what do you mean every one else looked after me?! what are you TALKING about?! this is all wrong!!

"everyone" didn't look after him. i looked after him, and when i couldn't, because of a head injury, or because my death was traumatic enough to kickstart an episode, i called in help. asked for favours. i owe dove a lot, in particular. i loved juno's abrasion, but it meant that when i had to call someone for help, when he wanted nothing to do with me, it was a favour to be repaid to ask someone to sit with him and let me be sure he wouldn't hurt himself.

#ic #ask #anon #it only worked as long as he was willing to be cared for.#he loved being spoiled.#it sounds to me that he didn't want to be anymore.#juno didn't make friends easily but i think he preferred it that way.#we fought once because i wanted him to behave in front of some people i knew.#wanted him to be less of himself.#i didn't understand why he wouldn't want that. to be more easily digestable.#it is what i do. it is my first impulse. to be smaller and work my way up to my whole self.#(as i was with inezra knowing she wouldn't choke when she had no apetite in the first place.)#he found that sort of thing... impossible.#he was incompatible with the idea.#he was his entire self at all his abrasion and at all of his beautiful brightness.#if you had to avert your eyes he wanted to weed you out quicker.#it only meant it was difficult to find someone to help him just because he needed it.#it had to be because i was asking and i would pay you back somehow.
