betty, who's president of ecomoda, sees that the numbers aren't adding up. hires someone to investigate. finds out a founder's family member is money laundering. which is, like, bad.

as it causes the company to not be worth much. it's a scandal. daniel is arrested. and then he's killed in jail (if you ask me it was probs bc he cant keep his mouth shut). anyway. for the next two years marcela is bitching to roberto 'um fire her she killed my brother' and roberto was like, tired of her, gave in.

betty is let go but in the press statement it says she stepped down.

marcela with her middle aged princess complex, then is like 'make this punk ass kid i found in a dumpster president pls' and roberto was like 'are you fucking crazy??? no. im making my son pres again even tho he disappoints me all the time'.

mind you, the company hasnt recovered fm the money laundering and im assuming ecomoda's reputation is in the dumps bc they're inconsistent with leadership.

armando, along with mario who im sure gave him investment advice and said 'go for it. everyone flies everyday', invested in some airline. lost a ton of money when the pandemic hit. then the thing with bodegas and the employee severance pay happened.

so ecomoda is being held together with the giant safety pin they have outside the building:

then roberto's ass dies and his video will is like 'i leave MY company to my idiot son, my perfect princess granddaughter and my daughter in law, the only lady i know with brains. but my perfect princess granddaughter can have her shares ONLY if her mom accepts being pres again bc i love manipulation and loopholes'

also roberto: and nothing for you marcela bc your brother was an embarrassment to me and I died ASHAMED of the valencias.

right, so what im getting at is, ecomoda being in financial dumps is not betty's fault??? she inherited debt. debt that she has no idea how to fix. this isnt even all armando's fault. the financial problems for once didnt start with him. yes, he made them worse. but he didnt start them. it was daniel, followed by marcela. and marcela is paying for it bc she chose her anger over daniel's murder and the embargo that happened 20 years ago--an embargo that betty and armando fixed with an inclusive collection and franchises. franchises that marcela was against bc it interfered with her department.

all the valencias ever do is hold the company back with their righteousness and their classism. and now marcela looks like a fool bc she brought in someone who spied on the employees, could sue her as well for it, and completely destroy the company she says she loves.

anyway she deserves everything bad that happens to her. <3
