My dad just brought up the fact Leafs fans don’t like Bert. I guess it was because he was laughing at Marchand chirping the Leafs bench??? And because he said Marchand is actually a nice guy 💀

I guess a lot of people are saying don’t be surprised if Bert somehow comes back to Boston (or anywhere that isn’t Toronto).

oh man i don't mean to shit on the leafs i really don't. i get that the laughing at marchy thing didn't look good in the context of that game & that hit. it's just. real hockey fans baffle me. what do you mean you "don't like him" because he "doesn't play good" and "giggles on the bench" what kinda logic????

#my perspective on sports has been so warped by the fact that im 1 not american 2 a bruins fan #because like. rivalries mean nothing to me #and i forget that marchand isnt Universally Beloved #even though iiiii think thats how everyone should feel about him #laughing at marchy?? only fair. he's a funny little thing #but yea no i logged onto twitter dot com by mistake and the leafs fans uhm. dont necessarily agree w me #please give him back if u dont want him we'll treat him so good
