type animation research part five

these were some type animations I saw from Behance that helped me see other ways of animations depending on the typeface’s character and feel

I’ve screenshotted this part of the work I was inspired by and found this work from FUNGIS Typeface by Milena Leimig 

I really like the first animation where it resembles the insertion point/cursor that kind of relates to my typeface’s identity for Mozilla Foundation/associating with the internet. I could probably use this kind of animation to my own work

I also liked the “alternates” animation section where it shows different styles of the letters on the second column + third column in different speed/delay time. the weights section was a good way to show the different weights of Fungis with the name of the weights. the simple animation of showing the ligatures of the typeface was also a reminder for me to show my typeface’s ligatures.

Black slate blocks

Black slate blocks sind natürliche schwarze Schiefersteine bzw. Tonschiefer. Black slate blocks haben eine mittelharte Struktur, sind sehr knusprig, ohne Körner und nicht klebrig oder leimig – erdig. Im nassen Zustand erweichen die Black slate blocks, zerfallen in Granulat wie Getreide und schmilzt dann allmählich. Ähnlich wie die Slate pencil natural, aber erdiger.
