Uprising II: Electric Boogaloo
Literally no one: Floch: ...anyways, yeah, so I’m King now.

So Floch is basically staging a Yeagerist coup, and he’s claiming Eren’s blessing. Shadis knows what’s up.

This makes me suspect that Eren didn’t revert Zeke’s titans in Shiganshina not because he couldn’t, but because he didn’t want to. That it was actually part of the plan that the old guard military be taken out, because they’d be standing in the way of... whatever this is.
And it also makes me wonder if Connie’s mother, who poses no military threat, might be an exception. That maybe when Connie arrives in Ragako, he’ll find his mother’s back to her old self after all. I know Eren has bigger fish to fry right now, so who knows whether he’s spared her a thought -- but if he’s only destroying the world to make a better one for his friends, and Connie’s one of his friends -- maybe? I can hope for one bright spot, can’t I?
Anyway...  as @aspoonofsugar pointed out in this meta, Floch’s uprising is undoing all the work of the previous Uprising. Which makes me wonder if the purpose of Historia’s pregnancy was to save her not just from becoming Zeke’s heir -- but also from becoming Floch’s target. Because if he’s declaring himself King of the Eldian Empire, doesn’t he have some competition for that throne? e.g., the rightful ruler? I’m sure it’s convenient to him that she’s indisposed at the moment, but it’s also a good thing for her, because if she were standing in his way, or appearing uncooperative to his grand plan, she might now be staring down the barrel of his gun... or worse. I’m pretty sure Floch’s plan assumes the power of the titans will continue, which means they’ll still need a royal Founder, and if she were refusing to produce royal heirs for the Eldian Empire... please don’t make me finish that sentence.
Anyway. As it stands, she is -- for all appearances -- furthering the Yeagerists’ goals. That ought to keep her safe... for now.
We still don’t have Eren’s or Historia’s POV, but we sure got Floch’s. It remains to be seen how much of Floch’s glorious ambition Eren actually supports, but I seriously doubt that it includes leaving Floch in charge. Keeping my fingers crossed, as always.
