These knickers date to 1905. This was the Edwardian era, but styles of undergarments often tend to persist and change slowly. These really reflect a Victorian trend and are a mixture of different laces (machine made) with handmade Irish crochet inserts. If you look closely, these were also embroidered with the owner's monogram (near the waist - right of centre).
