i'm thankful that i'm in this tiny but warm fandom i'm in, like i found a tiny worn down house in the middle of the forest but it's full of love and warmth with flowers around it that i wont hesitate to live inside hehe.

i'm grateful of that 1% chance of the algorithm showing me a pic of that Wish concept art in IG and i was never the same again. if that 1% didn't showed up then im probably wouldn't be here, having fun with drawing and reading everyone's reimagines/rewrites/AUs, and struggling with navigating around tumblr's tools and reblogging system

anyways, after demanding everyone to introduce themselves of who's who after being spawned in another place, i'd join the group hug but is the one who's going to start suffocating /jk

i'm pretty sure some of y'all—or at least few— already knew each other longer than i am so basically i'm the gnarpy 👽 in the corner because im someone who lives in the other side of the world and just spawned suddenly lololol. just my natural reaction as someone who haven't seen foreigners close in person.

I've already visualized my reimagine, Once Upon A Wish is only series of illustrations and it is up to the audience to truly understand the story through artworks! Sorry i don't have much time to be able to produce a written story

I'm having one of those moments where I come up with random questions instead of focusing on doing my thing, so I came up with this question for the wish fandom:

Blog #1: Recordings/Radio

For my interview project, I decide to interview my grandpa on my mom’s side of the family. I started off by asking my grandpa what he used for his music back home, when he was younger. He talked about how he really got into music as a late teen and had his own record player. He said the types of records he had consisted of 44′ s and 33′s. He said jokingly and I quote, “I had a decent amount of records, but of course my little brother had a shit ton more then me. The youngest always gets pampered, don't they?” I asked him what type of artist he liked to listen to and he listen a few off. He said he really enjoyed; Frank Sinatra, Kstar, Dean Martin, and Elvis who was just becoming popular. I asked him who his favorite artist was, which he responded that he loved Dean Martin, since it was always “Drinking with Dean” when he came on.

My grandpa joined the Army and fought during the Korean war. I thought it would be interesting to ask him a little about how communications were during his time served. I asked him what outside entertainment he had during downtime, whenever they could find it. His response was that they did have some battery powered radios, but they weren't used to often. There were about 4 stations that they could connect to. Typically they would only be able to receive one of the four on any given day, assuming it wasn't storming. He said the stations they would often connect to were ones broadcasting from Japan. They would play music some times, but more often they were just updates of events that were occurring.

I then proceeded to ask my grandpa how he personally used communication for the war. My grandpa was actually the head communicator for fire mission. Essentially my grandpa and roughly 5 other people would run wires about 5 miles from a main camp as they would scout closer towards the enemy. Even further down from his group an individual scout would then use a battery powered radio since running wires for additional miles that close to the enemy was nearly impossible. The radio was roughly a foot by a foot and 5 inches wide. This made it easy enough for a single person to transport. The scout would then relay the enemy’s position to my grandpa. My grandpa and his fire mission squad would calculate on a map roughly where the enemy was pinpointed. He would then proceed to relay the information through the wires they laid down back to the main camp. The main camp would have 6 large battery guns that would then adjust their aim according to what they would told. My grandpa said that he would start of the transition with the words, “Fire mission, battery's adjust.” After that he would then say one of a few different phrases to signify what type of ammo the battery’s should use. There was; “Fuse delay”, for enemy’s that were dug in. “Air burst”, for planes. “Quick delay” which was for normal land troops. He said for the most part communication was reliable and clear enough that there weren't miscommunications.

i have no idea what to name my AU honestly. It's just 'Wish Reimagined'.

But i have a hard time choosing names 😭

Celestial Kingdom (?)

Welp, can't choose names for star boy too 😭

Sidus? Altair? Castor? Linus? Sirius? Polaris? Arche?

I am not sure what to call starboy other than just 'Star'. Aster is already a popular name and is already taken.

Likely gonna choose between Sidus, Altair, and Castor but it'll take time for me to make a decisive choice which name for him in the final.

Also i don't know if any of these titles and names are already taken so I can't be sure what to choose.

no i haven’t seen any of the TMNT shows in this newer generation. last time i’ve watched was the classic TMNT and the classic live action (i felt old now lol)
