Dad's Babygirl -Pedri González
Inspired by the video of Pedri being incredibly sweet to that babygirl at the LaLiga ceremony!
Note: Apparently Pedri doesn't have a solo picture with the throphy☠️🥴*Sighs in defeat*, but here's one with my in-laws🤭😌
Summary: You and your babygirl are supporting your favorite '8' at his first LaLiga ceremony.
You met Pedri when you both were sixteen, at seventeen you entered in a romantic relationship, have been together for three years and eleven months ago had a little blessing, a little unexpected blessing but a very welcomed one. Your little babygirl, Mía. Mía González.
She was the eyes of everyone in the family, yours and Pedri's. Both of you managed to make it work, at the beggining it was hard but you as a strong couple and as a good team with the help of your parents, eventually got the rhythm of the things and adapted to your new lifestyle.
You never thought about having a baby at a young age but now you can't imagine your live without your little princess.
"Gonna be good?" Pedri asked you once more, his hand on your thigh carressing it softly with his thumb as he drived towards Camp Nou, he wasn't playing because of a discomfort in his right thigh but he was going to be in the LaLiga winning celebration.
"Yes, mi amor. Don't worry, we'll be also with Fer and your parents" You put your hand on top of his smiling. Your promise ring noticeable as Pedri couldn't help but smile.
"Cualquier cosa me dices, ¿Sí? No quiero que estés incómoda o estresada y mucho menos con la señorita que ha estado muy revoltosa el dia de hoy" (You tell me if anything happens, yeah? I don't want you to be uncomfortable or stressed and mostly with the señorita that has been very moody today) He looked quickly behind where your baby was sleeping in her baby seat.
"She's sleeping, hopefully that little nap extends the whole match" Pedri laughs knowing she had already half an hour asleep and her naps usually last for about a whole hour. You laughed "Only one can hope" You say to him and he laughed a little more
Indeed, Mía had been moody today from screaming around the house, not wanting to eat her lunch, resulting in you forcing a bit of her meal into her mouth, kicking and throwing her toys at the wall. You were delighted when she pulled her arms up to you and fell asleep in your chest.
"However, it's not the first time we have been to a game, Pepi"
"Hostias, eso lo sé" (Yeah, well I know that) He smiled "But I always worry for my girls. I just don't want anything bad to happen. Not to her and definitely not to you." You smile leaning over to kiss his cheek
"Mi campeón" You whispered as he grabbed your hand and pulled it up to his lips "We'll be fine, don't worry, this is your night" You smiled pulling his hand to your lips as well. When he was done parking, he got out as you grabbed yours and Mía things, you felt both of yours and Mía's doors open and smiled at your man and babydad.
"Look who's awake" Pedri said grabbing from you the ear plugs to put them to Mía softly.
She was softly babbling, still sleepy
"Hi bonita" Pedri said getting her softly out of her seat and grabbing her into his arms, Mía let herself fall into his shoulder wrapping her little arms around him. He grabbed your hand as you started walking inside the stadium "Sure you don't wanna sit with me?"
"We'll be fine" You smile watching Rosy come down to you, she wrapped you in a big and warm hug softly swinging you both side to side
"Oye mamá, te ves muy guapa" You blush giggling
"Thank you, Rosy. You are looking really good too" She smiled before moving towards her son and her granddaughter while Fernando, Pedri's dad came over to hug you.
When you turned around Rosy was with the babygirl as Pedri came up to you to greet his dad and turn his attention to you
"Sure-?" You laugh nodding
"We'll be fine, amor. Don't worry" He nodded smiling lightly, he wrapped you in his arms quickly giving you a few seconds long kiss
"Te quiero"
"Y yo a ti, lindo" He pecked your lips once more before returning his attention to the baby giving her a few cheek kisses as well and one to her mom's cheek
"Me tengo que ir pero si algo pasa-" (I've gotta go but if something happens-)
"Que no pasará" (It won't) Fernando said making Pedri sigh a little blushing, he just wanted to protect you all.
"You know where I am" He finished, you nodded and watched him walk towards his place as you went to yours. Getting into your seats you greeted Fer, who had came from the bathroom and even greeted, Pedri's cousin.
Rosy passed you back Mía who was slightly fuming throwing her hands at you, she stayed calm the rest of the night. You watched the game quietly and even though Barcelona lost, you screamed and yelled when Robert did that goal in the last minute.
Pedri had gone inside the tunnel to change into his kit so he could be present of the ceremony, you were pointing to Mía where her dad was, as she excited wriggled her legs. She was soon to be one year but you hadn't make it possible to make her say dad or mom.
Even though you wanted her to say mom so badly first, that night you wanted her to say dad and put the cherry on top for Pedri's cake. You took of one of her ear plugs and talked in her ear
"Papá, Mía, over there, that's papá" You said smiling widely as she started babbling. You looked at her, she was a copy of both of you, the perfect combination.
Pedri held her and she looked like him but you held her and she also looked like you.
The things that she did got from her dad were her love for bananas and those big brown eyes, meanwhile she had your smile and hair.
"Venga, vamos abajo" Fer said, grabbing Mía's bag as Rosy lend you a hand whilst walking down the stairs. Once you were inside the pitch your eyes scanned the crowd to see your dark haired boy, when you suddenly feel hands on your waist, that made you turn around.
You saw the pretty eyes and beautiful you were so in love with, leaning into him
"Congratulations, pepi. You deserve this so much" You said looking up at him
"Gracias mi vida" He smiled kissing you softly before he returned his attention to the baby who was asking for him with her chubby hands "Wanna come with papá?" You moved her side to side, doing as if you were gonna give her to Pedri but backed away and he followed your game making Mía laugh
"Pa...pa!" Pedri and you stopped everything you were doing
"Did she...?"
"¡Papá!" She repeated herself over and over again as you and Pedri shared amazed looks, eventually people around you three heard Mía's yells and the ones who knew she hadn't said her firsts words yet, smiled excited
"Sí, bonita. Yo soy papá" Pedri said as you gave her to him, his eyes were glassy and his smile was bigger than before.
"¡Papá!" She was yelling over and over again, liking the reaction she got from us, eventually Fer, Rosy and Fernando were hugging us and hyping her up to say it once more.
And from that moment forward, she didn't left Pedri's arms, and it's not like Pedri wanted to let her go, Mía did not even let herself grab from you, there was this part where Pedri had to go and do an interview, but when Mía saw your hands extended to grab her and Pedri's arms undoing his strong hold to pass her she started fussing and grabbing herself from her dad's jersey, which she had one exactly like his but with the words "Papá" written
"C'mon, Mía. Papá needs to go"
"Don't worry, I'll handle it" Pedri winked at you, kissing your lips and turning around to make that interview
Later you were talking with Rosy when you saw Pedro and Mía still sat on the grass with the two flags of Pedri's town and birthplace on the floor, when Mía stood up and hugged her dad once more before placing a kiss on his cheek as Pedro laughed and tickled her. You zoned out from what Rosy had said and looked at the two loves of your life playing around as if nothing, as if they were at home.
"The three of you are so whipped for each other" You turned to Rosy with a smile "Mía dies for you and for Pedro, whenever she doesn't see you two around she goes crazy. Mi hijo y tú are the same with her. And with each other. I'm so glad you're part of our familia now, Y/N" She hugged you tightly
"Thank you for letting me be part of it" Both of you looked once more at Pedro and Mía "Mía loves me" You said after a few seconds of silence ", but she's definitely a daddy's girl"
"And Pedro's crazy for his babygirl" Rosy completed "Like father, like daughter" You laughed "Go with them" She pushed you lightly as you walked towards them
"Look, ahí viene mamá" You heard Pedro say as Mía looked at you surprised but then smiled, you sat in front of Pedro and Mía "Too far away, señorita" He said wanting you closer to him, you smiled and did what he asked "This is one of the best weeks and days of my life"
"You deserve each and every single one of them, Pepi. You've worked hard for what you wanted and you got it" You smiled at him pushing a bit of his hair out of his face "There are no words for me to describe how proud of you I am. You're simply amazing"
He smiled kissing your lips "And you two are what makes me wanna get better everytime" You couldn't resist and kissed him once more before leaning over and kissing your Mía, who shyly got her face inti her dad's neck, you two laughing "My best supporters, my girls" He hugged you both tightly
Until you felt how Pedri let himself fall onto the grass, taking the two of you down laughing with him watching the starry Catalan night with a smile.
"I've got everything I wanted, I'm really happy with it but I don't think I need anything else besides you two"

culers painting messi and his dad as villains are actually insane like you can tell dickriding laporta for so long ate away at their grey matter bc this?
messi and his dad made this happen. not laporta who's been too busy macho posturing and engaging in proxy wars with tebas, all of which amounted to nothing significant. jorge messi pressuring laliga into approving the viability plan did that. even if messi doesn't come back you ungrateful lot will be benefiting from him, the same way you slandered him for the burofax which ultimately resulted in barto getting ousted from the club. pep was 100% in the right when he said for the last 15 years messi's been the backbone of this utterly abysmal institution. since you can't acknowledge that just keep his name out of your mouths

EA SPORTS FC 25 - Career Mode Deep Dive
Author: Lootbar.gg
Live Start Points
All new to both Manager and Player Career modes, Live Start Points bring you closer to your favorite clubs and leagues, allowing you to live out the biggest storylines from the real world during the 2024/2025 football season.
Women's Manager Career
In a first for any football game, players now have the option to play Manager Career in five of the top leagues in women's football. Women's Manager Career has all of the Men's Manager Career features, plus unique challenges that exist solely within the women's game.
FC IQ in Career
From creating a squad that fits your selected Team Playstyle, to pre-match analysis of your opponent's style defined by their manager's real-world tactics, FC IQ influences core Career Mode features for a more comprehensive matchday and tactical experience.
Live Start Points & Snapshots
In FC 25, you'll be able to manage some of the top men's and women's teams from any game across the 2024/2025 season. On the men's side, you can take control of teams in the Premier League, EFL Championship, LALIGA EA SPORTS, Ligue 1 McDonald's, Serie A Enilive, and Bundesliga. In women's football, you can play as teams from the Barclays Women's Super League, Arkema Première Ligue, the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, and Liga F. In all, we have Live Start Points for 10 leagues and 12 cup competitions, enabling you to follow along with real results and jump in during any game of the season.
Each Live Start Point will reflect the current points totals, goals scored, transfers, cup progress, player form, injuries, suspensions, and even any potential points deductions. Our aim is to release new game weeks regularly, giving you the option to play alongside authentic competitions and potentially change their outcomes depending on your own goals and performance.
Additionally, Snapshots capture some of the most pivotal moments of the season, enabling you to easily jump in and take a team over across a selection of European leagues. While no one can be sure what stories The World's Game will conjure up this year, you can expect Snapshots to reflect events like manager sackings, big player transfers, surprise unbeaten streaks, and underperforming clubs turning things around. Our goal with Snapshots is to provide you with real-world scenarios to challenge yourself with and enjoy.
We'll be kicking off Live Start Points and Snapshots later in 2024 and you can keep checking in through the season for new Snapshots and game weeks right up to the end of the season. Stay tuned for an announcement soon on when this is coming.
Live Start Points and Snapshots will also be available in Player Career, where players will be able to take over real-world situations, either as real-world players or as Avatars they have created themselves, and see how they can affect the future.
FC IQ in Career Mode
While you may have heard about FC IQ in our other FC 25 Deep Dives, today we're talking about Tactical Presets, an expansion of our previous Tactical vision system.
Each Tactical Preset is defined by a set of Key Roles covering the pitch, alongside a specific build-up and defensive approach combination. All Tactical Presets are compatible with all formations available, with the formation slightly impacting the Presets requirement. For example, Tiki Taka requires a Central Midfielder to take the Deep Lying Playmaker Role, but if your formation does not have a Central Midfielder, that role can be taken by a Central Defensive Midfielder.
The refresh of Tactical Presets and introduction of Player Roles helps give new meaning to the coaching staff. On top of what they were already doing (Attribute increases), staff now also possess the ability to raise the Role Familiarity of players that are set to the key roles on the pitch by one level. For this to happen, the coach's Tactical Knowledge must be higher than the natural Role Rating of said player and the player must be able to play the position in the first place.
Most formations require one key Player Role per department but allow more, which opens up new opportunities and dilemmas for managers. For instance, as explained above, only one Deep Lying Playmaker is needed in midfield to apply Tiki Taka. Hiring an expert Tiki Taka coach in the midfield department means you can improve any Central Midfielder who's not already a natural Deep Lying Playmaker++. So each manager can decide, depending on the squad's natural abilities and opposition, whether to play with extra freedom and more effective playmakers in midfield or with more safety by also assigning a Holding role.
With this new system, we want to offer players more flexibility and more possible combinations between formation, Tactical Preset, Roles, and coaching staff choices.
Additionally, scouting for players now also includes the option to look for players with specific Roles and/or fit for specific Presets, enabling you to find the perfect players for your tactical approaches.
Additionally, the Squad Hub and Transfer Hub are also updated to surface Role information on players.
Development Plans 2.0
Development plans are now fueled by Player Roles and include Role Growth potential, with each Role having its own Development Plan that focuses on a set of Attributes and abilities. The Role Rating of each player determines the potential of Key Attributes for that Role.
Over time, if a player is growing consistently on the Attributes that are Key to a Role, there's a chance to trigger a Role Rating level up. When that happens, it increases the potential of those Attributes, unlocking a new stage of growth.
Moreover, Development Plans now surface useful contextual information such as factors that influence the growth or development stage each player is in, Growth, Peak, or retirement.
Press Conferences & Morale Sweet Spot
In FC 25 we are evolving the morale system from an approach of “the more, the better” to a “sweet spot” system. That means that if players' morale gets over a certain level, players are no longer very happy, they become complacent instead. In this state, their mental Attributes are reduced instead of increased. The ideal interval for morale aka " the sweet spot" to keep the player very happy varies, with some players being more calm and professional than others.
We've also revised Press Conferences so that questions asked by the press are now fueled by Tactical choices, opponent setup, and match statistics.
Youth Academy
The Youth Academy's scouting capabilities have been upgraded in FC 25, providing an expansive selection of over 160 countries to explore for emerging talent. Whether you're looking for the best of the best or to uncover the next great hidden gem, this extensive range of scouting locations opens the door to discovering diverse players with unique playing styles and backgrounds, with the goal of enriching your team's potential.
You can now scout up to four specific positions, allowing you to focus on areas that need reinforcement now or in the future. Whether you're looking for a commanding center-back, a creative attacking midfielder, a prolific striker, or a solid goalkeeper, the Youth Academy's scouting options let you zero in on the exact positions you're looking for.
With the introduction of FC IQ, players now also have the ability to scout for three distinct Roles within the selected positions. Regardless of what your strategy calls for, we want you to have the ability to better shape your team's future.
We're also excited to introduce a new way to interact with your Youth Academy through Rush matches in FC 25 Manager Career. Now you can engage in 5v5 matches with your youth players (with an AI-controlled goalkeeper), offering you additional control over the development of your future stars. You have the flexibility to play with these prospects using their current Overall Ratings or by using their full potential Rating to see how they might perform on the biggest stage in the future.
Rush matches in Manager Career are organized as bi-monthly tournaments, and winning these competitions can provide a significant increase to the development of your Youth Players, accelerating their growth and helping them reach their full potential faster.
And finally, youth players will now look younger and you will be able to see them physically grow during their development in the Youth Academy.
Women's Football in Manager Career
We are delighted to share that, for the first time, players will be able to manage some of the top women's teams from elite European leagues and the NWSL. Manager Career will feature 5 licensed leagues, Barclays Women's Super League, Arkema Première Ligue, the National Women's Soccer League, the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, Liga F, and the prestigious Women's Champions League competition will be playable as well.
Women's Manager Career saves will feature all of the Manager Career features you'd expect, alongside authentic managers, financial models, contracts, and wage structures that reflect the rapidly growing women's side of the sport. We can't wait for players to jump into the world of women's football in Manager Career in which you can expect to find new and exciting challenges previously unseen in EA SPORTS FC.
For added flexibility and player choice, you can move between men's and women's leagues within the same career to experience both sides of the beautiful game.
Customization
We've been listening to player feedback on in-game customization and have focused on delivering a series of settings that will enable you to better control the way you simulate your gameplay experience and AI behavior. For example, you can now select from a series of predetermined presets tuned for specific situations and gameplay moments.
One of the most requested features around this area relates to giving players different choices with respect to gameplay balancing. Players can toggle between a Realistic setting which would lock the gameplay sliders to values closer to current life-like football, and a Classic setting which is meant to highlight the classic feeling of playing through the established EA SPORTS FC gameplay. Of course, a very detailed Custom setting is also available, where players can adjust the toggles and the values for both the CPU and their own side, letting you set your preferred experience.
For players who want to really challenge themselves, they can raise the difficulty of their saves by making transfer negotiations stricter, setting the board expectations to be harsh, slowing the training plan recovery rates down, creating a transfer embargo, and playing with simulation-style gameplay.
For players who want a more relaxed experience, they could create a game where a huge financial takeover has just happened, where they can't get sacked, where there's no Scouting, or where players develop faster.
Settings such as Match Settings and Gameplay Simulation Settings can still be modified mid-save and do not require you to start a new career, while other settings are locked in when a save is first created. Customization options are also available in Player Career, not just Manager Career.
New Menu Visuals and Social Media
Our FC 25 UI is not just an aesthetic upgrade for the game, but more importantly a functional one, with the addition of the Task List.
The Task List is a dynamic rundown of pending actions that players may want to engage with during their saves. From squad management to youth academy, and other activities, all issues and points of interest are brought up front for your convenience. We want to enable you to make immediate decisions and take quick actions, ensuring you're on top of things in both the Manager Career and the Player Career. While we believe the introduction of the Task List will help players get to the most pressing items that need their managerial attention, players will still be able to use the menu to navigate as they wish.
On the topic of being up to date, another change in FC 25 is the addition of Social Media. Social Media in FC 25 is a virtual platform where players can see the most important news regarding their achievements, match results, upcoming matches, transfer news, and much more. Clubs, Leagues, Players, Fans, and News Outlets are going to be posting, and covering narratives from both on and off the pitch. Whether you're managing a top team in a Manager Career or a player in a Player Career, you're sure to be the subject of many stories, being a hero at times, and an anti-hero at others.
We're excited to announce that we've secured some of the biggest names in sports media to deliver these social media stories. The likes of Fabrizio Romano will be helping you stay on top of all the transfer rumors and deals, while media outlets like The Athletic will keep you updated about the results and reactions across the world of FC.
Player Career with ICONs
In FC 25 Player Career, you can now play with some of the greatest names in football history and bring them into the modern game. You can dive into the Player Career experience by selecting one of the available ICONs and see how they would thrive in modern-day football. You can make your own history with ICONs presented at the peak of their ability, enabling you to jump straight into high-level action.
The list of available ICONs will update and change over time to give players different experiences. Be sure to check in throughout the season to see which ICONs you can play with.
Origin Story
Our aim with the addition of the new Origin Stories is to bring in some fresh perspectives to Player Careers. Three paths, each with its own advantages and challenges, will guide you through the start of your career, bringing in different opportunities and new approaches to Player Career.
You can start off as a child prodigy, coming from a legendary football family, to prove that you can survive the pressures of the role and create your own legacy while taking your famous family name to the next level.
You can also play as someone coming from humble beginnings but with an unshakable dream and loads of talent. Show everyone that it's not about where you come from, but how hard you work if you're going to make your dreams come true.
And finally, you can begin your journey as a player who has known the glories of top-class football, but has sustained a career-threatening injury and is now making their comeback. Show everyone that you are stronger than ever and ready for any challenge.
If you have your own story idea for your Career, you can follow your own dreams and set up your starting conditions as part of a Custom Start. You will be able to set up your Age, Skill Level as well as Personality type. Whether you want to set up a young player with average skill but an undying love for your hometown club, an experienced player with all the skills who is a true maverick, or anything in between, Custom Start enables you to create your own story. If you're happy starting from the traditional point of a young player that you can develop and mold, you can select the Clean Slate option and see where that takes you. Whichever way you start your career, just remember that once selected, the Origin will be fixed to that particular save file.
Player Customization
In FC 25 we are looking to enhance Avatar creation. You can now create a more realistic-looking Avatar, with a large variety of new face customization options. Through the introduction of Cranium Technology, players are able to sculpt each element of their avatar's face, down to every little detail.
You can create male and female players and be as varied as you wish in their setup, with tattoos and accessories available for your Avatars to bring out their personality and reflect your preferences. Alongside a variety of hairstyles and skin tones for everyone, we want you to have more control over the unique looks of your Avatar.
You'll also be able to set new celebratory and set-piece animations, as well as a number of running styles that can complement your appearance.
Women's Football in Player Career
In addition to managing the top women's teams in Manager Career, you can start a Player Career in women's football. Similarly to the Manager career, player activities, authentic contract lengths, salary values, and our events system look to mimic the challenges of the real-world game.

I follow football - not something you see in a woman
Ever since the World Cup in Qatar, and since I started playing Fifa 22, I got interested in football, and started watching it more - not just the local league (that is Croatian league). Mostly I follow the clubs where footballers from my country play in. That goes for Man City (Gvardiol and Kovacic), Real Madrid (Modric) and Dinamo Zagreb (everyone in my family cheers for Dinamo).
I mostly watch Premier League because it's so fun and interesting, and some of the players are just, well, good. Apart from Man City, I follow Liverpool (some Croatian players played in that club like Lovren and Biscan) and Tottenham (Modric played in there before Real Madrid, and Kranjcar as well if I remember correctly). Recenlty, I started watching West Ham games as well - They have good players. Then there's Man United. I actually watch them because they're too funny, conceding goal and kicking themselves out of Champions League. It's not the same Man United as it was during Fergusson's time, and while Rooney was still playing. I sometimes switch to LaLiga, but mostly when Real Madrid plays. Here and there I switch to Ligue 1, but not so much, only to see results when PSG, Marseille or Lyon plays. I sometimes switch to Serie A, when either Inter (Brozovic and some other Croatian players played in it), Milan (out of nothing), Torino (Vlasic, but he's not so good, everyone knows that) or Atalanta (Pasalic plays in it, and they're interested in bringing Baturina from Dinamo). Then there's Sassuolo where Erlic plays, but I rarely watch them, and Lecce - I only heard recently about them that they have Pongracic. I have access to some great football leagues, but not Bundesliga. Lots of Croatian players play in Germany like Kramaric (Hoffenheim), Majer (Wolfsburg), Beljo (Augsburg), Stanisic (on the loan in Bayer Leverkusen from Bayern) and Jakic (on the loan in Augsburg from Eintracht). For Bundesliga I only watch the results on my phone app. I wish I could also watch the dutch league - They have Ivanusec in Feyeenord and Sosa and Sutalo in Ajax.
Now the players: of course, my favorite players in Premier League are Gvardiol and Kovacic. Kovacic has very good dribbles, and Gvardiol can literally play multiple positions (and be a wall in defense). I also like Haaland (yes, another Man City player). The guy is like a goal machine, not to mention that he looks like he's not from this planet. Then there's Foden. For his age, he really plays like he is a big star. Maguire - well, I only like him for being a laughing stock. I can't understand how his long passes end up at the opposite player's foot, and what is he doing in defense line. If you ask me, it's gotta be how Man United kept changing formations and tactics through the last few years that somehow affected him.
Now is there a player I don't like at all? In Premier League, that is Alvarez. It has nothing to do with how he plays, but because of what he is: a jerk that ran into Livakovic at Qatar World Cup and got a penalty. The VAR was sleeping throughout the whole game against Argentina that they didn't see that Alvarez was the one who ran into Livakovic on purpose, and fell to the ground with a smile on his face. Then there's Messi. People can say all they want that he is a genius and a good person, but I don't think the same. I think the whole World Cup thing was made for him to lift the trophy, just a product placement stunt, being Fifa's pet and all. And the ballon'd'or this year was given to him, for what? For being a best player only because Fifa wants everyone to think that? It's for all those reasons that everyone on Balkan likes Ronaldo more than Messi. And also, Joao Felix - I think he's the one that goes after money, not the game. He switched Atletico for Barcelona, and everyone in Madrid was angry about it. If it's my country, it would be like switching Dinamo for Hajduk. Not to mention that Joao Felix even celebrated the goal against his former club. That's not what a player does. If you ask me, he is also a jerk, nothing like Ronaldo as everyone claims he is.
I know some of you can't agree with my opinions, but it's what it is, you can't change it.
