The James Potter Affair
Written for Day 6 of Jily Week 2024, run by the very lovely @sunshinemarauder and @kay-elle-cee, and inspired by the theme Inspired By... - an excuse to write the AU of my dreams, which in my case turns out to be a new multi-chapter story.
Insurance Investigator Lily Evans is assigned to recover priceless artefacts stolen in a daring heist from the British Museum. Her chief suspect? Billionaire philanthropist James Potter...
It’s a high stakes game of cat and mouse that only one of them can win - and Lily's determined that it's going to be her.
I am super excited about this one! It's inspired by the film The Thomas Crown Affair, starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo, which is one of my absolute favourites.
Rated M - because it's gonna get smutty at some point!
See below the cut for a T-rated snippet, or read the full chapter on AO3
Lily Evans slipped into the museum gallery and loitered close to the door. She focused on making herself as unobtrusive as possible, wrapped in her trench coat and sipping a takeaway coffee, as she took in the scene in front of her. It was complete and utter chaos.
Crime scene techs in masks and white suits swarmed around an unadorned concrete bust, which stood on a plain black plinth at the centre of the room. Devoid of all but the simplest of humanoid features, it was brightly lit by a halo of spotlights. Four benches were positioned around it, and between the benches and the plinth was a circular carpet of shattered glass, glittering like jewels as each fragment caught the light from above.
Across the room, a second group of techs surrounded a dark coloured briefcase that was buckled along the top, as though it had been struck with something heavy. Elsewhere, the floor was littered with yellow evidence markers, and everywhere she looked there were smudges of fingerprint powder. Lily suppressed a laugh when she saw that; according to her research, the British Museum expected to welcome six million visitors every single year. So good luck with that, lads, she thought.
Off to one side, Lily spotted the two men she was looking for. Their cheap, slightly shabby suits and jaded expressions practically screamed ‘police detective’. The taller, younger man had sandy brown hair that matched his jacket and a thin, rather pointless, moustache. The elder was much stockier, with close cropped dark grey hair, a face only his mother could love, and, bizarrely, an eye patch. Based on the thorough briefing she’d been given, Lily immediately identified them as Detective Inspector Remus Lupin and Detective Superintendent Alastor Moody. Targets acquired, Lily quietly sidled close enough to overhear their conversation.

“Perfect.”
When he first told Dean, he looked so small and helpless, almost guilty, like he expected Dean to just smack him right in the spot for daring to bring it up. Maybe that's what convinced Dean to participate. Or maybe it was the warmth that painted his cheeks when he imagined Cas smiling brightly at his kid and his... and Dean coming together to make something for him. "Father's Day, huh? Sure. Yeah, why not?" Jack smiled as bright as Cas did in his head.
so uhhhh aparently it’s father’s day in the usa? so i wrote a little something for @dadstielweek i hope this is okay <3 also thank you @creepyeyesandfrogs for the inspiration ur the best!!!
Summary: Dean and Jack have plans for Cas on father’s day. They also have some unresolved issues.
Warnings: Miscommunication, self worth issues, J*hn Winchester, brief mentions of self destructive tendencies (nothing explicit), brief mentions of sexual themes between Dean and Cas (also not explicit), background Saileen.
also, english is not my native language and i mess up sometimes! i’d much appreciate it if you warn me about any possible mistakes.
"Damn, kid, those are some bright colors you used." it was meant as a jab, but Jack only smiled proudly
"Thank you" he replied "I thought I might be using too much yellow, so his name is written in pink. See?"
Dean did. He stared at the card for a few more seconds. It read "Dad: I feel so safe with you! You always took good care of me and you hold me so gently when I can't sleep. Your the best dad ever!" in yellow, with blue doodles of bees and hearts around it, and "I love you, Castiel" in light pink at the bottom. It wasn't a work of art, but he clearly had fun doing it with some old colorful markers he found around the bunker. It was funny to Dean that a 5'8'' man had done it.
Not a man, he corrected himself. A kid. It was easier to see it in days like these.
"Yeah, it's real pretty, alright. But, uh, just a note-" Jack looked up then, his eyes wide. Dean tried not to be offended about how obvious it was that he was waiting for Dean to back down at any moment "You wrote 'your'. As in, 'your bag', 'your drink', 'your pen', you know. It's 'you're'. Like, 'you are'. You're. You're the best dad ever. Okay?"
"Oh." he looked down again. Stayed silent for a few seconds. Dean imagined he was processing this new information. Then he brought up the yellow marker and fixed it. "There. Is that it?"
"Yup. Looks perfect, kid. Cas is gonna love it."
Jack looked like someone had just told him he could eat all the candy he wanted. Dean found himself chuckling softly at him, then turned back to the cake he was decorating. He was pretty anxious himself. He knew he wasn't the best cook out there, and art also wasn't his strong spot, but he figured that writing "Happy Father's Day" wouldn't be so hard. Jack insisted in some skittles on top of it, too, because "Cas loves colorful things and he even ate some of Jack's last week and seemed to like it!". Dean wasn't so sure. He knew Cas had a weird relationship with food. He didn't need it, and hardly found any he genuinely liked. So he might not eat it at all. Or he might eat it just to make Dean feel good.
But there was something else he had in mind. Something he and Jack had picked in town last week. It was sappy and simple and exactly the kind of thing he never though they’d get to experience.
In the kitchen counter, close to the coffee machine, there was a porcelain mug wrapped with a colorful ribbon. And on it was written “BEST DAD EVER”.
Coffee was something that Cas liked. Especially when it had plenty of sugar. The mug was silly, the kind of thing you’d find at the dollar store, but it made Dean smile just thinking about it. Cas could drink from it everyday.
Jack followed his gaze and stared at it with a smile. Then he turned to Dean, and to the cake, and seemed to understand something.
“You know he’ll love it too, right?” Dean smiled, but it wasn’t natural anymore. He wasn’t surprised when Jack didn’t buy it. “No, I’m serious. He likes chantilly. He likes chocolate cake. He likes skittles. He loves you. Why wouldn’t he like it?”
It wasn’t planned at all. It just came out. Easy like that.
He likes all those things. He loves you.
Dean sucked in a breath but before he could reply Jack was staring back at the mug. It seemed like he was already thinking about something else. He was like that, sometimes. Too much energy, a bit like an actual child would have, and not enough place to put it. It wasn’t uncommon for him to lose his train of thought mid sentence. It’s like his own brain was a bit too fast for him.
Dean was like that too, sometimes.
He silently wondered if he should scold him for that, like his own father did to him. But he couldn’t bring himself to do so. Instead, He nudged Jack’s shoulder softly. “Go on. Use plenty of chantilly, ‘kay? You’re right, he likes it.”
Jack didn’t need to be told twice. He hopped to the fridge and got the rest of the chantilly Dean used for the cake. Gently placed the ribbon a little lower on the mug so he could pour something inside it. Turned to the kitchen cabinet and picked up a spoon, and, before Dean, he raised his index finger.
And the coffee machine started working.
Magically.
“Jack!” Dean hissed. He didn’t want to deal with that right now. “Jack, please. Don’t-”
“It’s okay!” he seemed excited “I got it.” he brought a spoonful of chantilly, and the mug floated and stood right in front of him, gravity be damned. “It’s easier this way, I can just-” he held the chantilly container with one hand, the spoon with the other, and the mug was hovering in front of him. There was no way he couldn’t see how that was dangerous.
“Jack, come on,” Dean stopped decorating the cake and reached for the mug “just put it d-”
“Whoa, guys?”
Too many things happened too fast. Sam walked through the kitchen door, rubbing his eyes lazily. Dean flinched. Hard. He thought Cas had discovered them. Jack also flinched, his eyes wide and scared, like he’d been found doing something he shouldn’t be doing. The coffee machine stopped working. The mug fell.
It shattered on the floor, before them.
“Oh, shit.” Sam said, wise as ever.”
“Oh, no, no, no, no, no! Come on! Look at it! Goddammit, kid, why did you have to- Come on!”
“Guys? Uh, sorry-”
“I’m- I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to! I thought- I thought Cas had- I got scared, I’m sorry, Dean, I can fix this, let me just-” he gestured to it, clearly intending to use his powers again, but Dean stopped him, gripping his wrist forcefully with just a little too much strength.
“No. You’ve done enough.” Dean said, his voice cold. He wasn’t sure how exactly things could get worse, but he didn’t want to find out either. Jack struggled to get away from his hold with wobbling lips.
“Dean-” Sam placed a careful hand on his brother’s shoulder “what’s going on?”
“It’s father’s day.” Dean said “We baked a cake and bought Cas a stupid mug but now-” he sighed “the kid used his creepy ass powers and now it’s broken.”
That was like someone had slapped Jack in the face. He finally managed to get his arm free and stepped back like it had burned him. He clutched his wrist, and cried.
“I’m s-sorry...” he managed between sobs.
Dean stared.
He was crying. Outright bawling his eyes out like it was all he knew how to do. If Cas hadn’t slept in Dean’s room (conveniently far away from the kitchen, it was all thought out, that’s definetely the only reason he was there) exhausted from last night’s activities (angels don’t need sleep, per se, but they do benefit from it every now and then if they’re low on grace and already tired from... uh, hunting) he probably would have woken up.
“Oh, shit.” Dean said, for once, somewhat wise.
“I’m sorry, I’m- I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to- I shouldn’t have used th-them. It’s my fault! I didn’t- I didn’t mean-!” he stepped back again, like he was scared anyone would hurt him (or he would hurt anyone).
Dean’s heart dropped to his toes and he wanted to punch himself in the face.
“Shit, kid. No, it’s- Fuck. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have- I shouldn’t have yelled like that. Fuck. Sam, a little help here?”
Sam stared at them for a second, his eyebrows knitted together.
Dean got mad and went a bit too far. That’s happened before.
It happened a lot with John.
But Dean would always chime in and fix John’s messes for him.
Sam turned around, brought a shovel and a broom and in two swift movements cleaned the remains of the mug while Dean stared at him like he’d grown a second head.
And then he left the kitchen.
“What the fuck. Sam, what the- Sam!” but, obviously, Sam didn’t turn around. It wasn’t that he didnt care. He did. So much. He was scared that if he let them there things would only get worse. But he trusted them- he had to.
Dean and Jack needed to have this conversation by themselves.
Jack. The Jack that was pressed up against the wall crying desperately like there’s no tomorrow. Dean wanted to cry too.
“Kid. Jack. Jack, I’m sorry. Hey, listen to me.” he took a careful step but Jack didn’t even seem to notice. He was clutching his own wrist so hard Dean was scared he was going to break the skin.
He raised his hand and slowly reached for his wrist. Jack flinched again and looked up to Dean like he was surprised that he was so close. Slowly, like he was trying to approach a wild animal, Dean held the kid’s hand and opened it, forcing him to let go.
“There we go. Careful, kiddo. You were hurting yourself.”
Jack scoffed, or tried to, but as he hadn’t stopped crying yet it sounded a little like a scared cat. “Right. Like I d-don’t deserve it.”
“No.” Dean’s voice was suddenly rough again “No, you don’t. Kid- Jack, look at me.”
Jack didn’t want to, but Dean reached for his chin softly and, carefully, as if the Nephilim was made of glass, he brought his face up.
“I-I ruined it, Dean. I broke the mug.”
“Yeah.” his voice was soft again “You did. But it’s okay. You didn’t do it on purpose. You got scared. You shouldn’t have been so careless, but you didn’t mean to do it. I know you didn’t. Okay? You just have to be more careful next time. It’s fine. You’re fine, okay? I’m... I’m sorry I yelled. I’m sorry I hurt you.”
Jack stared at him. His lips were slightly parted and his face was still tear stained. Dean ran his thumbs through his cheekbones, drying his tears softly. Jack let him.
“I’m sorry, Dean. I shouldn’t have... Used them. My- my creepy powers.”
“No, Jack, it’s okay. Those powers, they’re not creepy, okay? They’ve helped so many people before. They’ve saved us. And they’re a part of you, and you’re not creepy, okay? You’re not. I’m sorry I said that. I was wrong. And I shouldn’t have- Shouldn’t have yelled. I’m sorry, too. I’m sorry, Jack.”
Jack looked like he was waiting for the punchline. He studied Dean’s face, and eventually he stuttered out “It’s... It’s okay, Dean.”
“We both fucked up, huh?” he chuckled softly, and Jack did so too.
“Yeah. I guess- I guess we did.”
“Well, I’m the adult. I can’t let this happen again. I’m not going to. Okay? I’ll be more careful too. I just- I lost it, Jack. I’m so, so sorry. I hope you know how wrong I was. You’re not bad, Jack. You didn’t do this on purpose. You were just trying to be faster. It’s okay. You made a small mistake. It’s no biggie. I need to keep it cool next time, okay?”
“No! No, there won’t be a next time, Dean. I’ll be more careful, I promise!”
Dean smiled. “I know, Jack, I know you will. But you’re four. You’re gonna make silly mistakes like this. Your job is to try a little more everyday. Okay?”
Jack nodded enthusiastically. “I will. I’ll do my best.”
“I know you will, little guy. I will, too, okay?”
“Okay.”
“I promise, too.” Jack smiled at that. Dean swept his hair from his face, leaned in and kissed the kid’s forehead. He beamed. And then he stopped. Dean glanced at his face.
“But, Dean... It’s, it’s broken, now. We only have the cake and the card.”
“Well, I’m sure he’ll love them, Jack.”
“Yeah, but... It’s... It’s Cas, Dean. He deserves better.”
Dean contemplated for a second. And then he smiled. Jack tilted his head in a very Cas-like fashion.
“I have an idea.”
Cas turned around in Dean’s bed, hoping to find the man laying next to him. He didn’t.
It wasn’t unnexpected, you see, Dean woke up early everyday. Cas wasn’t used to sleeping, but when he did, he slept in late. He only needs his four hours after all. But honestly, Cas couldn’t help but wonder if there was some shame in there.
He glanced around the room and decided it would be best if he got dressed. He got up, groaning softly, then retrieved his underwear and pants from Dean’s desk. His shirt was on the ground. Tie and trenchcoat were perched on a chair. His cellphone was on his pocket. He thought about going out, maybe make Jack some breakfast, but it was still early and the kid was probably asleep. So he decided to go back to bed (without his trenchcoat, mind you, not even he is that formal).
Immediately as he laid down there was a knock on the door. “Come in!” he slurred out, still sleepy.
Whoever was on the other side hesitated. “Are you... Decent?”
Cas couldn’t stop his smile. “Yeah, Dean, I’m decent.”
“No, like... Jack- Jack is here, Cas.”
There was a laugh on the other side. “Dude?” Sam whispered. Cas decided to pretend he didn’t hear him.
“Come in, Dean. Unless you want me to put on my shoes as well.”
The door opened and the first thing Cas noticed is that Dean’s whole face was red as a tomato. The second thing was that he was holding a cake covered in chantilly and skittles and the third is that he was followed by Jack and Sam.
Oh, no, did he forget anyone’s birthday?
But they didn’t sing. Instead, Jack jumped on the bed, holding something colorful. Sam was right behind him, holding a wooden platform and placing it on the bed. It was like a support so nothing would fall. Dean put the cake on the platform and Jack placed something too.
Cas blinked.
“Uh, wh-what’s... Did I... Miss something?”
“It’s Father’s Day!!” Jack beamed. Cas couldn’t help but mirror his smile. But he was still a bit confused.
“O-okay, so...?” Jack leaped at him, involving him in a hug.
“Happy Father’s Day, dad!”
Oh. Oh! “Jack!”
“Kid’s super excited. It’s your first Father’s day without an apocalypse, after all. So, we... Yeah. We did something.” Dean tried to explain. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. Cas stared at him like he’d personally brought him the moon.
“They did something for you, too, Cas. Look!” Sam pointed at the colorful package at the improvised table. He noticed, then, that it wasn’t a package.
It was a mug involved by a colorful ribbon. The one he usually used. It used to be white and bland. But now, there was a blue tie doodled on it, and in Dean’s unmistakable handwriting it was written “WORLD’S BEST DAD”. It was filled with coffee and chantilly, just the way he likes it.
Cas held it in his hands and couldn’t stop the tears flooding his face.
For a second, Jack panicked. His eyes widened and he looked between Cas and Dean questioningly. Dean reached a hand to his shoulder and whispered “I think he likes it, Champ.”
“But- But he’s crying?”
Cas sniffed loudly, then. He couldn’t explain it. He didn’t expect it. World’s best dad, him? “They’re... T-they’re tears of joy, Jack.”
Sam giggled sofly. He brought his cellphone up and started recording. He was happy he did, because just at that moment, Dean leaned down and kissed him wholeheartedly.
Like, on the lips. Full on romantic kiss. The type they show on TV.
If Jack was surprised, he didn’t show it. But he was happy, that was clear. Sam, however, cheered them on. “Oh, fucking finally!”
Dean showed the camera his middle finger. Jack tilted his head again, and Sam zoomed in on him, mumbling something about “like father, like son”. When they broke apart, their pupils blown and panting softly, Dean cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck. Cas was at loss for words.
Jack seemed to remember something, then, and shoved his card on Cas’ face with no mercy. “Oh, oh! I also made a card! And Dean baked the cake! We painted the mug together. He taught me how to draw a tie. Do you like it?”
“Liked it? Jack, I love it. Look at it! You drew a bee, too! It’s so pretty.” he sighed contented while Dean tried to steal Sam’s phone only to find he had already sent the video to Eileen. Jack stared at him with childlike wonder, and Cas was almost scared for a moment because of how happy he was. But it was okay. He was allowed to be happy. He deserved it. “I love it. Thank you, so much. All of you. It’s perfect- you’re perfect.” he turned to Dean, with Sam’s hand on his shoulder as he cooed childishly. “I love you, Dean.” And then he turned to Jack, the kid smiling in blissful, childish naivety. “And I love you, son.”
“See?” Dean grinned, nudging Jack playfully “I told you he’d love it.”

It’s The Avengers (03x12)
Loki x Reader Avengers The Office AU (Slowwwwww Burn)
Season 3 Episode 12: The Double Effect
Series Summary: Living in the Avengers facility post-apocalypse in a better timeline Tony Stark has decided to capture every moment by pulling The Office on the Avengers. All of housemates are pretty used to the idea except for you, who had just come here to finish her degree, and the newest member- Loki.
Warnings: ehehehehehe
Word Count: this chapter happened every time I tuned out my decision making brain, and the world, and just picked my laptop to go sit somewhere that is not cozy enough to fall asleep.
MASTERLIST in bio, darlings. Tags are open (check bio)
A mellifluous note from a violin took over the speakers kept on the coffee table before a prima donna voice did a Snow White-esque intro. The camera sitting on the floor captured the graceful and delicate toes tipping their way before swirling three times. Another pair of feet came in the frame to let it capture two stoic bodies in their perfect ballet stance before they both dropped their head and twerked their behind at the tunes of the fairy tale WAP, revealing the faces of Tony Stark and his mentee. The exquisite routine ended with the same fervour that Tony Stark reserved for his biggest balls, leaving the two breathless and the audience- that was just coming in focus with their mouths gaping wide- quite impressed. "Let's see if you can top this," Tony winked at them, his stern face soaking in the silent applause.
No one said anything. "How can you look so good in tights?" was all that could be heard in the loud thought leaving Scott's mouth, who had to blink and get himself out of the trance. "Did I say that out loud?" "Oh...kay," Rhodey's forehead lines held the weight of all the sanity in this universe, "how about we do something that does not kill the audience with your balls in their face?" Natasha opened her eyes wide while looking at infinity.
Natasha: Can't say this was my first time to have someone dance with their Spanx on for full display. *looks at the camera with no emotion* The ones before were not that lucky though. *camera zooms in* may their souls rest in peace.
"How about an Among Us themed video?" Peter jumped where he stood, his tutu fluffing up with his movements. "And those Ooooooo-aaaaaaaahhh ones," Bucky added. "I'm surprised you even know that," Sam was quick to mention. "Cassie's been teaching me." "...Cassie as in...Scott's Cassie." "Mmm-hmm. She set up everything for me on my iPad." "But your iPad has a child lock." "Oh, that's for me," Scott called from the other side of the table. Natasha looked straight at the camera recording this conversation, making it focus on her face when she closed her eyes and mouthed 'don't ask'. Past the chatter, another camera focused on Tony's eyes stuck on the flat screen that was not turned on for the first time in a long while. "She's fine," Wanda assured him with a smile. "I just now saw her running through a desert. And she seemed really excited." Tony nodded, his body not still at the thought of you out...somewhere he could not see you. "And what about the too-clever-for-himself God?" Wanda chuckled. "He's right behind her. Almost catching up." A certain tick in his train of thoughts made Tony narrow his eyes before turning back to Wanda. "You can see inside people's head, right?" He whispered. Tugging her upper lip under her teeth, Wanda chuckled. "I can read everyone's mind and I know what you're going to ask. The answer is no." Tony straightened his back like a good ballet dancer. "No as in you can't read his mind or no as in he...does not...or no because he is...not..." Wanda passed a quick look to the camera by her side before walking away.
Wanda: *shakes her head* No. Not going to answer that. Or that. Or that. *breaks into a giggle* *sparkling eyes* oh but you should see his head!! Peter's voice: *from outside the frame* Who's head? the camera shifts from Wanda to a curious Peter standing in the doorway before coming back to her. Wanda: *looks back from Peter towards the camera* *stifles a blush* No one. *gives the camera a knowing look*
The Galactic Desert Lulu walked over the rocks giddy as ever. The familiar boots in black followed him as the camera rose from the bed of rocks to bring in the horizon over the smooth desert dune they were climbing. The view of the beginning of the rocky side of life on this planet welcomed them where some old ruins of a monastery lay scattered everywhere. From where he stood on the top, they looked like scattered Copic markers left by a giant's child on a wild spree; that or something resembling close to your room. When his eyes focused on those figures, he could see the familiar rainbow group that he had grown to dislike. If they were close, it meant so were you. And as if to answer the question- that had just loosened that tension in his brows- Loki's attention was taken by a delightful chirp from Lulu, who pressed his tum-tum and slid down the sand towards the colourful aliens. A beat resonated through the stones. Loki's brows grew curious again- but only till they saw you. The camera focused on you, panning in to take a good of the swing of your shoulders to the beat. Other than the pep in your step, the lens could make out the flower crown was new; and so was the glitters that were strewn on your black shirt. A sigh was all that Loki presented the crowd with before coming down the discreet stairs in the sand choosing to completely ignore you.
Am I being weird You're looking through me like You don't even hear (hello?)
The words were clearly meant for him but it wasn't him who joined in with you on the beat. And that did get his attention. First, it was Sky- the sky blue dude who twirled you around to let you fall into Red's arm.
'Bout to get on my Houdini shit and go and disappear Am I wasting my time tryna give a fuck But I don't really care
Red- with his piercing gaze set at Loki- matched your step to the heartbeat with one fierce smirk before you were nearly stepping on your own feet to walk into the dead centre of the place.
Fading all the signs that I keep on running through Making up excuses so they blame it on my youth
White joined you, happy to be by your side. He seemed different today. A bit more handsome. Maybe it was this starlight. Or maybe he was born with it.
I just wanna have fun, with jewels in the sun And ignore all the calls that I'm getting from my mom saying:
Every single one of the rainbow band had their arms and legs in sync with your steps as if you had rehearsed this part with them at least a hundred times.
Focus on, focus on, focus on, focus on you Focus on, focus on, focus on, focus on you
The twist and jerk of the hips was something new that raised Loki's brows. Nonetheless, no one from the audience complained about those moves. Least of all Lulu- who was shaking with beats while trying to mimic you as much as his bushy body allowed.
I'm trying hard, I'm trying really But I ain't got 20/20, I ain't seeing clearly I can't Focus on, focus on, focus on, focus on you
Loki tried to rub the worry mixed with frustration from his face while turning away from you. The camera caught the little flinch the God felt when you turned him around.
Face off, face off (Bang, bang, bang)
The finger gun motion brought down the rainbow colours one by one only to have them coming back up slowly, that too in perfect sync. They were so flawless that for a moment there, Javier had to catch his own emotion of impressed surprise in one of his devices.
Looking in the mirror You and me now (Yeah!)
You stepped closer to Loki with the words.
No one's around (Yeah!)
Winking suggestively at him while all his did was frown a little at that very suggestion
Time to get down (Down, down, down)
He took a step back in the name of caution only to find you catching Orange by his collar to bring him close and dancing your way down his body, leaving a little gap between the God's lips to let his lungs breathe in what he was witnessing. And whatever air he had left in his lungs was forced out when Orange looked at the God and gave him his version of a 'thumb's up'. Loki nearly broke into a run to get you away from him only to find himself grabbing thin air while you were standing on the broken pillar ten feet away from him. And relatively at quite the height.
Fading all the signs that I keep on running through Making up excuses so they blame it on my youth
Green and Purple joined you over the stone, swinging their arms and shaking their hips in languid harmony with you; going where your hands went, turning where your head did, enjoying themselves a lot.
I just wanna have fun, with jewels in the sun And ignore all the calls that I'm getting from my mom saying:
Whether or not you pretended to fall from that height, Loki felt the fear for a good second before Javier's camera recorded him inhaling in the fury of giving away his emotions as you appeared to dance right around his back. And these alien skittles made it even worse of an embarrassment.
Focus on, focus on, focus on, focus on you Focus on, focus on, focus on, focus on you I'm trying hard, I'm trying really But I ain't got 20/20, I ain't seeing clearly I can't Focus on, focus on, focus on, focus on you
When nothing else worked, the silent death glare from those smaragdine eyes towards the jolly ball of music player did the trick of shutting the party down. "Every time anything even close to dreadful happens in my vicinity, why is it always the pack of you prism puppies?" Those 'prism puppies' giggled at some inside joke before White licked his lips and turned towards Loki. "Because one of you loves us too much." Lulu, now resting on Loki's shoulder, turned to look at you and his camera caught the giddy swing in your steps as you skipped your way to Loki's side with a guiltless smile on your throbbing lips and those barely open yet content eyes looking at everyone around them. "Bullshit," Loki cussed without a hitch in his breath, leading you to gasp with a dramatic air. "He said bullshit," you whispered to Lulu, who tilted his head in response. "Shut your ears, babe." Green smirked. "No bullshit, your highness. We can only be called upon when someone thinks of us with no ill intentions in their heart." Loki had to raise a brow at that. "So you are saying one of-" he pointed at the four of them- "us took the time out of their life to think about you? Where is your pr-" "We can project the thoughts of the caller on the big screen if you want-" Your eyes opened wide at the idea and you nodded with quite the enthusiasm. "Okay," Loki announced with an amplitude loud enough to make you jump, "we all need to take a break after that hard routine!" He clapped his hands to conclude the meetup which bummed you out. "Let's go somewhere then. Drinks are on me." "Yes!" You jumped and skipped to Violet, taking his hand in yours to swing your arms with his as the two of you skipped forward. Orange and blue with yellow mimicked the two of you while green and red kept their hands in their pants and followed you guys with a strut fit for Gods. Javier made it a point to stay right at the front to catch everything. That left Lulu and his camera to record the two kings left alone to look at each with a knowing gaze. "It should not come as a surprise but I have to say it was quite the shock to hear you call out our name." White nudges the rock on the ground with his shoe, giving enough space and privacy to the God look at him with a piercing gaze till he had his fill. "You never speak of this," Loki commanded, "to anyone. Especially-" "I know," White acknowledged before he could finish. "I have seen your thoughts, remember?" He cannot help but smile he prefect-teeth smile at Loki. "How does it feel to be on the receiving end of a mind reader, Loki?" "Do not talk to me as if we are friends." Loki sounded tired and done for the day. "Aw," White swung his shoulders before letting his finger poke Loki in his arm, "you have quite the ego even without your powers. But I still like you." He lets his index fingers touch each word in a fluffy manner while making uwu eyes at the God. "I don't," his eyes glowered. "YOU DON'T?" White gasped out loud enough to catch the attention of the group that were a few meters ahead of them. "BUT YOU SAID IN YOUR THOUGHTS THAT YOU L-" Javier's camera caught all seven of you turning around to hear white shout something inaudible before Loki apparently hugged him to the point that they both fell down. "Wow!" you tilted your head with a content sigh. "It's so nice to see people get along with Loki." "Of course, they'll get along," Yellow mentioned, "they both like y-ow!" No one but the camera saw the quick smack delivered on Yellow's head by violet. "To lead!" Violet declared, not taking his eyes off Yellow. "They both like to lead. Well and with example." You smiled at them with confusion in your eyes and turned away and forward, with the same confusion, shaking it off, murmuring 'space spirits, space spirits' and continued skipping towards the destination that lay behind the last piece of the standing monastery.
Violet: *cutest accent* that was close Yellow: *bumping into Violet to come in the frame* *excitedly* this close. *grins ear to ear* Violet: *rolls his eyes*
A small crevice between the monastery's remains led down a stony path that looked right out of a fantasy movie, giving the feel of the European middle age street except for the moss and hanging boulders over the group that crossed the path. Javier's camera caught you humming as you bobbed your head side to side, the boys mimicking your movement while moving with you. "Oooh!" you sang, "the air smells like candy!" "What's candy?" "Something sweet, something sour, and sometimes tangy!" Green tsked. Orange looked at him in confusion and gave him a questioning nod. "She is on the second stage now." "What's that?" Green gave his companion a head-to-toe look before narrowing his eyes. "I don't know." Gasping with fake frustration, Orange begged with his soft jumps to know what it was. His baby voice was in vain till he came close to Green to whisper, "Is it something terrifying?" Green shook his head. "Something...ugly?" Green sighed. Orange walked closer to Green. "Is it something horny?" The miss in Green's step confirmed everything for Orange, who tried his best to stifle the ecstatic butterflies his felt in his gut by biting down on his lips. Too bad he could not do the same for his flirty eyes. "Ori..no," Green cautioned him, but 'Ori' was already clasping his hands and almost his entire body to not let the joy escape as he swung around and skipped to your side. "Bad Ori," Green called out, but Orange was already wrapping his arm around yours, making you skip with him towards the opening, leaving the rest to catch up. Violet and Red joined Green as they watched the two of you disappear from their view. "He knows White will kill him if he does anything stupid, right?" Red stated with the killer smouldering look. Somewhere on earth fangirls screamed and two specific men started to question their orientation. Violet stretched his pretty pink lips and raised his perfectly done brow. "Do you think that'll stop him from doing something stupid?" With one thought-ridden pause, they let out a collective groan.
Facility Lawn "Oi! Sam!" The camera looked down from the lounge's balcony at Natasha standing in the bright afternoon sun with her hands cupped to call out Sam's name one more time if he did not show up this time. "'Sup!" The falcon greeted the Black Widow from the balcony, sipping on fresh coconut water right out of its natural juice box. "Throw me a sanitiser," Nat shouted. Sam turned where he stood, bending backwards just enough to get a peep inside. "Yo-" he grabbed a passing Bucky's attention- "pass the sanitiser." Bucky grabbed the bottle kept on the coffee table on his way to casually throw it in Sam's direction- who made it a point to look just as effortless while grabbing it. "Where you been?" Sam asked before readying his arm to do a precise throw in Nat's direction. The camera grabbed the roll of her eyes and a defeated sigh. "Had to drop off some documents." "Where?" "...at the White House." The throw came down from half the way as Sam let out a disgusted- and stretched- 'ew'. "You went over to Trump's place?!" Clearly, the assassin was to trying to hold down the guts wanting to come out of her. "I know. You don't have to remind me of the misery I just went through." "Woman, you need something bigger than this can," Sam stressed while raising the sanitiser in his hand. "Why are you standing in the lawn?" The camera in the lawn caughtTony in his workout clothes coming out from the garage while Nat tried her best not to grit her teeth. "She was at that wrinkly orange's place," Sam quipped before Nat could open her mouth to speak. "My feelings exactly," Sam agreed with the emotions reflecting on Tony's face right now. "Just hand me the sanitiser," she muttered at Sam through her eyelashes. "Oh, noooo-" Tony shook his head- "you need a whole bucket." A whistle-like cheer came from the front door as Scott came skipping outside. "What's happening?! What are we celebrating?" His bright eyes waited for an answer in excitement. "We're not-" Nat's voice was drowned by Tony's 'she visited the orange tan bitch's office', making the assassin share a mum look with the camera before closing her eyes to contemplate. "Oh," Scott breathed through his teeth with a sorry face before taking a few steps back, "I'll get the hose," leaving Nat to look at the camera with a blank stare that was painting quite the picture of her thoughts.
Natasha: *expressionless* Someone's going to die tonight. *takes out a folded dagger* Sam: *pops his neck into the frame* *whispers* of too much cleanliness. *smiles wide for the camera* Natasha: *looks at the camera* *clicks the dagger open*
Monastery Grounds Lulu's camera caught the eerie vibrations these narrow path reflected from its walls as the huge metal door came into view. The intricate foreign drawings were understandable to the few who knew about the times of the monks. But to the innocent soul like Lulu, it only added to the unspoken horror that might be on the other side of this numbing silence where this little one could hear Loki's heartbeat loud and clear. Floofed up and cuddled into a ball, he hid in Loki's jacket right by his chest. Everyone except Violet, White and Loki had already gone through it. "It's all right," Loki hummed at the little one, stoking a few hairs on his shivering head, "there's nothing to worry about". The tsk of White's tongue was louder than he expected. "I wouldn't be so confident," he muttered under his breath. "And he needs to hear this because?" Loki was quick to question, facing the captain of the little group. White looked at the little floof curled up around Loki's chest before his eyes threw a curious glance at the God. "If he does not face his fear, he won't grow. I am sure an intellectual like you would know." "And why would I want him to 'grow'?" The null emotion brought a smile on White's face. "Are you really that protective of him or do you not want someone to find out what happens when he...'grows'." "Maybe he's both," Violet adds while looking at the sky from whatever the tall walls have left for the view. "Maybe you two should keep your business instead of thinking what others are thinking." "You know that is literally the basic part of our job, right?" A roll of eyes later, Loki sighed and turned towards the door. Lulu perked up from the jacket a little to hear something before clicking his stomach. "What exactly did I do in my life to be stuck with you?" White knew he wanted him to hear that. "You think it's you we want to hang out with?" The door is dragged open and bass boosted tunes fill the musty alcohol-filled air that comes from the night on the other side.
Candles, glow sticks, fire lanterns- anything that can burn and glow lights up the building on the inside.
Take a sip, take a sip, take a sip And a trip, and a trip, and a trip
Bottles, vessels and jugs of baroque shapes decorated the wall at the back up to the ceiling, creating an intricate mirage of figures dancing in the glass as lights reflected off them.
And I'm like, when you bitch, when you bitch, when you bitch Counterfeit hypocrite holy shit
Bodies everywhere. Smoking, drinking, grinding, making out, trying new colours on their tongues. Bodies dancing to the music roaring through the neon stick-looking speakers. The shadows left by the light dance everywhere; even at places they are not supposed to.
And amongst all the elated uproar, Javier's camera caught the three beings- and a furball- dispersing the crowd with just their existence, standing there with an aura that said the world revolved around them. And to some extent, they were not wrong.
Everybody gets high, why the hell can't I?
Eyes followed these boys; some filled with lust, some with a shade of curiosity, some with a hint of envy. But these three had eyes only for one thing. Looking for half the shades of a rainbow and a tipsy woman accompanying them. It wasn't long before all those eyes landed on the figure standing on top a table dancing like it was the end of the world. The jacket was gone and the maroon tank top with those familiar black jeans was the centre of attention. Hair down and flipping with all those jumpy moves. At one point the camera even caught you looking at it, winking and giving a shiver-inducing smirk.
Everybody gets high, why the hell can't I?
A closer look and Javier was standing in the mix of some very desperate and hungry creatures either dancing around the table either enjoying your company or doing their mating routine to attract you. As long as they maintained the distance, everything was fine. But as soon as one wrinkly faced rat tried to step on the table to touch you, a burst of roaring energy blew that alien back to where it belonged with the rest of the confused crowd. A few seconds late realisation came when five shadows with eyes gleaming like cats looked right into their souls, making them shrivel and curl up. The very next moment, five cutest boys were dancing with you on the table, increasing your happy high even more.
Everybody gets high, why the hell can't I?
Loki: *rubbing his face in his palms* never in the thousand years of my life did I think I would die of old age. *shakes head* And that too from worrying to much because of a measly human woman. *you go dancing past the camera screaming in delight* *Loki's eyes follow you before he stands up from the wall he's been leaning on and takes a step forward to come in the way of this one crocodile-man alien who is twerking his way to you. Crocodile-man jerks his way into Loki, who is standing there with his arms crossed, unwavering in every way, making the aquatic species lose their composure and walk back where they came from, letting their body tell the God to take it easy.*
Fifteen minutes later Javier's camera focused on those big eyes of yours that were so devastatingly engrossed in Lulu as if they were seeing him for the first time. And that poor little furball was mimicking every move of your neck like a little one does with their mama. "Waaah!" you whispered with a tinge of positive shock. Javier's camera zoomed in on Loki who was looking at you with the judgment of an entire galaxy in his eyes. "You adopted him," his voice tried to cut through that trance but all it did was make your pupils wide in affection and let your throat give out a broken squeal before you petted your little one affectionately. A loud gasp followed, making Javier turn towards you and pan in on the drunken horror on your face. "What." "He is so fluffy-" you whispered while drawing the purring burrito close to your chest- "I wanna kill him in my arms!" For the first time in the history of fancams, the lens caught Loki's head fall all the way back in defeat while a groan left his throat, and before anyone witnessing could recover from it, the God was on his feet trying to take Lulu away from your arms. "Give me the baby." "Mm-mm." "You'll kill it." "..." "Give me Lulu before I pin you down and take him by force." It was quite visible that you were trying to imagine his words and it was also evident that there was that very slight smirk at the end of your lips before you licked it away. "I'll give him to you when you finish my beer." A confused frown was all you got. "Dammit, you look cute even when you frown," you whispered to yourself before turning to Loki, "I don't like the taste but I don't want it to go to waste. Finish that and then not only will I give you Lulu but you can also take me home."
Loki: The fact that she is ready to go home when we all know what happens when she gets drunk is both a boon and a bane. It's like an opportunity presenting itself and you look at it suspiciously, wondering what exactly is hidden underneath. *camera pans in* But for tonight I am willing to take that risk. *picks the beer mug* *drinks it without breaking eye contact with the camera* *camera zooms out to pan in on White standing at the back frozen with a beer mug in his hand as his jaw drops to the floor*
As soon as the mug hit the tabletop, you, Orange and Violet hooted and cheered and Lulu- who was sitting in your lap- imitated your hand gestures. "Come on-" Loki got and dragged the chair back- "let's go." Like a basic instinct, White immediately took Lulu from your lap before you stood up and jumped in excitement. "YES! LET'S GOOO!!" And ran to the dance floor, leaving the camera to capture the pure void that came over Loki's face.
Quarantined Avengers Facility The security cameras showed the time as two in the night when Scott could be seen walking through the lounge still half asleep as he made his way to the kitchenette for some water. "Take this," a husky voice boomed through the dark, making the man almost have a heart attack while he turned his fists towards the source of the voice, letting the bottle hit his face and fall down. "Sorry," Bucky apologised before going to one of the three bottles next to him and devouring every drop of that gifted liquid. Picking up the bottle and nursing his fresh wound that was definitely going to grow into a bump in the morning, Scott joined the assassin on the sofa. "Can't sleep?" "I can't stop thinking about those videos where that one woman is spilling all the stuff men do." "You gotta be more spe-oh! the woman who knows the secrets of the balls! Yeah, she does know a LOT!" Bucky stared in the infinite darkness and nodded. "Well, nothing to distract us from how we play with our ass hair like this," Scott groan mentioned as he got up to pick the remote and switch on the big screen. What played was the recording of you dancing under shimmering lights in a crowd of quite a variety of creatures. The beats were not familiar at all but that did not stop you from swinging your hips and jumping around having the time of your life. Without realising, Scott was also swinging his head with the sound while the camera panned in on you a bit more, unexpectedly catching an odd faced creature with sparkling blue eyes and grey skin getting close to you from the back. Unbeknown to you, the creature opened his mouth to let his snake-like slippering tongue slip out to come next to your ears. "What the f-" Before Scott was able to finish his emotion, a hand caught that tongue from behind, twisting that little sneaky shit and throwing it back somewhere out of the frame followed by a very audible yelp. Without missing a beat one of those very hands took yours and dragged you out of the frame too without any warning. The camera hastily followed to find you being dragged right to the dimmest lit corner in the back only to smack your back into the cold wall while a strong pair of familiar arms pinned your escape routes on either side of your shoulders. "What the he-" your giggles stopped right with the sentence when you realised the distance between your face and Loki's was less than your palm's. All the fun in your eyes seemed to suddenly evaporate when you felt those hands by your either side drag themselves closer to your shoulders; when those green eyes were staring right into your soul and that flawless acne-free face was getting close enough for you to smell the sweet alcohol in his one long exhale. His black tresses nearly covered both your faces while your mind evidently went blank and your body wanted to be swallowed by the wall for a second. "Loki," you managed to whisper through your croaky throat, wanting it to sound like a question desperately. In response, Loki let his left hand grab the few strands of stray hairs out of your face and gently tuck them behind your ear. That was all it took. And the lounge camera recorded Scott falling to the floor unconscious with a satisfying thump. Bucky sat there sipping his water and raised brows and a contented 'hm' leaving his throat.
Over the other side, Loki drew himself closer to you, making you look at his lips time and again before you finally closed your eyes. Loki's lips brought themselves closer before stopping right at a finger's length. The camera panned in to discover a little furrow in his brow that came and went before finally settling in and letting him draw himself back with a glower. "Why did that beer taste sweet?" The question came out of nowhere, making you open your eyes to a very confused God looking at his hands and his surroundings and finally you. And just when that scared grin came to settle on your lips, did his eyes blow up realisation. "Oh, fu-"

~Roomba~
Au: Kaishi
Part: six
Theme: Comedy
You double checked the list to make sure of the next item to get. "Ah yes. The lamp we gotta replace because Rappa knocked it over last Tuesday." You tucked the list away in your pocket and went to the respective isle, Chisaki following close beside you. While you looked for the specific lamp, he was holding a fair sized box and inspecting it carefully. "What's that, my dear capo?" You asked him as you placed the lamp into the cart. Kai remained silent, probably reading the contents on the side of the box. Finally he nodded to himself and placed it into the cart. "Roomba?" You questioned. He shrugged his shoulders and you giggled a bit. "I suppose I should've expected it. Anyway, let's get the last 2 or three things and head home. I'm sure Pops is exhausted from dealing with that little gremlin all day." You joked with him. His eyes turned upward indicating a smile behind his ornate plague mask. Then you two checked out, and went home.
"Daddy! Mommy/dad!!!" Kaishi hoped off Pop's lap and rushed over to you both as soon as you entered the house. "Let go, brat. Come help me get the bags from the car." Kai ruffled his son's hair playfully. The boys went outside and you thanked Pops for his patience. Soon everything was put away, Pops had headed to bed, and your two boys sat on the carpet fiddling with the new item. Kai finished setting it up while Kaishi watched curiously. Finally, the questions came. "Daddy, what's a Roomba for?" He asked as Kai started to clean up the excess trash and the Roomba box. "Its a personal vaccuum assistant. It cleans up stuff so we dont have to." Kai threw away the trash and turned the Roomba on. Kaishi jumped to his feet and hugged his dad's leg as he watched it moving from spot to spot. "Alright, now I just need 5 more of them and I should be set." Kai said nonchalantly as he lifted Kaishi up from the ground and held him. "5 more? Oh no sir. You do not need that Kai." You complained and followed behind him while he went to Kaishi's room.
"Oh Angel, less work for us and more work for them. Besides, we need it for this monster right here." Kai poked his son's side and made him giggle. Then he tucked him into bed and went to join you. "Now then, we should also go to bed too y/n. Or perhaps you want to stay awake a little longer?~" Kai winked at you. You rolled your eyes and made sure to hold the end of his tie as you led him to the bedroom. The next morning, Kai stepped out of the shower and got dressed. When he came in the living room, he was greeted by the Roomba...with stickers all over it. "Kaishi Chisaki! You come in here and get all of this off the Roomba right now!" Kai called out loudly. The next hour, he was reading at the kitchen table when the Roomba bumped into his feet. He looked down to see huge googly eyes stuck to it, and a crude mouth drawn on with a marker. Kai groaned in frustration and he went to clean the Roomba off this time. Later that evening he was relaxing with you in the bedroom when he saw the Roomba heading down the hallway with an action figure stuck to the top of it.
"I swear this kid is going to make me lose all of my hair from stress." Kai groaned loudly and went to chase the Roomba down to clean it off again. The next day, the Roomba was at its charging dock with a cowboy hat and a tail on the side. "KAISHI!" You entered the room holding your son, and placed him gently on the ground. "What is the meaning of this, you monster? Why do you keep doing this? It hasn't even been a full week and I'm more stressed out than I was before the Roomba. I mean, I spend more time cleaning it rather than it cleaning the house."
"Daddy I do it because the Roomba is like a pet. You wont let me have a dog, or a cat, or even a turtle. I thought maybe I can have the Roomba as a pet." Kaishi admitted sheepishly. Kai sighed and leaned down to his son's height. He gently placed a hand on top of Kaishi's head. "I suppose you're right about the whole pet thing. I'll never allow a filthy creature in this house like that, so maybe it's fair to share the Roomba. Just don't go overboard with the decorations." Kai explained to him. Kaishi gasped and smiled widely before hugging his tiny arms around his dad's neck. "Thank you daddy."
"Yeah yeah. I love you, gremlin."

Imaginary Gifts, Clans and You (Part 2)
Following the previous post, this post will give a brief summary of each clan, the Imaginary Gift associated with it, and will include a difficulty and cost rating for each clan in terms of how difficult it is to pick up.
Friendly Rating: Easy for a beginner to pick up. Not mechanically difficult, and can allow a new player to pick it up and master it with a decent amount of practice. A deck with this rating for its price probably can be built for $100 or less for a complete and competitive build.
Medium Rating: This deck may require a little more time to master, or require a little more thought to navigate through. However, the deck isn’t extremely difficult, and with enough experience, can perform remarkably. A deck with this rating for its price will probably fall between $100-200 for a complete and competitive build.
Challenging Rating: This deck requires a solid understanding of mechanics and interactions to use correctly, or may simply require a bit more thinking than other decks. Beginners may not find his deck fairly easy to pick up right away, and the deck may require a good bit of time to learn due to its combos and/or other factors. This does not mean the deck is bad. In fact, a variety of higher difficulty decks have had a history as being some of the better decks in the game. A deck with this rating for its price however, likely has a $200 or higher cost for a complete and competitive build.
Royal Paladin (Force)
Cardfight! Vanguard’s flagship clan, and the deck used by the original protagonist. Royal Paladin is a clan made up of holy knights in service of the king, and the primary theme of the clan is the strength of bonds. In Standard format, the majority of the clan centers around the unit Blaster Blade and being able to aptly support him in a variety of ways. The deck is very effective at playing aggressive at most stages of the game, and uses it’s status as a Force Clan to keep an edge on their opponents. The deck, however, does not regenerate resources naturally, so losing combo pieces (specifically Blaster Blade) or overextending can be an issue at times, but the deck is very simplistic and can makes use of its Imaginary Gift to lay pressure down in the mid-game.
Difficulty: Friendly Price: Medium
Oracle Think Tank (Protect)
The corporation of the United Sanctuary responsible for predicting futures, weather and fortunes through use of magic. Their ability to gather information is second to none, and this reflects in their play-style. The units of the Oracle Think Tank clan specialize in being able to look at and manipulate the cards on top of their deck so they can use their skills to either draw those cards or stack triggers on top of the deck to maximize their offensive and defensive capabilities. Like most other Protect clans, they don’t have a particularly fantastic early game without being able to manipulate a lucky trigger. However, their ability to draw cards and generate massive hands with their Protect gift that hold them out into their late game win conditions are rivaled by none.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Friendly
Shadow Paladin (Force)
The occult worshipers and outlaws of the United Sanctuary, the Shadow Paladin clan is a deck meant to parallel that of the Royal Paladin clan. A fan favorite, the Shadow Paladins sacrifice their own rearguards to gain powerful effects, ranging from killing multiple of your opponents units, strengthening your Vanguard, and more. Shadow Paladins fight to win and not to play fair. Prior to the upcoming release of Phantasmal Steed Restoration, Shadow Paladins played this sacrifice theme heavily and focused on creating advantage with expendable rearguards to wear the opponent down with their force numbers and powerful blows. However, the newest release sees Shadow Paladins play in a much more aggressive centered around Blaster Dark, aiming to kill their opponent as soon as they hit Grade 3 and eliminate their opponent mercilessly through manipulation use of the Force II gift.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Challenging
Gold Paladin (Accel)
The advance troops of the United Sanctuary, the Gold Paladin clan is an aggressive clan currently centered around the evolution of its leader, Ezel, and creates chains of attacks by calling units from the top of the deck to the field either to generate more units in the main phase or more attackers in the battle phase. The Ezel build currently gives the clan an edge over other Accel decks by allowing it to generate Imaginary Gifts faster than other Accel decks in the game.
Difficulty: Friendly
Price: Medium
Angel Feather (Protect)
The healers of the United Sanctuary, the Angel Feather clan focuses on manipulating the damage zone to generate advantage and gain power in order further your strategy as much as possible. In most cases, when a card touches a damage zone in the game, it’s usually gone for good. However, this is not the case for Angel Feather, who can trade cards in their hand for cards in their Damage Zone, call units from their damage zone to their field, and even ride units from their damage zone. Angel Feathers in Standard want to grind out the game as much as possible and win both through attrition and a powerful finisher on rearguard.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Medium
Genesis (Force)
Genesis is a collection of units that originally hails from other clans, although multiple of their units focus on a thematic of divinity. As a result, they’re consistently known as a Jack of All trades, and it’s reflected in a variety of their skills. Genesis use their soul (the collection of cards underneath the Vanguard) to pay for most of their costs compared to other clans, and their identity and skill-set has consistently shifted over time (both good and bad). Currently, Genesis is one of the few clans in Standard that has yet to receive their second wave of support (which will change in October/November), but they are one of the clans who suffers for it the most. The current deck focuses on using Himiko’s skill to generate advantage early and attempt to lay down pressure into the late game. The support coming out later in the year will change the direction of the deck into generating multiple Force Markers to swing for massive punches into your opponent’s face in a manner that will be very familiar to fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s.
Difficulty: Challenging (Until Oct/Nov)
Price: Friendly
Kagero (Force)
The elite forces of the Dragon Empire, Kagero is the composition of flame dragons and imperial troops who seek to stand atop the other nations of the planet Cray. Kagero have a very control centric play-style, using their skills to retire and burn away the opponent’s units so their Vanguard can continually pressure the opponent into submission. There are a few optional builds, but the primary Kagero builds focus on the various forms of Dragonic Overlord, all of which focus on attacking multiple times with the Vanguard in one turn. This clan is another of Cardfight! Vanguard’s more prominent clans, made popular by one of the original rival characters, Toshiki Kai, which unfortunately gives it a steeper gate of entry than most clans in the game to build competitively.
Difficulty: Friendly
Price: Challenging
Nubatama (Protect)
Two words: Ninja. Dragons. The covert operatives of the Dragon Empire, Nubatama is a clan with a very unique history over the course of the game. Nubatama is the clan with the biggest identity crisis in the entire game, and this carried over even into the reboot. In Standard, Nubatama has two primary abilities: Discarding cards from the opponents hand and returning units from both sides of the field to the hand. Nubatama’s discard mechanic makes them a prominent force to be reckoned with, and their mirage style makes it difficult to remove their combo pieces since they can simply return their cards back to their hands. In Standard, it’s support is currently torn between these two playstyles, making it a difficult deck to pilot effectively, but in capable hands, it can tear the opponent to shreds by destroying their ability to guard.
Difficulty: Challenging
Price: Friendly
Tachikaze (Accel)
Soldiers of the Dragon Empires forces who specialize in ground tactics, Tachikaze is a clan of robot dinosaurs with a hunger that can’t be satisfied. Tachikaze is a deck that gains power and the ability to attack multiple times by eating not only their units, but also by eating through their own decks. Their own greed can be their undoing, and carelessly eating away at their cards without taking into consideration the delicate circle of life in the deck can cost games through deck out or through simple mistakes. However, Tachikaze is a deck that can function extremely well in the right hands. It’s support in October will continue to make it an excellent rogue deck.
Difficulty: Challenging
Price: Friendly
Murakumo (Accel)
The covert operatives of the Dragon Empire, Murakumo is an odd combination of both an aggro and control strategy that wants to try and suppress the opponent long enough to buckle down and dive in for the kill. They have a variety of tools to make this possible, and for my Naruto fans, they’re overall strategy is best described as reminiscent of ‘Shadow Clone Jutsu’, able to call copies of themselves from the deck and gain power for having multiple units with the same name.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Friendly
Narukami (Accel)
The thundering forces of the Dragon Empire, second only to Kagero in terms of power, the Narukami clan is comprised of powerful dragons, soldiers, djinn and more who all specialize in using lightning to leave nothing but ash left of their opponents. Narukami don’t just retire their opponent’s units, they bind/exile them and leave nothing left as they relentless attack their opponents. Narukami is a mid-game deck with the ability to multi-attack and keep forcing your opponent’s cards until they can no longer keep up with the sheer energy of your attacks. There is some combo potential in the deck, but the deck is fairly straightforward in turning everything sideways.
Difficulty: Friendly
Price: Medium
Spike Brothers (Force)
Imagine a version of football where nothing was illegal. Weapons are allowed, steroids are standard, and nobody cries over a dead body here or there. That, my friends, is the glory of Spike Brothers. One of the many deranged clans of the Dark Zone, Spike Brothers will do anything to win, and they will power through their opponents easily without a second thought. Spike Brothers are a lot simpler in Standard than they used to be, but capable of keeping most of the pressure they’ve become well known for. Spike Brothers use their Imaginary Gift to continually build up the pressure, and with their support coming in October, they’ll be able to use their Imaginary Gift even more efficiently by tossing them back and forth between each other like the ball used for their demented leisure. The biggest catch to Spike Brothers is simply learning how to manage your resources.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Friendly
Dark Irregulars (Protect)
Demons, psychics and killers, oh my! Dark Irregulars are a clan who live by one rule, and that is ‘Might makes right.’ Power comes only from what you take, and murdering others to gain said power is a common way to satiate the denizens of this lawless clan. This reflects slightly in their playstyle, in which they consistently steal the souls of units from the top of the deck via soul charging in order to strengthen and fuel their own schemes. Dark Irregulars are a combo deck that requires you to reach near deck out thresholds in the late game before going in for the kill, but they’re very effective at generating the resources they need in order to add the souls of their opponents to their collection. If you like to think through your plays and combo off, this is the right clan for you.
Difficulty: Challenging
Price: Friendly
Pale Moon (Accel)
Performers by day, assassins by night: The Pale Moon clan is a traveling group of entertainers who have protected the secrets of the Dark Zone for thousands of years and carry out their kills under the cover of a circus. Similarly to the way they cover their true intentions beneath an air of fun and levity, the deck focuses on putting several combo pieces into their soul to be called out later for a chain of attacks and then placing them back into their soul for later use. Because they’re a combo oriented deck, they can be a little tricky to get handle on, but they reward players who can handle their skills fairly well.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Friendly
Gear Chronicle (Force)
Gear Chronicle is a clan made up of gear dragons capable of manipulating and traveling throughout the flow of time in order to keep the flow of time safe and protect Cray. Gear Chronicle before Standard was one of the most over-supported clans in the game, and has now become, ironically, the most under-supported clan in the Standard Format. The deck is very different in its play-style, focused on riding lost legend and using its ability to temporarily borrow power from the future to generate advantage or lay down pressure on your opponents. The deck struggles with some consistency, which makes it difficult to balance out ratios and skills in deck-building, but is incredibly fun to play on a casual level.
Difficulty: Challenging
Price: Friendly
Nova Grappler (Accel)
One of the most popular tourist attractions of the Star Gate nation is the free fighting matches of the Nova Grappler clan. Robots, superhumans, and all sorts of contenders gather to compete, refusing to yield to any foe who stands in their way. Nova Grapplers are a clan who love to fight, and the word ‘yield’ does not exist in their dictionary. The deck plays very aggressive, restanding/untapping their units in the middle of the battle phase or even being able to poke for some smaller attacks in the main phases to not only make full use of their additional rearguard circles, but to wear the opponent down and attack them until they’re no longer able to compete.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Medium
Dimension Police (Force)
The defenders of Cray from planetary invaders, chances are if Gundam or Power Rangers was your favorite show as a child, then this is likely the clan for you. Dimension Police are superheroes and Giant Robots who work together to punch through the opponents defensive and swing for massive numbers that are often very difficult to guard. They combine their forces to make the Vanguard extremely powerful and capable of finishing the opponent in nearly a single blow. Their rearguards are very important for setting up their push plays, and there is a noticable amount of combo plays within the deck, but they are a prominent force in the meta and will make the opponent sweat from start to finish.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Medium
Link Joker (Force)
Originally invaders of the planet Cray, Link Joker is a clan that has become reformed until the authority of the deity Messiah. Due to the odd evolution of the clan overtime, especially in Standard, there are currently three separate builds each with a unique playstyle from one other that exist in the format. Deletors, the initial invaders, are an aggressive beatdown deck that focus on making your opponent feel helpless under the crushing weight of their power. They reduce your opponent’s Vanguard to nothing, while removing your opponents cards permanently for the rest of the game. Starhulks, led by Brandt, were the leaders of the initial invasion. Starhulk’s focus on interrupting the opponent’s game plan, and can turn a player’s luck right back against them in occasionally lethal ways. Messiah and his underlings are the current power of Link Joker, using a method known as lock to initiate powerful combos and create resources that help them stay in the game. Because of the divided support, it can be a little difficult for a player to figure out how to build their deck. However, these builds are all very fun and very rewarding to play.
Difficulty: Friendly (Deletor/Brandt)/Challenging (Messiah)
Cost: Medium (All)
Megacolony (Protect)
Planet Cray’s mafia, consisting entirely of sentient insect, Megacolony is a clan that focuses on tutoring their combo pieces and disrupting their opponent’s plays in ways that force your opponents to make bad decisions. They do this in a variety of plays, restricting the use of sentinels, preventing your opponents units from standing, etc. Consistency is a non-issue for Megacolony, who’s ability to dig for their bosses is extremely difficult to stop without a decent amount of luck. The clan’s biggest issue is struggling to finish off its opponents, but additionally support will only continue to make this deck better in the long run.
Difficulty: Friendly
Price: Friendly
Great Nature (Accel)
The greatest university in all of Cray is the home of the Great Nature clan, a group of scholars seeking to continually extend the limits of their knowledge and apply it on and off the battlefield. In the Standard Format, Great Nature is very different from its initial playstyle. Standard Great Nature focuses on a self-mill based that either gains card advantage or additional power and pressure based on the type of card that was sent to the Drop Zone. For this reason, Standard Great Nature has jokingly been referred to as Gacha Nature. Unlike Gacha games, however, Great Nature plays remarkably well and consistent, and can generate cards like its nobody’s business to tear into the opponent with and attack with solid pressure columns.
Difficulty: Medium
Price: Friendly
Neo Nectar (Force)
Neo Nectar is the world’s largest farmer market on planet Cray. Literally. They are responsible for the largest amount of crops and produce that they export throughout the planet. The deck plays in a very similar manner to this theme of growth and production. Several cards create miniature tokens that start out small, but can be used in a variety of ways. Some cards trade plant tokens to draw cards, some cards buff the tokens up to become formidable boosters and beaters, and some cards even trade your tokens or other units to play more units from the deck. Their strategy is only buffed through use of their Imaginary Gift Force to make difficult to guard attacks or massive 2 damage beaters.
Difficulty: Friendly
Price: Medium
Granblue (Protect)
The undead pirates who haunts the seas, Granblue’s hordes of ghosts, vampires, zombies and more terrorize and consistently war with the residents of Cray, especially the Aqua Force navy, for dominance over Cray’s seven seas. The legions of the Granblue clan can’t die, and their ability to tutor cards into the Drop Zone and then call them back to the field perfectly embody this motif. Granblue never have to burn cards from their hand because their ability to recycle their own cards and combo pieces allows them to adapt and combo off at whatever stage of the game they feel comfortable with. They’re fairly straightforward and can manage they’re resources really well. The biggest challenge of the deck is keeping yourself from decking out, but with enough practice, it becomes easier to manage over time.
Difficulty: Friendly
Price: Medium
Bermuda Triangle (Force)
The idols of the planet Cray, they are well known the world over for their performances. Bermuda Triangle has two variants in Standard format: Highlander and Melody. Highlander variants run typically no more than two copies of a normal unit in their deck since their skills check a certain amount of cards off the top of the deck and only activate if no duplicate normal units are revealed. Consistency is typically a struggle for the Highlander build, but the skills are powerful as a way to make up for it. The Melody variant is an extremely consistent build based around the keyword ‘Melody’. Units with ‘Melody’ share their ‘Melody’ skills with all other units on the fields with the ‘Melody’ key word, capable of creating multiple super units on the field that can beat down on your opponent throughout the game.
Difficulty: Friendly
Price: Medium
Aqua Force (Accel)
The planet Cray’s navy and rivals of the Granblue clan, Aqua Force is a clan that prides themselves on their superior naval strategies to turn the tides of battle in their favor. Timing and tactics are everything to them, and being able to navigate the flow of battle and manipulate the order of your attacks is what distinguishes the men from the boys in this clan. Aqua Force units get special effects based on whether it’s the first battle, second, third, etc, allowing them to unleash a torrent of attacks. Because of this, knowing your combos is extremely important, and the lack of advantage engines in the clan makes knowing and timing these combos critically important to fully master this deck.
Difficulty: Challenging
Price: Friendly
As you can see, each clan is unique in its strategy and design and there are many ways to play the game that extend to a variety of preferences. Did one of these clans catch your attention? Hopefully this brief run through can help you find the clan best suited to you and give you a general direction to start looking towards building your own deck. Make sure to stay tuned for more helpful guides and posts in the nearby future!

We have three kitties, and we’re always thinking up new ways to entertain them (and us), so one day my other half and I were discussing ideas – when we thought it might be nice to build a play-castle for them! It really isn’t difficult – all you need is a few cardboard boxes, a craft knife and scissors, some packaging and masking tape, cable ties, a marker pen, and paint!
This cardboard castle was a combined effort by Wendy and I, and we named it Castle Ming after our first kitty.
Castle Ming. The name strikes fear in the hearts of mortal rodents! Who knows what sinister meows may be heard echoing inside its stately, shadowy halls?
Sounds dramatic, doesn’t it? 🙂
Anyway, Castle Ming currently stands on top of a wardrobe in our bedroom. The cats reach it by means of the catwalks I built in the room (read about them here).
It’s quite simple to make this castle really – just put a few large cardboard boxes together with cable ties and packaging tape. In the case of Castle Ming, the bottom level is one large cardboard box, while the upper level consists of two smaller boxes arranged in an “L” shape. I cut a series of windows and doors in each box, and tied the boxes together with cable ties.
To prevent movement between the boxes, I covered the gaps between the joins with packaging tape (brown or clear broad tape). I made sure there were openings between the boxes on the inside, so a cat could move from the one level to the other from the inside of the structure. I made them arch-shaped to keep to the theme, naturally!
I gave the castle ramparts cut from sheets of flat cardboard and attached them where appropriate.
It took us an evening earlier this year to paint the castle. We used acrylic art paint, and outlined the little bricks around the doors and windows with permanent marker. Plastic packaging tape doesn’t handle paint very well – it smears and takes longer to dry, so I covered all the joins over again with masking tape, and we painted over that.
We added a few nice touches, like the two shields Kay painted and we attached them over two of the doors. We covered the floors of both levels with bits of old carpet and an old towel for them to nap on.
Our kitties love this castle – Lily and Nyx both play and sleep in there at different times! Ash is thoroughly a ground-level cat and hasn’t ventured much higher than table-height yet, but I’m sure when she does eventually, she will as well.
Pictures below – enjoy!

Date: Dec 16, 2019
We have a hard time to wake up. May be because we were too tired the day before. So, we just bearly make it to the breakfast cut off time. Hahaha.
The food is simple. But enough for us to eat.
Wow, the restaurant selling Tottori crab. I have never seen crabs has so many black dots. This is the marker of Tottori crab.
龙见台
We start our journey by driving out towards the Sand Dunes direction. It will takes 1 hour to go to that place.
The first stop we stopped is 龙见台. It’s a beach, that has a car park and a coffee restaurant.
It is always fantastic feeling to see a beach.
As usual, Kay does not like direct sun light. So, he uses his camel that he just bought at one of the highway stopover to cover his eyes.
I also wanted to take a picture here.
This is the place and the landmark.
Look at the sky. So blue. So, hopefully tonight has better luck to see the stars. Later at night, I was wrong. The clouds came in so fast and covered the whole sky around 9pm.
Let’s see what we can do here.
Let’s sky jump.
Here is the series of sky jump photos we took, and it is fantastic.
These are memorable photos. For me and the kids.
Kay Kay is flying.
Now, it is both the kids turns.
Let’s take a group photo.
Jay Jay flying.
I am lifting off. Naturally.
I am doing funny jump pose.
I am flying again un-naturally.
I am running in the thin air.
How about this, sticking my tongue out. This is fun!
We end up eating ice cream and drinking coffee here at the only coffee restaurant here.
White Rabbit Beach & The Surfers
We then reach another beach. White Rabbit beach. 白兔海滩。
And welcome Kay Kay in the picture. He is back facing the sun. That is why he can open his eyes.
It is a very nice sandy beach.
I made them sky jump, but the effect not so good. Using my iPhone to do the job.
Spotted a surfer here. Not come meh???
Oh, there are two more surfers in the water.
They were in the water for long time. And they try to catch the wave. And finally, he made it.
Most of the time, he just body surfing.
And here the go out to the sea again.
Finally they retired the surf and go back to the car park. Smoking and resting. So, they are the surfer yuppee I suppose.
Love the seas.
Love the bokeh. I am glad that I brought along my trusted 100-400mm telephoto lens.
Why do you think I can take very close up shots of the surfers. Of course using maximum zoom, the only regret is I forgot to bring my x2 adapter. hahaha
Jay and the Sands.
Jay and the sea.
The back shot.
Kay Kay throwing a rock into the sea.
And the rock leaves his hand.
This trip we taken a lot of nice photos. I am satisfy with that.
Kay Kay running on the beach.
It’s my turn. I asked my wife to take the shot.
Not too bad too.
One more.
Let’s take a photo of my wife too.
White Rabbit Shrine
Opposite the beach is the car park. Beside the car park is the White Rabbit Shrine.
Why this shrine is there.
As this is the sand dune area. So there is a sand sculpture here too.
Every where you can see the rabbit stone statue.
This is a nice pose.
A nice picture for the three of them.
There is a place for you to wash hand, pray and drink the holly clear stream water.
Quite nice to drink.
There are instruction to teach you how to drink.
There is this pond here too. In Chinese it says no gain no minus pond. Does it mean the water here always at the same water level?
Our first shrine to pay respect. Bow two times, throw the donations coins, bow again, and pull the bell.
Here is how Kay Kay did it. And he forgot the bow before shaking the bell. hahaha
Don’t forget to buy the good luck charm and the study hard charm. And the accident free charm.
Love the reflection of the pond.
Here is the reason why we are here.
But I did not take very good starry night photo yesterday because of the clouds.
There are so m any places you can see good starry sky in this province.
Really fantastic. I wish I can stay here few more days.
Let’s hold hand and say buy buy to White Rabbit Shrine.
Sand Dune Art Museum
We continue our journey. That is why I said, renting a car is so fun and so good. Because you can see more things.
And we are finally here. We have not eaten. But let’s visit the museum first.
This is a fantastic museum. They have different exhibit every year.
This is a nice pose.
All the sand sculpture is done by these international team. Wow. A lot of hard work.
Sand Sculpture of South Asians is 2019 theme.
This Gandhi sand sculpture is done by this Russian Mr. Pavel Mylinkov. It looks so real.
Wow.
Wow.
Wow. Look at the 3D effect of the building.
This is amazing.
I cannot believe all these were done using sands.
Wow.
It is really amazing.
My kids also cannot believe and wonder how they sculpture it.
Just look at the 3D effect of the town and roads.
More zoom in.
The facial expression is so nicely done.
The whole walls.
Even the painting on the wall are done using layers of sands.
The details of the building is sculptured using sands.
I like this one too.
It looks so real.
The city.
Look at the detail sculpture.
Some Indian figures.
Look at the face.
Lotus three face buddhas.
Just look at the eye lid.
Jay is amazed with all these.
The army.
The building. Wow!
How much time they spent to do this???
Zoom in more.
Smile or sad?
So amazing.
Elephant rider.
The temple.
The buddha.
Wow.
The apprentices.
Taking picture with the sand buddha.
Sleeping Buddha.
The followers.
The monks.
The statue. I am sure the real thing also look similar to this.
Taj Mahal?
Nice eyes.
Unbelievable face.
Another look at the street. In 3D mode.
Some maharajah.
Some beast?
Some goddess?
Another goddess?
The stairs
Animal kingdom.
This is how massive the studio.
bathing?
Elephant god?
Me and Gandhi behind.
Me and Jay.
From the second floor view. There are photos of all the past 20 years sand sculpture theme too.
They also have outdoor sand sculpture too.
But because there are winds and rain. So, they have to cover it up. And the sculpture are not that nice.
Here we can see the sand dunes. Behind them is the sand dunes.
Is just dessert. A very small one.
Let’s take the sand dunes picture.
Some outdoor one is nice.
The tour ended at the Bell of Happiness.
Ya, ring the bell, Kay!
Lunch Time Just opposite the Museum
We have our lunch just opposite the museum. A fresh seafood don place.
Cheers.
Fabulous food. Fresh and nice.
Let’s take a photo here.
Its Good!
Camel Ride
Across the road is the sand dune. Basically it is dessert, a very small one with some dunes.
Kind of strange to find sand dune in Japan, but here you are.
Let’s sky jump here.
Sorry Kay Kay, this year we didn’t plan for a skiing trip. So, you could not see any snow. But we have sand.
And he loves to run on the sand.
Although it looks small, from one place to another also takes some time.
That’s the sand dune. See how small the people are?
Now, when you walk on it, you will find it quite big actually.
So, we need to ride camel first.
And they charge for taking photo of the camel too. So, please ask if you can take photo.
So, in order to take photo of the camel, we paid for the kids to ride a camel.
It would be cheaper for both to ride on the same camel.
And we can take picture of it.
They have ride horses before. So, riding a camel is the first time experience for them.
And Kay insists to bring the camel soft-toy he bought just now with him on a camel.
Here they go. Riding the camel. For the first time.
Bye bye Jay and Kay, see you in few minutes time.
Wow, now I can see that how important a camel is to the dessert people.
They are there. On a camel.
You see that Sand Dune behind them. Later, me and the kids will walk on the right side. And Mommy will “climb” the left side, the actual dune that has inclination angle > 50 degree. Hahahahah
Wow, they seems happy.
And Kay is playing with his camel soft toy. On a camel.
That concludes the ride.
Yeah, happy.
Let’s give the camel a pad.
Sand Dunes & Climbing it
Here comes the next challenge.
And the kids can’t wait to climb it.
Oh, some couple taking wedding photo over there.
Let’s take some nice photo here.
It is a dessert but not too hot. The sea breeze make it very pleasant.
While we are happily taking photos, the kids has already reach the middle of the sand dunes.
Really no joke. Big.
Kids running up the sand dune hills.
See the kids already climbing. And Jay has sit down for a short rest.
Video of the Sand Dunes.
Look to the left of the very steep hill, there are actually brave people climbing that. It must be more than 50 degrees inclination.
Of course, I am a heart patient so I cannot climb that!!! hahaha
So, to enjoy this some one must climb it.
Boon Ching!!!!!
That is how I “con” her to climb the left path. The very steep path and she accepted the challenge.
No joke. Very steep. But climbable.
She did slip a few times. Hopefully she won’t roll down.
And Kay Kay by this time, already running on top of the sand dune.
I shouted at him, “Sky Jump”. And he gladly jump.
Let’s jump again!
Mommy, you are almost there. 加油!
Opps, she slips.
Manage to get the foot hold. Almost there.
The kids celebrate by doing more sky jump. There you see mommy is almost reaching them.
Got to love the way they jumped.
Mommy quick.
Mommy, I give you a hand. I think Mommy must be very tired. hahahahahaha
Tired…
But joyful.
Good job, mommy.
As for me, I slowly climb la.
Luckily I bought new shoe. And you can see the sands are quite loose.
And see how my heart beat jump up with just a short climb. hahaha
It is totally a new scene up here.
Mommy and Kay Kay still staying there.
The other side of the sand dune is the sea. Sea of Japan.
And I made it to the top too.
360 degree of my surrounding.
Jay Jay is sitting there playing the sands. Let’s walk toward him.
Really love the breeze up here. And the scenery is nice too.
More sand dunes.
More Sea of Japan.
He is playing with the sands. And uses his iPhone camera to record all kind of slow mo.
He sit there also nice.
Mommy and Kay Kay also come. And Jay show them how to play with the sands.
Kay playing with the sands. Using a stick.
OK, its time to go back.
Kay Kay just love to run on the sand.
While walking, they will sit down on the sand for a while.
Playing with the soft soft sands.
So, my family loves snow, and they also love sand…..
Sun has gone down. Let’s go back to the onsen hotel.
Before we leave, let’s take a nice picture.
Eat my favourite ice cream.
Really tasty. Tottori is famous for its big pear. So, it is pear soft cream.
鱼见台
Dragon in the morning, and now fish.
In the mid-way back to hotel.
They have this funny looking rock.
I cannot read that first Chinese word. The second word is “rock”.
Let’s take another picture with Sea of Japan.
Oh nice bridge. blue bridge.
Jay really love the scenery here.
That concludes our 2nd day. Later, I will write what we eat and what I photograph at night. The 2nd day is eventful. We love the sand dunes. The seafood don is not bad. The Sea of Japan is nice!
Japan 2019 – Tottori (Day 2) Sand Dunes Date: Dec 16, 2019 We have a hard time to wake up. May be because we were too tired the day before.
