"I have quite a few tales from my journeys," Hermos said one day when he feared that Drustan was about to ask a personal question. "Would you like to hear one?"

"Maybe." The brunette smiled. "How embellished is your story?"

"It's stretched long enough to reach nose to tail on a draft horse." He grinned wickedly.

"Then of course I want to hear it," Drustan laughed, settling back in his chair for the story. He didn't particularly care if the story was true, a good story is a good story.

"I've lost strength, Timaeus."

"What do you mean?"

"When I had almost reached Soleanna, I was robbed on the road. My sword was stolen from me and my right arm was injured. The wound has healed, but the healers told me that the wound was so deep I would not be able to recover my former strength. I'm no longer fit to be a knight of Atlantis." Hermos closed his hands into a fist. "I was barely fit for the role in the first place."

"That's not true." Timaeus' statement was full of conviction.

"I was lucky to make the rank of knight at all." Hermos's voice was bitter and sad. "I don't know what the hell they were thinking when they partnered me with you two. Even at my best, I was barely half as good as you."

The sound of steel sliding against steel made Hermos look up. Critias had unsheathed his sword.

"Duel me, Hermos. I will assess the strength of your sword-arm for myself."

I was tempted to post this whole scene, but that would have been way too much. I promise I'll post this fic someday.

“Get the hell out of here, Critias.” Hermos turned his back on him, facing the dragonsteed again as he tried to keep his temper under control. He wasn’t sure how much more ridicule he could take before he threw himself at the blond with both fists raised.

Critias took a few steps away, then turned back to speak over his shoulder.

“Who stayed up with you that night, Hermos?”

His tone had completely changed.

“That night, after Maiya turned down your proposal, you drank half your body weight in ale, and Timaeus passed out trying to keep up with you. Who stayed up with you all through that night until the dawn broke?”

The silence was long and deafening.

“You did.” Hermos’s answer was barely a whisper.

“That’s right.” Critias looked away from him again. “You didn’t sleep a wink that night, so neither did I.” He left then, and neither Hermos nor Drustan spoke a word until the blond knight was long out of sight.

"Wow. He's…" Drustan was at a loss for words, but Hermos wasn't.

"Pigheaded. Obnoxious. Self-righteous. Overbearing. Pick one." The former knight waved a hand demonstrably before he resumed petting Persephone.

"Intense," Drustan chose instead.

"He's the firstborn son of a noble, it probably comes with the silver spoon."

I was working now on Timaeus, he's basically Yami/Atem too 🤔 And I can imagine him admiring Atlantis after being knighted, it's such an honor! But it's also a huge resposability 😥 What'd you think? I didn't finish it yet

Star Trek (okay, I know the below is from “The Motion Picture” but I’m using this shot of the Enterprise to represent all of Star Trek on one go. So sue me)

Stargate Atlantis (I’m a bit more in love with Atlantis than SG-1… sorry not story)

Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda (Yes I’m fully aware of the type of person Kevin Sorbo has revealed himself to be.. and that makes it hard for me to go back and rewatch this show. But it’s called “Andromeda” not “The sexcapades Adventures of Dylan Hunt” so if I do rewatch it, it’ll be for HER not him.)

Doctor Who (I mainly love the TARDIS… and K-9. And want to build a Dalek.. and revive my TARDIS build plans as well.)

Power Rangers Dino Charge (okay yes, I grew up with MMPR and loved some of the following seasons more [looking at you Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, and Time Force] but Dino Charge brought me back into the fandom after I met the Blue Ranger from that season and decided to watch just because of him. Also, interestingly enough Dino Charge is the reason I began working with resin.. and I’ve also become friends with the Red and Black Rangers 😁 The fact I crushed super hard on the Green Ranger is irrelevant 🤣🤣)

Knight Rider (so I loved the original 80s series. I wanted a Trans Am so badly when I was younger. Then 2008 rolls around and NBC decided to reboot the show and we got the Knight 3000. Then I wanted a Mustang! 🤣🤣 Another show that didn’t get a fair chance because NBC didn’t advertise it properly. When it finally found its footing and got REALLY good, it was cancelled. Again, still salty about that too…)

Living Single (I don’t even remember HOW I discovered this show but it was absolutely AMAZING!! So much so that the creators of friends decided to rip it off, but you can’t beat the original! I SAID WHAT I SAID!)

Voltron: Legendary Defender (I’ll admit I’m always wary of reboots, but this was an exceptional show! Well right up until the end that is but we’ll touch on that another day)

Dartz, during his last battle of his redemption arc is laying in the midst of the battlefield, having sacrificed his body in order to protect the very people he hated a fair few years ago - humanity.

Reflecting a lot on the past 10,000 years and wondering if the dark side of him still exists? Does his family still want him in the afterlife? Has he finally earned the gods approval? Before he finally succumbs to his injuries, he gets to be around his Three friends, the Legendary Knights of Atlantis. Seeing them as his allies once again and no longer his enemies. Only for it to be Joey, Kaiba and Yugi, people who he didnt think would come to be at his side as he was passing. Finally he drifts off and passes away, getting to be greeted by all his old allies and family again <3 Song in question

Wish of Final Effort: part 1

A great darkness begins to engulf the entire Earth, that band of shadow widening until the stars disappear. Far away from the battle, Duke and Rebecca watch anxiously as lightning flashes against that pitch black sky.

And under the ocean, the Great Leviathan roars.

"Do you hear it?" Dartz asks as the temple and the island it sits on shake. "With Seto's sacrifice, my god is almost ready."

"tell your dumb lizard to spit out my brother, you genocidal freak!!!" Mokuba snaps from his place beside his fallen brother, tears raining freely from his stormy grey eyes. "kill him, Yugi!!!!!"

Dartz rolls his mismatched eyes. "I think we've heard enough from the peanut gallery." As he speaks, an eye appears in the Seal behind him. The Seal pulsates, sending a shockwave of energy rippling through the room that knocks the spectators back, off their feet and to the floor.

Somehow, Mokuba manages to crawl back to his brother before he collapses, unconscious beside his lifeless form, one hand clinging to Seto's arm.

"There! No more distractions," Dartz laughs.

The Other Yugi gasps as he glances behind himself at his friends, crumpled on the floor beside each other. "What did you do to them?!" he demands. His hands shake.

"Don't worry, they're only sleeping. My god has no appetite for their weak and pathetic souls." Dartz's aloof demeanor changes, back to that bloodlust he radiated before, as he fixes his blue and gold eyes on his opponent. "Now it's only you and me, Nameless Pharaoh. Some quality time."

Other Yugi growls as he tears his focus away from his unconscious friends and back to the battle at hand.

Yugi and Joey stare back at him from their Mirror Knight forms, their eyes blank. Still, the Other Yugi can feel something in them, feel his Partner pleading silently with him to head the few words he had managed to utter against Dartz's control.

The Other Yugi takes a deep breath.

Thanks to Kaiba's Wish of Final Effort, he has a second chance, and 4300 Lifepoints. But across the field, Dartz is protected by an unbeatable serpent, the legendary Geh with infinite attack points.

He draws for his turn, plays Pot of Greed to draw two more cards. The first is Obnoxious Celtic Guardian, a familiar and well played monster. But the second makes his eyes widen. The nameless card given to him by the Dark Magician Girl the night he had freed Timaeus! Except now, it isn't blank. Now, the image of three knights, swords raised and crossed, appears to him clear as day, along with the name: Legend of Heart.

He can feel its power radiate inside his heart. His eyes meet his Partner's across the field, he swears he sees Yugi smile and he knows.

This is the card that will save the world.

He summons his Celtic Guardian, just to tribute the elf, as well as 1000 of his Lifepoints, to activate this new card's effect. All three legendary dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, appear on the field at once. They let out a mighty roar as they all leap into the air, flying up, up, up into the shadows of the temple's high ceiling, until a burst of bright, white light blinds the Duelists far below.

"After ten millennia in captivity, our time has finally come again, Dartz!" booms a voice that echoes through the chamber.

When the Other Yugi's vision returns, he finds three knights, the spitting image of himself, Joey, and Kaiba, on his side of the field where the dragons had stood seconds before.

The knights stare Dartz down with 10,000 years of resentment in their eyes as they face their enemy. Each knight announces his name, Sir Timaeus, Sir Hermos, Sir Critias, and they raise their swords, crossing them overhead as the art on the card the Pharaoh had played.

"In the name of Atlantis, we have been reborn to defeat you," they announce as one. Their swords strike the ground, and the three layers of Dartz's Seal of Orichalcos are destroyed.

But despite that, Dartz still laughs. "How good to see you all again. But that's some confidence you've got! Have you forgotten our last battle?"

Timaeus raises his free hand to touch his right eye, scarred over. "How could I forget? We have a score to settle, here and now."

Dartz hardly seems shaken by the knight's threats.

But the Other Yugi hesitates. Even if these knights have some effect that can destroy the immortal Geh, those two mirror knights, wearing the souls of his Partner and best friend, stand in the way. Kaiba had destroyed Mai and Rex without hesitation. But how can the Pharaoh attack the people most precious to him...?

His eyes meet Yugi's across the field again and the seconds tick by.

The knight Timaeus looks back at the Duelist who summoned him. His perplexed expression softens as he realizes what's holding the Other Yugi back. "It's okay," he assures his Duelist. "Attacking the mirror knights won't hurt them. You'll only break the spell he holds over your friends' souls."

The Other Yugi searches Timaeus's single blue eye for the truth. Finally, he nods in understanding. His chest hurts, but he orders his knights to attack the ones that shield Dartz and his serpent.

Timaeus and Hermos ready their swords.

I've been trying to plot out the prequel for my yugioh oc verse that focuses on Atlantis and it's fall (bc as we all know season 4 is Very Important To Me and bc of my Zorc is Atlantean theory) and I just.

EPIC The Musical is my main soundtrack for plotting out that storyline. So much of what I have lines up with it and I can definitely get inspiration from it but namely it's these songs;

when i say ironhart dismembered his own son i really mean it. dardanos as a god doesn’t take damage easily, only divine weapons really leave scars. 

he is lean but still toned. not bulky, but undoubtedly a strong body. he trained with the legendary knights in his youth. he continued to keep up with the training regimen even after atlantis fell. 

anyway, this only is the major scars, he has plenty of minor scars because he used to train with the legendary knights and also he’s been around for 10,000 years

Zulo: first of all you used to be a construction worker.

Tad: well not anymore!

Zulo: and then due to all the times you’ve been fired, you changed to be an archeologist.

Zulo: and then you got scared and afraid of everything during your missions and journeys and then you changed and became the bravest hero from the legendary Ramirez who taught you.

Tad: but…

Zulo: and you went to so many much more and even the one in Atlantis!

Tad: *gets out his sword of pride* how did you know that?!

Zulo: you’re just as pathetic as everyone else.

Tad: …

Tad: so? What does that mean?

Zulo: I know who you are inside and outside your knight and brave hero self, scaredy cat fat fascist hero…

Tad: well of course i-

Tad: 😨

Tad: *drops his sword*

Tad: 😰 what…did you just call me?

Zulo: I said you’re a scaredy cat fat fascist hero…

Zulo: and since your bravest hero energy is ending, it’s best if I end it now!

Tad: what? 🥺 they taught you?

Zulo: I learned it from the best, especially for that cucumber man who I am always jealous of! And maybe I can do the same as you!

Tad: like what?

Zulo: THIS!!

Zulo: *slaps tad hard*

Answer every character ask for Joey Wheeler please.

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Oh geez, I love my Joey boy so much, honestly. One thing that I think is really great, and I know I've seen other people mention this before, is just how real he feels. His characters is so multifaceted and goes through so much development, and he just feels like such a real dude.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Just, everything? He has certified golden retriever energy with his deep love and loyalties, and it's one of the best things about him.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

I do get annoyed by some of his more obnoxious behavior, and sometimes he's downright embarrassing, but that comes with the territory of being a teenager.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

I do think seeing Joey as a random bystander in a Marvel movie would be a good giggle.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

Ship songs aside, the first song I could come up with was Hall of Fame by Gym Class Heroes. Boy knows what wants. Being at the top, right up there with Kaiba and Yugi, is his repeated goal throughout the series.

6. What's something you have in common with this character?

Brooklyn roots, going by the dub. My grandfather was born there, lived most of his life there. The other thing we have in common is being not on speaking terms with our mothers. 🥰

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

The fandom never lets us forget where Joey started: violent, street-tough bully trying to scrape a life together basically on his own. As much as I love cute happy Joey chilling with the scapegoats and his pals, it would be such a disservice to forget where he came from.

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

I actually can't think of anything? I think the fandom generally treats Joey well.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

That's actually a tough question. Depends on how good he is about cleaning up after himself. I think we could probably with something out though, a deal that involves trading chores for meals.

10. Could you be best friends with this character?

Probably, but I'd probably be at least half as naggy as Tea is with him. The "omg Joey use a napkin boi" kind of nagging, but I think he'd fit right in and we could tease and be goofy.

11. Would you date this character?

I'm married, so the safe answer is no lol

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Boy had to get good at taking care of himself, so he shops deals and coupons and plans his meals around those, even when he's more financially secure. It's an ingrained habit.

Aw, I can only pick one? If I had to go based off of the Joey ships I've written, it would be Puppyshipping, but I think Puffshipping is crazy precious. And I can't shut up about Polarshipping anytime he and Mai are in a scene together, their chemistry is too good. So those are my top three. There's so many good Joey ships though!!!

16. What's your least favorite ship for this character?

I don't know that I have one? Not as far as popular ships go. I'm not big into Riskshipping, I can only see it as being unhealthy even with Mokuba aged up. (Irateshipping and Fadeshipping aren't necessarily healthy either, but they're very fascinating.)

17. What's a ship for this character you don't hate but it's not your favorite that you're fine with?

So, on the DM shipping list is Babbleshipping, which is Joey x Kisara, which I just can't imagine working (and I've never seen any fanworks for it either), but I also find the idea of Joey swooping in as Mr. Steal Your Dragon Girlfriend from Kaiba kinda hilarious.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

Joey's got a lot of great pals, but I think Tristan is just such a solid bro to him throughout the whole show (except for hitting on Serenity which is still so weird to me cause she's 12). But the advice he was giving him in Season Four regarding Mai was honestly solid advice: "give up on her, man, you're just going to get hurt if you keep going like this." It's just too sweet. Joey doesn't listen to him ofc because this boy never gives up.

19. How about a relationship they have in canon that you don't like?

Obviously I wish he had a better relationship with his dad, but it's Yugioh: good dads aren't allowed.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

I think Duke is actually a godd logical, grounding, down to earth presence for Joey to be around. Duke is not afraid to call him on his crap, and I can just see then getting along pretty well, esp once Joey's matured just a little bit more.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

I appreciate when people write him with the accent, even if it's only slightly. It's just a fun detail imo. I appreciate the details people create to fill in his exact background as a fighter and how he lives and stuff. The attention to detail with the roots of who he is as a person.

23. Favorite picture of this character?

The first thing that popped into my mind is a fanart of his previous small smile, but I assume this is asking for canon images, so... Just look how happy and cool he is!!!!! And his Lord of Red appearance is just too heckin cool for me to not include.

24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?

I think Ashe Duran from FE3H would be able to relate to him with their roots in poverty and both changing (Joey from a bully and Ashe from a thief) into becoming the best, most noble versions of themselves that they can be. They have the sweetest smiles and would do anything to protect their little siblings.

Rock from Nanbaka is a little similar I guess, but Rock comes from money and has a much more refined palette when it comes to food. Rock was still a gang member though, just like Joey, and they both think with their stomachs and are still brawlers. Also literally delinquents.

If I had to compare him to someone in UtaPri, I'd say he's got the same mischief vibes as Reiji, but the better match is the happy sunshine child Otoya Ittoki who's been through a lot and had a rough childhood but won't let it get him down. The future is full of opportunity for these boys.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

Oh geez, let me think back to twelve year old me... I really can't recall. I remember one of my first impressions in fandom was rejecting puppyshipping, partly just because it was popular, and then the more I learned about the characters separately, the more it compelled me, but that's another story.

My impression of him now? I love this man, he is a beacon of love and loyalty and getting better, which is a good example that all of us need sometimes honestly.

26. FREEBIE QUESTION!!

GUYS I KNOW SEASON FOUR HAD ISSUES BUT IT DID GOOD STUFF FOR JOEY. IT GAVE US HERMOS. IT GAVE US ATLANTIS JOEY. JOEY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS YUGI AND KAIBA IN A METAPHYSICAL SENSE. HE'S JUST AS MUCH OF A HERO THAT SAVED THE WORLD. HE'S NOT "JUST JOEY." HE IS JOEY FUCKING WHEELER, AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT.

Seriously though, imagine how validated that made Joey feel? Surrounded by shadow magic and "chosen ones" and all this talk of reincarnation and destiny, and he thinks he's just along for the ride until wham! No bitch, you're special too! That's gotta warm his heart and make him smile, even after bad days working shitty jobs, or getting second place at a tournament. He's a legendary knight, his soul is tied to the Spirit World just as strongly as Yugi and Kaiba. He'll never lose his confidence ever again as long as he remembers that.

Also, I love the idea of him having all daughters. He's going to spoil them and be so crazy protective of them. He will never let them think they're anything less than gorgeous. He will sit down to tea parties with the frilly princessy one and give fighting tips to the butch one and adore all of them and very publicly threaten their partners with bodily harm if you ever dare hurt his girls. Dad Joey makes me happy. ❤️

Thinking back on Atlantis / Atlantian Knight idea that's bounced around and further with the ygo source I'm just imagining Earl and them trying to summon / use these sealed legendary knights

Their power trapped and sealed in their beast forms just before Atlantis' destruction and probably the only thing that ended up saving their lives.

Now would it work who knows- may very well back fire and attempts to use doesn't work as they quickly turn on/resist them cause nope they only serve/served one person and that ain't you.

Unfortunately it also means the swords where their power are sealed are potentially MIA / is who knows where and until retrieved will remain trapped in draconic form or something

Struggling with CH 5 of Puzzlebox, because I'm slightly worried I'm making characters do things for ~drama~ than for character-driven reasons, and since I figure things out by writing them, time for a (very very long) character ramble! Potential spoilers under the break.

Timaeus had been a warrior of Atlantis, cursed into a weaker dragon form, and then shoved into the monster realm where he and the other Legendary Knights were frozen until it was time to fight again. Predating Egypt, he's ancient, and his situation opened the door for other heroes of old to become future monsters (Mana, Mahad, others like Gaia?).

DMG, believing the duelist destined to wield Timaeus is the Pharaoh, brings Yami and Yugi to the monster realm when the barrier is thin. While Yami and Yugi pull the sword together, there's the assumption it's Yami Timaeus reacts to. Timaeus decides no, it's actually Yugi who is his Legonadry Duelist as soon as Yami plays the Seal.

Timaeus and the other dragons/knights are monsters that play sorta as polymerization cards. They're support aids, just like they had supported the royal family of Atlantis. Specifically, the side that wasn't power-hungry, aggressive, and dark-hearted, which Yami showed himself to be by playing the Seal.

When Yugi is gone, Timaeus throws a fit and refuses to do anything to help Yami. Eventually, he does allow Yami to summon him. In part because yes, Yami has seen the error of his ways, but also because Timaeus realizes it's his best chance to help Yugi - the person he's destined to serve now that Atlantis has fallen.

After the battle with Dartz, Timaeus had originally returned to the monster realm to help the souls that crossed over settle in but is pulled back to the Puzzle when Yugi is in danger. Timaeus would do everything he can to protect him, even kill, which the knight is no stranger to. He'd done it in Atlantis, and to him, duels were actual battles and not card games. Plus, the ghosts present a huge threat to Yugi.

There's a bond between Timaeus and Yugi that makes him protective, loyal, and fierce and he doesn't understand Yami's hesitation to do what's needed to protect Yugi. There's a bond there too, he can tell. It bugs him because he feels like Yami should be like him. Protect Yugi at all costs, but Yami won't. There's a line he will no longer cross and he feels it makes Yami an inefficient and inferior protector. If only the connection between him and Yugi had been first, because Timaeus can sense Yami is his priority. Yami is who he turns to, reaches for, wants, hides behind, and it should be Timaeus Yugi looks to for protection.

So he has to prove it. He knows what's going on and will make sure the problem is solved and not just kicked down the road. Kudos to Yami for not completely giving in to darkness, but sometimes you have to use it for good. And people like Timaeus have to because Yugi will not. Should not.

Yami is still reeling from the fight with Dartz on all levels. He wants to be with Yugi all the time, appearing to him in spirit form more frequently, talking to him more, leaving his room more too. He missed him desperately, feels guilty for not listening to him, and firmly believes that Yugi makes him a better person. Not just Yugi, but everyone. It was the new memories and connection to people he's made since he'd been released that allowed him to beat Dartz and the Orichalcos. That pointed him toward a goal/reason for his restoration - defeating all the darkness in the world.

And you don't do that with more darkness. You do it with light. With forgiveness and acceptance and a wide open heart (ah! series title! I'm so clever).

Yami feels even more intensely toward Yugi at the start of the series - he's apologized, Yugi's forgiven him, and while he doesn't see himself as good as Yugi sees him he is now officially Yugi's partner in every way. He gave Yugi an Egyptian collar. They're a done deal.

But Yami wants to prove he's worthy of it. He doesn't quite feel like he is, Yugi will have to work on it, and Yami is trying to be the man Yugi sees him as / wants him to be. No more Shadow Games. The power of friendship, strength in numbers. Accepting the negative parts of people. No killing.

That's really hard in Puzzlebox. The threats are very specific to Yugi, there's no greater world threat, and this isn't a situation where they can work together in a manner they're used to. He doesn't know what's happening, doesn't know how to fix it, and Timaeus shows up swinging with a solution that works but goes against everything Yugi is and thus against everything Yami wants to be. It bothers him because in Timaeus's sword, Yami sees his mind crush, and Timaeus is goading him.

Comments about how Timaeus is the better protector, about how Yugi is his, are all things Yami reads as threats. A threat to Yami's relationship to Yugi, a threat to Yugi's heart, and a threat to Yami's desire to be better because what if Timaeus is right? What if death is the only answer here? What if Yami can't walk the path of light he wants to keep Yugi and their friends safe? What would that do to his relationship with Yugi? Especially as Timaeus's methods are something he shows visible disdain for.

Yugi is thrilled to just be back in his body and is beyond enthusiastic to now be in a relationship with Yami. They still have a lot to figure out, including roles in the bedroom, but a bigger concern is the sudden invasion of other people in the Puzzle. He'd always been a little disturbed by where the hallways went and thus never explored them, and that might have been in error.

Despite Yami and Yugi having their soul rooms invaded, it's only Yugi who has felt the impact of that - including an injury extreme enough he's not sure he could flee at the next sign of danger. He's highly dependent on Yami to handle the problem. Thankfully, Yami has the help of DM and Timaeus, but Timaeus instantly puts Yugi on edge.

While Yugi is used to Dark Magician appearing on and off in Yami's room, something Yugi relates to Yami's past, he can't think of a reason for Timaeus to be there. Plus, he's spectacularly independent. DM isn't necessarily programmed, but he reacts to Yami and seems to have areas he's protecting. Timaeus showed up unannounced, in Yugi's soul room of all places, and has shown no qualms about killing the ghosts running around. In fact, he seems to have a plan to go kill all of them.

Yugi balks - violence is wrong and he's not entirely sure all the souls are malicious. But Timaeus shows a fierce protectiveness he has a hard time dismissing. He likes it, that feeling of belonging to someone. He belongs to Yami, nothing will change that, but it's a heady feeling all the same. Being special. Being protected. (related to having been bullied so much and his insecurity)

There's a lot of overlap between Timaeus and Yami. And there's a nudge in Yugi's chest, not a bond like with Yami but something, that makes him realize he can't just let Timaeus go in an effort to curb Yami's jealousy. Timaeus is staying. Yugi tempered Yami, can he do the same with Timaeus? What does the bond with Timaeus mean? Is this someone else he has to help, just like he helps Yami, and will that delay getting Yami his memories back? He's getting sick of danger, he'll admit it, but if Timaeus is a sign of something else beyond these ghosts, he'll still do his best.
