americans stop assuming winter sports are Rich People Things challenge (impossible)
#as a canadian who knows how to thrift & garbage pick. it really isn't a rich person thing#just get a pair of used skates or snowshoes or skiis & like. wait until it snows. it's not that hard. it's super easy actually#can cost you as little as $0 in fact. people give their stuff away for free a lot#just because you live in the south doesn't mean all of us do#some of us live where the ski resorts are & so don't need to spend the kind of money you do#we don't even need to go to ski resorts unless we wanna go on those bigass hills#going to the ocean is a rich person activity. if you do that you're rich. if you surf or do anything at the ocean you're a rich kid#that is what you sound like when you say ''snow is a privilege''#my guy i LIVE here#it seems like too many people don't have the concept that people live here in their heads#like are we not people. are we just NPCs for your big expensive ski resort trip. what#okay yeah i think that's what bothers me about it#you guys are just reenacting that ''but there's no people [in the store]'' post but with whole entire regions#no one lives here. it's just all rich tourists. ignore the workers of course they don't count
