I just love how Robin picks and chooses what information he stores over the years. Like in the first episode he knows what an architrave is but a car is "box on wheels".

AU where Franka doesn't get approval for the transfer and instead has to cut and run to Rhodes Island alone. Liskarm just misses finding out and isn't able to follow. and then they reunite some years down the line for whatever reason, Franka happy at Rhodes Island but still a little lonely and Liskarm saying she's fine but being at Blacksteel for so long has made her colder and harsher and just plain miserable.

(it isn't all bad, she at least has Jessica and Vanilla, but they can't get under her skin the way Franka could. Liskarm swears that Franka would get under skin sometimes just to dig out the bad feelings.)

(and Franka has people. she's surrounded by people she cares about. operators cut from the same cloth as her, that will charge headlong into battle beside her. colleagues who will nag her about sleeping and eating and training and mission parameters. friends who will rag on her for her choice of reading material. but Liskarm was all of those things rolled into one. and she is not here)

Okay so if we're doing the thing where we base operator relationships off of synergies (e.g. blemrock) then like... Ptilopsis has gotta be one of the most popular operators on the landship, right?

Like she doesn't enable any operators to *quite* the degree that blem enables mudrock or anything but the vast majority of operators at least appreciate having her around and being deployed with her.

Sure she's kind of weird and you have to get used to her style of communication but if you're a RI combat operator it's not like a Liberi who talks like a computer and makes corny jokes about it even makes the top ten weirdest coworkers you've had to deal with in the past month.

Joyce is on a lot of christmas card lists and at least gets invited to most of the parties on the landship is what I'm saying.

We were getting ready for our trip to the rice fields, bioluminescing on the ceiling of an empty dorm room, when an angry lady came in and set up a keyboard thing with a laser light projector and music!

We would have tried slipping out through the vent like we usually do, but then other people showed up and it was hard to move without being noticed! There was a short Sarkaz lady and a sneaky Savra boy! And then one of our kin we really have to hide from came in with more music discs!

We were getting tired from clinging to the ceiling for so long, but then the computer Liberi lady knocked and asked "Is this place like a disco rave?" and a loud robot followed her and started flashing lights, so everybody ducked behind stuff, giving us the chance to get away!
