Okay, okay, sooooo

Last year I started this way too late and I also, like, completely failed and didn’t get any of my story requests done, so I greatly apologize for that 😅😅😅 BUT to @shadyrunawaykingdom, @corner-emo​, and @sevenmillionpsychos​, if you still want the same stories that you requested previously, I will write them this year and they will be the very first stories that I put out from this. If you want a new story instead, just let me know and I’ll do that instead. If you’d like to request another story along with your previous one, that’s perfectly fine, just know that your new story requests will go into whatever list I have going after your previous requests are done. So, now, here’s how things will go. Below, I’ll have listed the characters that I’m currently comfortable writing for categorized by fandoms, as well as different symbols relating to christmas and whatnot. You get to choose if you want a moodboard or story (if you pick story, you automatically get a moodboard as well, please keep that in mind), as well as what character or characters you’d like in it. Josieverse

aka single parent robin au! nancy comes back to hawkins after eight years to find robin has a six-year-old daughter (josie). robin and nancy fall for each other again and have to figure out whether they want to be together, because robin has josie to think of and nancy has to work out whether or not she wants to be a stepmother. (they fall in love and get together, obviously). nancy adjusting to rebuilding her relationships AND parenthood and catching up on the years she's missed... so dear to me. here's a snippet:

“I’m not a baby,” the little girl says, sounding offended. She puffs up, fixing Nancy with an indignant stare, even as she tugs Robin’s arm. “I’m six and a half.” “Josie,” Robin murmurs, perhaps in warning, but Nancy’s struck by the realisation that Robin’s bright blue eyes are staring up at her from this little girl’s face. Her mouth dries as she looks back at the girl, taking in the smattering of freckles across her nose, the features uncannily similar to photos she’s seen from Robin’s childhood. Her head snaps back up to Robin, and Robin looks guilty, confirming her suspicions. It feels like the wind’s knocked out of her all at once.  “She’s yours?” Nancy whispers.

this one has one chapter posted on my ao3 already! students at hawkins high start getting murdered and when a few deaths hit too close to home for nancy she takes it upon herself to figure it out. who the killer is remains a mystery for now... it's focused on ronance & stobin and the older teens as a whole. here's a snippet from before everything kicks off:

“Wha’happened,” she mumbles, sinking back to rest her back against the couch. She looks at Eddie accusingly. “Why aren’t you, you know, weh.” She feebly waves a hand at him. He laughs, the bastard. “Designated driver, Wheeler.” He sits on the couch, carefully avoiding where her head is resting, and laughs again when she gives him the middle finger. “As for what happened, I shepherded all of back here last night. Steve and Robin went upstairs to find bedding for everyone, and then passed out in Steve’s bed, so they’re upstairs. You, Byers and I raided Madam Harrington’s bedroom for bedding and then slept on the floor.”

Steve has powers AU

steve has, you guessed it, powers. an ability to bring back the dead, to be precise. it's a 5+1 things fic that covers five times he gives life + one time he takes one. i haven't started writing this one as an actual fic yet, only mini threads over on my twitter, but here's a snippet:

nancy’s crying, calling jonathan’s name, and all he can think is that the universe can’t be unkind enough for joyce byers to lose both her sons. “you gotta wake up, man,” he says, aware that his voice cracks, frantically tapping jonathan’s cheek. he’s not breathing, and this is the guy who has rocked his shit not even 24 hours ago but he— he can’t be dead, not after all this. so he’s not thinking straight, is the thing. he’s holding jonathan, and he’s thinking that jonathan can’t be dead, he won’t allow it, he never again wants to hear the noise nancy made when she saw jonathan get thrown.  “get up, man,” he says, urgent, desperate, and— jonathan gasps for air.

So, for Willow Vanessa obviously, Vanessa is Carmen's best friend, who really saved her in many ways and kept her from going insane when she first had to go into hiding. Vanessa also was there for her every step of the way when she was pregnant.

As for Willow, it's a play on William. There were a couple of different options, both Carmen and Jonathan knew they didn't want to settle her with Wilhelmina (sorry to all Wilhelminas, no offense), so they kept trying to choose between Willow and Willa. It actually ended up being Will himself who got to pick, a reward for getting Carmen to the hospital when she was going into labor and staying by her side until Jonathan arrived.

Josefa "Josie" Joyce was bestowed with the names of both her grandmas to honor their legacy and everything they continue to do for her respectively. Also because back in the day, Joyce could have easily called the police and had Carmen return to Pennhurst, but she didn't and opened her doors to her. Also, Josie absolutely loves grandma Joyce.

And as for Carlos Murray, who was born sometime in the 2000s, according to my very scientific calculations, Carmen simply scoured the internet and a lot of baby name books to find one she really liked. She ended up settling on Carlos as his first name and obviously had to also honor her dad in some way, being very thankful to him for accepting her as she was and always being there for her, despite being so untrusting of strangers.
