Jay frowned, looking to the window, then to Johnathan, and then back to the window. “Eh? What do you mean by... get me here?” Her face instantly went pale, as she came to her conclusion. “You’re gonna try and kill me aren’t you?! You used your evil magic on me, and now you’re gonna finish the job where no one can hear me!” She spun her head around, looking for a weapon, before she gave up and took off her shoe, holding it threateningly. “Leona told me about people like you! You should know that I have serious vocal cords that are not to be messed with and if I scream it will be heard!”
She stopped mis tangent, frowning even harder now. “But if you’re friends with Gian... why would you want to kil me?... Geh. This is too much for my brain. But hey, who says trusting easily is a bad thing?!” She quickly jumped to protect her friend, completely forgetting her previous reservation about his murder plot. “It just proves that Gians a nice person! I’d rather be too trusting and be betrayed a couple of times than be so cynical I never make friends! Plus I know Gian would never try to murder me!”
Ok, Jays finally gonna get to know the father figure >:) “excuse me, can you tell me where I am?” With Jay and Johnathan
“You’re in the Florenetta dorms, my room to be exact,” he answered, sipping from a cup of tea. He was smiling physically, but his eyes certainly weren’t. His gaze turned dark as he set the cup down on the saucer, purposely leaning forward slightly.
“A little warning, if you hurt Gian in any way, shape or form, I’m only first in line of people you will answer to.” His smile turned frigid. “We don’t take things lightly here, Florenetta is reowned for its dramatics after all.” Perhaps he’ll keep a closer eye on this girl, just to prevent something...unfortunate from happening.

Jay scrunched her brow, flushing slightly red. This was one of those situations. The ones she couldn’t handle. She could already feel herself tripping over her words before she started to say them. “That’s not what I’m saying—“ she stopped, clenching and unclenching her fist before taking a deep breath and continuing, “all I have is that I trust people.” She found herself starring at his cup, desperately trying to avoid eye contact. “Maybe I’m being idealistic. And maybe to you that’s stupid, but my ideals are all I have.” Her voice hardened at the end, and she looked up, meeting his eyes. She wanted to flinch away from his gaze, but she bit the inside of her mouth and continued, “I know that I make bad decisions, and I understand that you don’t have the luxury to make those decisions, but without those decisions I’m nothing. And I don’t want to be nothing.” She closed her eyes and sighed yet again. Her heart rate had shit up at the confrontation, and she was desperately trying to get her emotions under control. “I feel sorry for you. And if that makes you mad, then ok. I feel sorry that you can’t trust people. I’m sorry that you’ve been betrayed, and I’m sorry that you’ve been through hard times. But I haven’t. And I probably never will, so I will say with complete certainty, I’d rather trust someone who was going to betray me than to never trust anyone.”
“I’m not saying that you will hurt Gian, but I’m saying that everyone can slip up. I don’t know you. And maybe someone so... put together as you won’t understand this, but when I don’t know people, I don’t know what to say. So yes, if it sounds like I’m blurting out whatever comes to mind, then you’re probably right, because right now, to be quiet frank, I have no clue what I’m doing. And when I don’t know what I’m doing, I improvise.” She sighed yet again, flinching lightly at how much she was doing that. God, it was really obvious that she wasn’t exactly in her element here, wasn’t it? It was almost enough to make her laugh, but her high nerves were preventing that.
“I want you to like me. Heck, I want everyone to like me! I’m an attention whore! Always have been, always will be! But I love Gian. If you don’t like me, that’s fine. But I will never stop loving Gian. And looking at you right now just makes me love him more, because no matter what he’s been through, he’s managed to be the nicest person I’ve ever known. And I don’t wanna let you get between me and Gian. So...” she paused, before making up her mind and bowing sharply and suddenly. “Please give me your... Uhh.. blessing? Eh? No. It sounds like I wanna marry him now...” she continued to mumble to herself, forgetting entirely that Johnathan was even there.

Jay frowned and crossed her arms. “Look, I don’t know exactly what happened to you in the past, and I certainly don’t have first hand experience, and I’m willing to admit I’m nig the smartest. But don’t make fun of my ideals. I am not stupid or childish.” There was a bit more edge to her voice as she spoke now. Saying she was ticked off wasn’t exactly the right word, but he’d struck a topic she was very passionate on. “Of course I’ve been betrayed. Maybe not ti the same extent like you, but it’s still happened. But I’m happy living like this. I don’t have any power, so trusting people is all I can do. I’m a living person, just like you. And I have the rights to my opinion. I’m sorry if you’ve been backstabbed or hurt or... anything really. But that’s not my fault. There are millions of people on the earth. And maybe a handful of them have betrayed you. People are too complex to just... say that one thing will always be the case!” She stopped, ears flushing slightly red as she realised she’d just gone of on some dumb monologue. “Ah, but... er.. yes.”
Jay smiled at his comment. “I might be dumb, but that doesn’t make me thoughtless. Heck, being nice to people is the only thing I can do! And I value my friends over anything, so you can’t just assume that I’d end up hurting someone! Though, if I did hurt Gian...” she trailed off, her smile becoming much gentler as her expression softened, “I’d fix it. I can’t mess up anything so bad that I can’t fix. Even if I have to stand out in the cold rain for days, weeks even, I’ll fix it!” Jay paused, debating with herself whether she should say her next words or not. “And Uhh, no offence, but I’m not any more likely to hurt Gian than you are y’know? Everyone can mess up!”
