes. She could see a streak of purple forming on top of the bird’s head.

The bird shrieked, “Evermore!”, before darting towards Lena, colliding into her, yet she felt nothing. She turned around in time to see the bird vanish as gray wisps of smoke evaporated into the void.

She gasped as she instinctively examined herself, worrying that she too would disappear into a cloud of smoke. She sighed, as she felt the sleeves of her sweater. The sweet relief filled her knowing what remained of her body was still intact-

“Help!”

That voice.

Lena’s heart sank as she turned around, her eyes widening as she saw that just a few feet from her, was Webby, who seemed to be frantically trying to keep herself afloat in a small body of water that she was desperately trying to get out of.

She was drowning.

Every rapid motion she made with her flailing arms to try and stay above the surface caused more splashes of water to fling every which way.

“Webby?”, asked Lena, momentarily stunned. How did she get here? She snapped out of it almost immediately. Her best friend needed her. “Webby!”, she yelled, running as fast as she could.

“Help!”, yelled Webby, as soon as she emerged from below the water, only to be forced under yet again.

“Webby!”, shouted Lena as she finally reached the edge of the puddle, dropping to her knees, she tried to plunge her arms into the freezing water, to grab onto Webby. However, once her hands made contact with the few inches of water, they hit what felt like glass. “No!”, she exclaimed, pounding on the unbreakable barrier. “Webby!”

“Lena!”, yelled Webby, her muffled voice barely audible to the teen.

Their eyes met for a split second before Webby was being pulled farther down into the dark until she was completely gone from sight.

Lena’s heart stopped. She screamed at the top of her lungs, an ear piercing scream. Seeing her best friend being ripped away from her, was torture. Pure torture.

“NO! WEBBY! NO!”. She went back to slamming her fists against the blockade to no avail. “Webby!”

Just then two pairs of hands made contact with Lena’s arms.

Magica.

“No! Stop it! LET ME GO!”, yelled Lena.

The pairs of hands felt familiar to her. They resisted her attempts at being shaken off. They gripped tighter onto her, not in the sense that they were trying to hurt her but guide her.

They were gentle, in fact, so gentle that they couldn’t possibly be Magica’s.

It didn’t matter. They were preventing her from gettting to Webby.

“I said stop, you witch!”, she yelled, her heavy breathing nearly made it impossible for her to get the words out. Her eye color shifting from clear to a neon blue.

The grips of the invisible hands intensified. Seizing her arms until they forced them to her sides. Just as their hold on her got stronger, the heavier her breathing intensified.

She could hear numerous disembodied voices calling to her.

Lena… Lena… Lena…

There was a fire burning inside her. Her magic growing inside of her, ready to burst…

“STOP!”

The pounding in her head eased, as did whatever was holding onto her.

Lena gasped as she immediately sat up in bed, trying to steady her breathing, looking around her and Vi’s shared bedroom. Everything except for the bed and the bookshelf had levitated from their usual place and were now floating around on the ceiling.

All of Vi’s books, the nightstand, the lamp, the ceramic skull Lena used as a candle, and all of the girls’ other trinkets were suspended in midair surrounded by a mystical blue light.

To Lena’s horror, Tyrian and Violet were also on the ceiling, spread eagle, unable to move. Tyrian looked anxious, while Violet seemed impressed.

“I see you’ve been improving your telekinesis. Quite the feat that you’ve now managed to utilize your skills on people as well as our possessions”, said Violet.

Lena waved her arm in the air, side to side, as her hand radiated a blue aura around it. “Sorry, guys”, she said, as her father and sister were gently set back on the floor, as well as the rest of their belongings.

Tyrian let out a sigh of relief. “No pasa nada, miel”, he said, kneeling down next to Lena. “Violet came to get me as soon as you started having a fit in your sleep. We did our best to wake you before you-“

“Tossed you on the ceiling like a ragdoll?”, said Lena guiltily.

Tyrian offered a reassuring smile as he rustled her hair. “We’re alright, sweetheart”, he said, looking next to Lena. “Violet?”

“Indeed”, said Violet, who had made her way onto the bed, sitting next to her sister, grasping her hand. “I thought we had resolved what’s been upsetting you so you’d never have nightmares again.”

“Not unless you know some incantation that’ll make me stay awake forever”, Lena teased.

Violet furrowed her eyebrows. “I haven’t come across one yet, but I shall bookmark it once I do.” She positioned herself on the bed, entwining her and Lena’s arms together, as she rested her head on the teen’s shoulder.

Lena smirked, she too resting her head on Violet’s.

Tyrian smiled, getting to his feet. “I think this is the perfect time for hot chocolate. How many marshmallows do you girls want?”

“Three.”

“Five.”

I like how in that one episode in ducktales where magica teaches Lena magic she's just like "I may have taught you magic, but I never taught you how to catch these hands!" Before trying and failing to fist fight her 15 year old magic niece. That was funny

She’s so coooooool okay here’s my question genuinely WHY does she look like that. Magica gets soul split (?) into the dime, and her shadow splits off into a preteen girl. Love it, but I’m sooo curious as to what that is. Her lil villain arc was SOOOO exciting the first time, and I was obsessed with the idea of her and Scrooge being out in mutual positions when they’re being held captive, and that was such an interesting potential. Niece of his sworn enemy, that man just collects strays.

Apologies if I've asked this before, I don't know how to check ask history, but what do you think of the theory that Lena isn't just a shadow? Theory goes that she's actually Poe's daughter, and actually Magica's niece, she just got messed up in a magic experiment and lost chunks of her memory. I'd love to see a comic of the three girls figuring that out, and/or finding Poe, and or shenanigans involving any of this XD

So I kinda really like that Magica and Poe are among the Loving Families Can Be Evil Actually rep crowd.

They WERE loving siblings. They had fun together! They looked out for each other and cared about each other! They even did the whole hold hands to help channel magic thing, like Lena does with HER friends and family!

Poe even jumped in front of the magic blast for his sister-Losing Poe has Magica on her knees begging her brother to come back, for someone to help save him, she'll give anything if only-!

Magica goes BEGH at friendship, but she and Poe were friends. They were family the way the McDucks are all family.

... result of this is, for me, it's like.... if Lena had EVER been part of that... if she'd been Poe's daughter, by blood or magic or adoption..

if she'd EVER been part of Magica's family...

I have a hard time imagining Magica doing what she did to Lena.

Or rather, it'd kinda take the fun out of her and Poe's brand of Evil Love if she did?

that scribble i did once of Webby wishing Lena had always had a loving family and meeting happily evil Lena De Spell is where my brain goes when it comes to Magica ever thinking Lena as her actual niece. Can you imagine Magica being so proud of her niece's gruesomely florid poetry about destroying a neighboring village? Her glee teaching Lena how to use Poe's amulet to curse people?

but if we're trying to fit into actual canon instead of an alternate reality...

It's not impossible.

Maybe, oh, Poe made a shadow kid for himself one day, out of boredom, or grabbed a village orphan after helping to orphan them.

He tried his best but his idea of fun was terrifying and the kid/shadow (Lena) kept trying to run away bc yeah, being adopted by the De Spells was better than getting turned into a frog, but not by a whole lot tbh

and Magica put up with it to humor her brother, even if she found 'it' annoying

But then once Poe was gone, the kid was just a nasty reminder that he WAS gone, so while she couldn't bring herself to, like, bump if off bc what if Poe comes back someday what if-

so just she punted it into the shadow realm for safe keeping or whatever.

Then later she needed something to have a body so her shadow could ride around on it until the next eclipse and hey, turns out the scrap of Poe's shadow/magic/whatever that Lena got from him isn't as bound to the dime as the rest of Magica is! Perfect!

she punts Lena back out of the shadow realm and hitchhikes on her 'niece' for the next fifteen years, getting more and more bitter that this little wretch is still here when Poe is not

cue banishing and rejecting Lena during the shadow wars. wee!

Poe would be turning over in his grave if she'd ever had the chance to make one for him

That's a thing I could imagine, I guess.

Harder for me to imagine Lena caring one way or the other.

Canon her doesn't seem to have had any happy family memories before getting rolled up with the McDucks/Sabrewings. Missing memories is a really hard to pull off without a lot of set up and care, otherwise it just comes out of nowhere and feels... weird.

She might help Magica look for him someday, out of shared sisterly understanding, maybe. Since she has Violet now. And is SUPER protective of her own sister.

Losing a sibling/fear of losing them could be a shared thing for her and Magica. Or a way for her to understand Poe.

Honestly though... I feel like Ducktales used up it's one good "bring back a supposedly dead love one" card on Della, and that was a very good spending of it. I can't quite get my brain to imagine Poe returning.

How do you think the conversation between Magica and Poe would be like when Magica brings up maybe the creation of Lena or Magica dating Gladstone or simply them both catching up (or more Magica informing Poe of what happened the years he was a raven)?

On an unrelated note, do you think Poe would remember what it was like being a crow if he was ever transformed back? Or if he was aware as a raven but could not control the body the entire time?

I do think that Poe remember his time as a bird. But it's not as clear as being a person. He remembers bits and pieces and the feeling. The way the trees song and the warmth of the sun. The chill of winter and the need to fly away. He never could feel truly home was but he could sense where it may be.

He had thoughts but they weren't the same. They came as pictures and ideas and feelings more than words that could be put on a page. Sometimes, Poe was lucky and he could find Magica. He would try to call out to her and sometimes she understood. He imagines those were the most painful of times. To be aware of who you are and who you could be only to forget all and be just a bird again. Or worse to remember and know while being unable to get the only person who save you to hear you...

Magica doesn't know all that. He lies and lies to her at ever turn. 'It was fun' or 'It amused me. I may want to try my hand at it again if I could master how to turn back at will.' But no! He'd never go back to that. It was so hard to live like that. It haunts him at times.

"Dearest... niece." He one day talks to Lena. "I hate you. I hate everything you are. Not because are a shadow given life, but because you side with a man that has ruined me."

"You mean because he stopped you from being an evil warlord? Hm, that could be called justice."

"The cruelty of justice is beyond words." He tells her. "Even now, my sister and I struggle daily. You recall us at your best and seen us at our worst... And our punishments was to live the every worst of our crimes. Yet, we are villains for acting so carelessly as we hurt others and he is a hero for paying no mind or loss of sleep for doing the same to us." Poe glazes at the manner and its wealth. "It may be that I see no difference in him or I. But I can't believe you don't see how close we are. Two sides of the love same coin he treasures."

"you're insane." Lena hisses at him. "You are nothing like him! he's a- He's a great man that helps people. You rule and hurt others. He's never-"

"I tire of this." Poe declares. "Go play the hero in this game else where. My sister and I have wounds to heal."

THAT'S KINDA HOW I FEEL ABOUT POE AND IF HE REMEMBERS. Hope that answers the question and that it was an enjoyable read.

In the same way that I've never been entirely sure whether Kuroki Mio was a projection of Beryl's younger self, or a shadow being she created from scratch, or a formerly independent being under Beryl's control like the Shitennou, or a stick, I'm not sure what Lena De Spell's precise reality status is. She doesn't appear to have been literally Magica's niece, as in the daughter of a sibling of Magica, but she also wasn't just a supernatural puppet, or a facet of Magica herself. She had a will of her own and could do things Magica couldn't while she was mostly imprisoned. Some of Violet Sabrewing's dialogue in the episode I just watched, "Friendship Hates Magic!", could be taken to mean Lena was a tulpa, but later in the episode tulpas seem to mean something different.

Markl Fischer (Markl, Howl’s Moving Castle) - Not taking it personally when your mentor vanished on you was quite difficult to do, but you managed to pull yourself from your slump and master your craft. Still, you can’t help but think that you hope your old mentor would see you now and be proud of you. Rumor has it they’re in Swynlake. Will you be able to show them how you’ve grown?

Magica De Spell (Magica, Ducktales) - You would call accidentally getting a demon to possess your infant niece, um...a big oopsie. Oh well, you can hardly just undo it, so you’re going to make the best of it. Now that Lena is old enough to learn to harness the demon within her, you’ve come to Swynlake in hopes of being able to use her -- and it -- for what you really want. Power.

Luz Noceda (Luz, The Owl House) - You wouldn’t call yourself a few years behind; rather, you simply started to learn your sorcery craft a few years older than most sorcerers. Hardly your fault when you can’t see reagents but must sense them another way. You’re determined to master your specialty and prove you’re just as capable as any other witch!

Kiki Takayama (Kiki, Kiki’s Delivery Service) - AH! That’s what the inside of your brain sounds like. What kind of witch seemingly loses her ability to do magic because of one personal event? Fresh off the failure of your test, you’re determined to find your magic again. What better place than a magical town?

Geppetto Collodi (Geppetto, Pinocchio) - Nothing is more difficult than wanting the one thing you can’t seem to the have. Now that you have it, you’ll do everything to protect it. Will you be able to mellow out or will your fear of loss take the wheel?

Regina Grimm (The Evil Queen, Snow White) - Never help someone who you aren’t confident can do a murder right is the only lesson you took from that unfortunate ordeal. New to Swynlake, you’ve come to reinvent yourself, if only in theory, and conquer a smaller kingdom than the city. Who will be foolish enough to stand in your way?

Majke finds him entirely irritating. She wants him to be at least a little sorry for the dream. For crashing back into her life in such an unimaginable way. For being kind to her in a way she hadn't expected.

What good was it to have a bitter rival when they were nice to you? That sort of defeated the purpose of having a bitter rival.

And for all the flirting that Majke did for fun, she had never, aside from perhaps 5 minutes, found Seamus all too terribly compatible. He had an old-world charm that made him a good -- at the time -- friend. But it was altogether different from that of a lover.

Talking about Lena does feel different. They'd been together when Majke had heard the news of her niece's birth, hadn't they? She had used his phone, even.

"Well, she's not my kid, I don't think she wants me around too much," Majke says, defensively. Though, how much of Lena was Poe's kid? Poe, who hadn't been present in Lena's life much at all. "I mean, she's... she should be fine. I don't know, we have out moments. But we do talk. Sometimes."

Magica sighs.

"I guess it's all the times we've pretended to be a couple, then. The dream thought it would be funny to play at it again?"

Hi!! IM SO SORRY, i didn’t see your question as I don’t get a notifications for some reasons?? But I saw it a couple of days ago, so… And I ALWAYS want to answer if you have questions I just don’t see this questions 😭 I really need to check them more often

I don’t know if you are still interested (it’s been two months, so, yeah), but I will explain anyway, maybe others are curious, and for myself as well

The whole au inspired by Victor Hugo’s novel called “Toilers of the sea”. I absolutely adore this book, one of my favorite books ever. If you have never read this book, I recommend it to you.

The book describes the power of the sea, and shows how miserable the man is compared to the force of nature.

So, the plot of this au is pretty close to the plot of the original Duck Tales - Magica wants revenge on Scrooge, she wants to kill his whole family and sink his steamship, so she sends Lena as a spy. Lena and Webby becoming more close to each other, and Lena turns away from her aunt.

Short explanation of characters:

Scrooge is obviously Lethierry, the owner of the first steamship in the Guernsey island. This steamship called Sunchaser (as a reference to Durande). He’s rich, cares only about ship and money.

Webby- Deruchette, in this au she Scrooge’s niece who lives with him and her grandma, she doesn’t have friends until triplets and Lena, so not much difference from the original cartoon.

Donald and the triplets is the same as in DT, they just came to Scrooge, but excluding them would be a shame.

Magica - Sieur Clubin, but she doesn’t follows his fate in the book, she’s the same as in DT, she’s a magician, who can control the sea

Lena - she’s a portray of Gilliat, everyone think she’s witch, she lives alone, and as Magica, she is a magical creature (she’s a mix of Gilliat’s and Clubin’s characters, as she is a spy in Duck’s family, but mostly will act like Gilliat). And yeah, there’s gonna be some Weblena (and it’s not a one sided love like in the book).

I took “Toilers of the sea” as an inspiration, but at the same time I want to connect the plot of this au with original DT’s plot. It’s really hard for me to summarize as I don’t know what I want to do with this au yet, but I tried my best.

And I’m sorry for my mistakes, English is not my first language, so it can be a messy explanation
