to think Sanlu has more ground to stand on than any other Sanji pairing because Zeff already approves of Luffy.

i mean, mans told him to get his idiot son out of the Baratie because he wasn't going to do shit in there because Sanji wanted more than just being a chef, he wanted his idiot son to set sail because he wanted him to find the All Blue, because that's one of the reasons he saved him, so he could accomplish his dream, and then there's this even more idiot kid that hasn't even eaten Sanji's food but has already chosen him, there's this shitty brat who's so strong and so ambitious and he's "this is no way to repay your debt!" and he's shaking Sanji, angry at him for even thinking sacrificing himself was the answer, the dumbass doesn't hesitate and Sanji's looking at him with this something that makes Zeff want to kick him until he sees reason, because they're so alike and his dumb, stupid good for nothing son should have left ages ago, but he's glad he's leaving with the kid who listens to him attentively when he rants about the All Blue, he's so relieved he's leaving with someone like Luffy, because he knows his son will be in good hands.

and i don't mean this in a "fuck every other ship that isn't the one that i like !!!" it's just that i think so many people don't see sanlu's potential and like they have the cutest dynamic pls hear me out
