Always kinda irks me when I see posts like "uwu people with low/no empathy can still be good people" cuz like yeah sure we can I guess but why is that important? Can you only imagine being an advocate for people you personally deem good? Can you only imagine suppressing your frothing ableism for someone who fits your definition of good? What about the ones that aren't good? What about the ones you think are good because they're simply not honest with you?

And what does "good" even mean in this context? Are they still good if they do good things purely because that's what you're "supposed to do"? Are they good if they only do good when it benefits them? Doing good is more beneficial 90% of the time, you might never see them do something "bad", they may never do something obviously "bad" purely because it's inconvenient, are they still good?

I'm js maybe you guys should just stop talking about us until you've learned not to divide disabled people into good ones and bad ones idk
