ok I have to ask about kit

favorite thing about them: I think she actually cared a lot about the Baudelaires - yes, she dragged them into the hotel/trial plot, but she also tried to provide them some comfort, told them little things about their parents (like how their father used to tie his hair with a ribbon), had a picnic with them, and in general treated them better during the short time they got to spend together than most other adults in ASOUE did. She also cared a lot about her brothers and Beatrice and Bertrand and, I think, overall she’s a person who cares a lot, maybe even too much sometimes.

least favorite thing about them: well, judging by TUA she recruited two kids from Prufrock and we all know what “recruited” means 

favorite line: the one that came to my mind immediately is this - “Our families have always been close, even if we had to stay apart from one another. Now, finally, we are all together, as if we are one family.”

random headcanon: used to smoke a lot but quit when she found out she was pregnant

unpopular opinion: kitlaf as a ship doesn’t do much for me - it’s definitely important narratively, and the scece with them reciting poems is beautiful, but for some reason I’ve never really been interested in it. Probably because neither Olaf not Kit are among my most favourite (sugar bowl gen) characters so I’m not invested in either of them enough to be invested in their relationship
