Deej Amago is a Filipino artist based in Manila. His primary medium is pencil and paint. I've followed his work for years now and I'm always amazed by the intricacy and details of his artworks -- often done on large A3 or A2 canvas. I love the recurrent motifs of ropes, hands, flowers, and pencil shading to mimic skin tones. One of his artistic inspirations is Torii Kotondo's ukiyo-e woodblock prints.
