Collin D'Cunha, the director of Call Me Bae, describes Ananya Panday as "one of the most hardworking actors I have ever worked with."

Director Collin D'Cunha must have struggled to juggle Call Me Bae's various tracks and episodes, as well as its large ensemble. He confessed as much, stating, "The long format shows are tough in their own way! However, as a director, it's tremendously rewarding to be able to explore multiple tracks and collaborate with an ensemble cast that brings the characters to life. Collin felt confident Ananya Pandey could handle the demanding role. "I was certain that she would be able to pull off this role. She is one of the hardest working actresses I've ever worked with. She knew the entire screenplay word for word, not just her dialogues. She took on the character of Bae and exceeded my expectations. This character's arc is what initially drew me to the program. We live in the social media age, where someone may go viral overnight. But what makes Bae interesting is how she uses her celebrity to empower others," he explained.

Colin has gained valuable insights from his Bae Journey. I speak four languages! English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi! Though I'm hoping to learn Korean (I can read and write so far!), Japanese, French, and Arabic soon since I find them very interesting and beautiful languages!

I've been practising my pronounciation and accent in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi so I don't sound so Scottish but my accent is nowhere near as heavy as most people's is! The closest my voice in those languages gets is Katrina Kaif speaking Hindi!
