Today is the birthday of one of my favorite humans in this universe, my Samlove. I hope to celebrate her every day, but today especially.

I hope today is as bright and beautiful as you are, my own personal sunshine. I hope you get to spend some time with your niece, who puts a smile on your face like no other. And I hope the universe smiles on you in all the little ways — a break in traffic, the soft call of a bird through your window, someone holding the door open for you — a gentle reminder that you are precious in this vast cosmos.

Most of all, I hope that you know how loved and cherished you are. Meeting you all those years ago was a work of fate, and I am grateful for it every single day. Being one half of #TeamHanna, protecting all our fandom-hated children, finding someone else who loved our boys up there... you are truly a reminder for me that I am not alone out here.
