People who read Jinx: Kim Dan's such a weakling! He never stands up to Joo Jaekyung/anyone!

Dan in canon:

sucker-punched Jaekyung twice (once intentionally)

resigned from his job, refused to go back, multiple times, to Jaekyung's face

despite knowing how powerful Jaekyung is, and threats, got up in the middle of sex and left to go check in on his grandmother

took on a delivery job of his own volition to get money for a gift

did long night (maybe overnight) work for his job because he was so passionate

stepped into the ring with a powerful MMA fighter because he wanted to improve his work, and stayed in the ring after getting beaten; also used his wish for winning on a friend

rejected a popular, rich actor: was prepared to end the relationship of his own volition

stood up for Yoon-gu

worked multiple jobs to support his grandmother, despite how it was quite literally killing him, and how it hurt his pride to do those jobs

insisted on going into work after being run ragged by a vibrator in a car (he committed, he just needed relief beforehand)

downed a cup of alcohol that was nearly the size of his body

took care of a dog, ran a dying puppy to the vet

advocated for himself to Jaekyung to: 1) get assurance of being paid when they first started having sex, 2) get an advance payment when he needed to move out

refused to turn over info on Jaekyung/otherwise join Jaekyung's competitor's team in part out of loyalty but also because he found the entire situation repulsive

stood up for himself and then left when Jaekyung was mocking him for being poor

insisted on Jaekyung taking breaks because Dan is committed to his work and wants the best for his patients

is very good at his job, which requires a large amount of medical knowledge, which he, presumably, had to study for some time, and which he attempts to keep up to date on

Y'all can barely be bothered to reblog fanart, comment on fanfics, or crop the top of screenshots to remove the scanlation HTMLs. Do not even begin to pretend you know what strength is, or insist that Dan doesn't have it. Being nice, supportive, and passionate /= being weak. It takes a lot of strength to be nice, and a lot of strength to get up and keep going through your day when the world keeps hitting you down. He's a bit naive still, has self-esteem issues that often make him more biddable to others, and is anxious, and he is often submissive in bed, but that doesn't mean he's weak, and it's weird so many people insist he is. (Also being physically weak is not the same as emotionally weak; you'd be physically weak too if you didn't eat or sleep all that much, overworked, and otherwise neglected self-care for prolonged periods of time)
