Im really hoping we get more of Emmalyn in Mystreet cause when you think about it her memories are so messed up?

In s4 when she was still ghost she adores zane and explains she died for her lover and can only remeber his name, Zane. WHICH IS SO MESSED UP!! In diaries she was married to kenmur, she didnt die trying to protect him, HE DIED trying to save her FROM ZANE. She watched Zane kill her husband.

She doesnt remember her lovers name she remembers her lovers killer name. In present day mystreet she loves Zane and cant even remember Kenmur.

Thinking about this I cant wait to see how she reacts to getting all her memories back cause that would make some amazing drama.

I was watching S2 last night and I did not connect Levin & Malachi’s voices at all. I thought Malachi was voiced by Andy Cowley (Garroth & Jeffory's main VA) because to me it sounded like Garroth and Malachi speak with the same cadence, but Kellen Goff's always voiced Malachi. Andy Cowley used to voice LEVIN though - he voiced him at the start of S2 and Kellen later took over as Levin's VA is both MCD & MyS.

We're learning things today, y'all.

Mystreet Laurance, Garroth, Dante, and Travis should play dungeons and dragons together. Additional occasional members also include Nichole, Vylad, Lucinda, Aaron (joins much later on and becomes a permanent member of the party), Blaze, Daniel, Dottie, Kenmur, Aphmau, and Sasha. Banned members include Kawaii~Chan, Zane (Garroth tried to bring his little brother to join one day and Laurance ended up nearly throwing a chair at him by the end of the night), and Zenix (cheating minmaxer)

I have to be so real with you all - I did not watch Falcon whatever university whatever so um here we go

Aphmau: Hospitality (I mean c’mon the woman’s whole brand is making places great environments and being friendly to people)

Garroth: Business Administration (he’s so hr coded)

Laurance: culinary arts

Dante: education with a focus in history

Travis: Tried nursing but is squeamish and had to switch majors. Maybe something environmental related

Katelyn: I feel like she would only go to college to play volleyball and would just pick a basic major like marketing or something

Aaron: forced to do business by his family but would’ve wanted to major in something Tech related

Zane: forced business major by his father, it’s giving finance. But would’ve eat up religious study classes ;)

Nana: Pastry Arts (or whatever pastry cooks take so like culinary arts)

Lucinda: girlie in stem fr. Chemistry queen

Cadenza: English

Emmalyn: English and then so law school coded. So doctorate coded

things i want from ms s7:

- michi returns and crashes the aarmau wedding

- vylad has his main character era where he has to play detective and figure out what's wrong with his family and what exactly went down on starlight because everybody is too traumatized to say what happened (dante & laurance are the watson to his sherlock)

- the shadow knights return for one last slay

- jenny returns and oddly enough becomes besties with aphmau (jennymau toxic yuri ftw. come on, aphmau literally saved the world, she should be allowed to cheat on her fiancee with women as a treat)

- MORE TRAVIS AND AARON INTERACTIONS. the parallels are there! they could bond over being cursed souls and their messy relationships with their (deceased) fathers.

- kimcinda becomes canon. fight me. lucinda and kim are gfs. also emmalyn leaves kim's body and moves onto the afterlife with kenmur and mcd aphmau.

- nana reveals her past and her real name to the rest of the cast. she finally leaves behind her "kawaii~chan" persona, and searches for who she truly is, possibly going on a quest to track down her family with zane.

- make garrance at least implied or give garroth any boyfriend. we deserve one genuine mlm relationship that isn't just played for laughs.

- teony and ivy also return bc i said so.

- zack has a redemption arc and reconnects with aphmau ofc.

- ein's mom shows up as a villain, seeking revenge for her son's death. but when she sees how hurt and sad everybody is, she feels bad and doesn't have the heart to hurt them any further. she also finds out how much pain and suffering her son has caused to everybody, and begins to feel guilty because of how she raised ein.

- ein's ghost haunts the cast and possesses several characters. they eventually have to appease his spirit because it's the only way to get him to leave them alone and put his soul to rest. ein's spirit has very long conversations with all of his enemies — aphmau (they find out they're half-siblings which makes them both feel a mixture of disgust and sadness), aaron (they finally find one thing they can agree on, they both hate their dads, and put their rivalry to rest), blaze, daniel, dottie, rylan, kacey, katelyn, kai, gene, zack and his own mother. [+possibly an ein backstory in flashbacks/animation to finally explain his motivation in detail]. ein finally moves on to the afterlife (HELL ofc).

- elizabeth starts off as the main villain of the season. you think she's gonna do evil stuff and kill people like michael and ein did, and then BAM — halfway through the season she has a reluctant change of heart and semi-redemption arc (with zack's support) and ends up an anti-hero instead. she reunites with her family. katelyn is not happy to see her at all and is still very angry at her. but kacey warms up to her much quicker surprisingly and they spend quality mother-son time together.

- all in all pretty peaceful season with depressing undertones. it's like early, slice-of-life mystreet and late, dark mystreet fused together. there are a lot of red herring villains (michi, ein's mom, elizabeth), but none of them actually do anything evil and all of them have a change of heart. nobody dies.

- the void consumes everything. but the cast ends up creating a new dimension (with the help of the void paradox cast!) and uses the realm breaker to transport themselves into it just before the mystreet dimension is consumed and dies off. the series ends with aphmau and co swearing to build a better world in the new dimension they have created.

For example, she would most likely focus more on the relationship between Aaron and Aphmau in her rewrite. Would this still be something worth seeing or have you grown content with the unfinished series?

Things I Have Noticed/Remembered from my MCDiaries rewatch

I will be updating this as I continue my rewatch, currently everything listed is out of order, cause I've started writing this as I am on episode 64 of season 1 and I don't feel like fixing it to be in order, so sorry!

What the fuck was Garroth's "plan" he mentions to Zenix in the first episode 😭

Zenix seems to be younger then Garroth in Diaries, considering the way that Garroth talks about him, but I think in MyStreet, Zenix is either the same age or slightly older then Garroth, so far this is like, the only obvious age difference between the series (besides Travis and everyone else of course)

I forgot how entertaining Brendan's character is, he's far less annoying then I remembered

ZANE AS AN ACTUAL BAD PERSON, I LOVE HIM

I love Vylad, but I legit forgot how much he was in Diaries season 1, I thought he was in it far less

Currently at the stage of Diaries where there is no lgbt+ people, i'm very disappointed by this (we haven't even reached the queerbaiting)

KC's character is....not as bad (racist) as I was expecting, still not great though. I'm choosing to believe that KC is from Tu'lu and Maid Cafes are a thing there, and "Kawaii~Chan" is just a stage name for her work.

Y'all know how Cadenza went missing and she was actually turned into a chicken? Yeah, the way Hayden, Castor, & Laurance talk about her to Aphmau makes it sound like Cadenza is a small child. But then it turns out she's the same age, if not older, then Laurance and Aphmau.

Aphmau should've just made Joh and Hayden lovers, I'm so serious, it would make the whole Cadenza and Laurance being "close like siblings" in season 1 to I think actually being called as siblings in season 2 and in MyStreet a lot easier to understand and make a lot more sense.

Why does Kenmur have like, some sort of romance with all the girls from Meteli??? He was engaged to Sasha and is stated to have feelings for Cadenza.

I love when the episodes open from Sasha's POV, and she goes and talks to Gene and there's just no voices. I love having to pause to read what they're saying. (this point is sarcasm)

The way literally everyone reacted to learning Laurance was blind was....icky. Like, I understand Cadenza and Aphmau reacting as like "we need to find a way to bring his sight back", but the fact that it was literally EVERYONE who decided he needed to get his sight back was so weird.

I don't mind Laurance ACTUALLY getting his sight back, but I wish it was done differently. Like, personally, I'd have him like, have to wash his face with the water of the fountain of Lady Irene.

Emma & Corey, Dale & Molly, and Logan & Donna are very sweet couples.

After Zoey and KC were able to turn Cadenza back to her human form, Zoey mentions that she "recognizes Cadenza from somewhere", but I don't think this goes anywhere???? I'm assuming it was supposed to hint at like, Cadenza's backstory.

ngl, I kinda wish we got more of Zane and Kiki's relationship, I really wanna know what side of Zane Kiki actually saw.

Anyway, Kiki is currently expecting.

Nicole (my beloved) has showed up. I've decided I won't question the logic behind her iron fists being able to break bedrock, and instead say that her referencing her iron fists just made me think of Ace from One Piece and Natsu & Gajeel from Fairy Tail.

I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT NICOLE'S FOX, ROXY, AND ABOUT THE WYVERNS IN GENERAL 😭

I need to mention that in one episode (before Aphmau went to Scaleswind and learned about Lady Irene), Garroth says to Aphmau "by the seven", which I think she was hurt, but the use of "by the seven" is similar to how the same phase would be used in Game of Thrones or to how irl lots of people say "oh my god", so I'm really wondering if there were originally supposed to be 7 Divine Warriors instead of 6.

The way when Aphmau found Levin and decided to keep him and Garroth IMMEDIATLY decided he would be Levin's father figure.

The way when Laurance found out that Aphmau had a kid, his response was to play with Levin and say to Aphmau "you didn't tell me you had this little buddle of joy/energy".

I don't like fighting but I love Vylad, I genuinely find him interesting as is in canon.

What I find interesting about Vylad;

->He is very mysterious, there's a mystery surrounding him. This peakes my interests. While watching he constantly had me interested in knowing more about him. Who murdered him? What is his morality? What is his goal? What was he like before?

->Vylad is odd, he is strange. Ofcourse queer and neurodivergent people are going to be drawn to him. (And self project onto him)

Honestly "you just like him because he's gay" is such a weak argument. There are other characters that are canonically gay, and Vylad being Gay was never confirmed by Jess. Just implied in a line in mcd, and said to be pan by his vc in mystreet. There are many other characters, people headcanon as gay too.

->Vylad has an interesting morality, you don't know where he falls at first. And later it's said Vylad killed people before, Vylad used to be a loyal shadowknight before.

Vylad doesn't see himself a the same person he was before he turned into a shadowknight anymore.

->Vylad is one of the most hopeless and pessimistic shadowknights of all, while we see Laurance desperately clinging onto his humanity. Vylad has let go. Sasha was betrayed by her friends but still holds onto her morals and holds some dear feelings to them and her ex-husband Kenmur. Sasha has clung to the shadowknights now. She cared for her fellow shadowknights and how they got killed by Zenix. Gene is following the shadowlord's cause fully and driven by his hatred(and pain) for Dante. Zenix is also driven, driven by power, and not wanting to be controlled. Vincent is just doing his thing. Meanwhile, I'd say Vylad is the least driven of all, yet deep down he is a little. He still goes out of his way to secretly help Garroth for example, by getting Aphmau. He saved Levin. He helped out. There's this interesting duality about him. He knows Laurance is foolish and naive, but Laurance still gives him hope.

->Vylad appears cold and mysterious. This is interesting. Especially if you compare him to his mystreet counterpart, who acts totally different.

->His relation to his family members. I can't help but wonder what his childhood was like. And if it was Garte or Zane who murdered him. Zane supposedly ignored him a lot of the time. How did Vylad deal with this?

Also, it's ironic that Zane is a priest and shadowknights are somewhat demon like, but Vylad's a better person between the two of them(which isn't hard but still).

->Vylad is calm yet his actions are way less restricted and calm then you'd expect. He decides to summon a God, he never cares to mention that she is a god, he decides not to disclose secrets unless he's asked. There's some hidden chaos under his calmness and restrained nature.

->He thinks so very little of himself, he doesn’t see himself as the person he was before anymore. He avoids people because he is convinced he'll only make things worse for them. He is convinced he isn't human at all anymore, and doesn’t feel anything.

Yet he cries so hard when Aphmau tells him Garroth died, yet he is willing to go through extreme lengths(closing the nether portal amd summoning a god) to ensure his safety. He is willing to go out and safe his mother. His actions show he does still truly care.

->his overidealisation of Garroth is interesting too, there's a scene where he talks about how Garroth would never get caught up in his emotions like this. Yet this is false, Garroth does all the time, more often then him. This is interesting.

And did he ever idealise Zane like that? What was their bond like?

->Vylad loses every battle he's in and I think that's funny
